    Garden Center Greenhouse
    Donna H.

David R. Travis Mansion was completed in 1921 and acquired by the City of Tulsa in 1954. The house is available for events. There is a greenhouse, arboretum, rose garden, and Linnaeus Teaching Gardens. The rose garden is suffering from a blight that has killed hundreds of the rose bushes. There are atill a lot of beautiful roses on a terraced landscape. There are multiple water gardens. The greenhouse has many different types of plants. The Linnaeus Gardens are absolute lovely. There are secluded tables and chairs set among herb and vegetable gardens as well as waterfalls and water gardens with huge koi.

I expected in mid-Spring to find some beautiful flowers especially in the rose garden. Unfortunately the recent infestation of Rose Rosette disease has left the garden a sad and depressing place to walk through. I'm certainly no expert but to me, with all of the other rose bushes I've seen throughout Tulsa (like the Philbrook or even the Tulsa Historical Society building right next door) it makes me wonder why the Garden Center isn't able to do more to either save or replace their roses. The building itself seems a bit lacking in both maintenance and landscaping. I'm sure it must be very expensive to maintain but perhaps they could partner with another organization to help preserve this historical area of Tulsa before it fades away.

FREE and Fantastic place for a good walk and learning about plants! Very helpful and friendly people!!!

Beautiful attraction. Gave us some great gardening ideas. Lots of insects to see. Plus a friendly kitten.

It's cucumber tequila with seltzer water and a lime. Ask him for a tiny splash of their margarita mix for extra flavor while keeping the calories low.

I really wish I remembered the drink I had the first time around, what I do remember is that it was really good. The drink I had recently was the Don Diego de La Ve & it's something I'd get again + would be my usual. Anything tequila, it's automatic (rum is right there at a very close 2nd) when it comes to an alcohol beverage + cocktail. Has addition of ancho reyes, a chile liqueur, that's super subtle in the drink along with lemon lime & agave. My homie looked at my drink & said that's something he should've ordered. *Side Note* I took a look at the menu & I'm convinced I had the Cousin Eddie (when I first visited this place). As I stated that rum is a close 2nd to tequila & the Cousin Eddie has Bumbu (rum) that I already enjoy on its own.

Their menu: Veggie Steamed Gyoza (Dumplings) + Mole Dumplings * Chicken Tinga Kimchi Toastada * Cantarito * Agua Fresca de Jamaica. I tried my best to get everything from the menu, they sold out too quick!! Friday night was fun. The following day, I held an Artist Talk that included Pade Tea Mimosas (local) & Local P, which is a networking event for local producers to showcase their beats. Again, had complete control on what + how I wanted to event to be & I had just as much fun.
