Not too sweet. Definitely will come back when in the area again.

Certainly a neighborhood feel with dogs, strollers, and the typical guys on laptops. There was only one seat available and it was positioned in the back row facing the crowd. FWIW: I'm not a coffee sage who demand specific regions, roast or rules. Flight: cold brew, cortado, shot and latte. No sugar. Two types of beans with cards describing where they come from and what flavors to expect. Experience was pleasant, even though the place was crowded. The coffees themselves were just ok. I was told what order to drink them in and I finished (90%), all but the iced version - something about the light roast with sour notes really put me off. Reasons to return: People watching- excellent. So many strollers with human and canines in them. Stayed for 1.5 hrs Coffee- good. Didn't love everything they served but they were purposeful in teaching about beans and prep. Service- fine. Person taking the order was lovely, person serving the order was clinical. No smiles on this guy.

This cafe specializes in Asian inspired drinks, roll cakes, basque cheesecakes, as well as Japanese puddings. The interior is super Japandi / minimalistic aesthetic. Their desserts have also been officially marked as "not too sweet" by my inlaws so you know it's got that Asian parent stamp of approval! I haven't tried the basque cheesecakes and the puddings, but have been a repeat customer for their roll cakes. So far I've tried their matcha, coffee, and black sesame roll cakes and all are fantastic. Super strong flavors and the chiffon cake isn't too dry. I will say for a single slice the price is quite steep, but it /is/ located in Palo Alto so rent is not cheap I would assume. Also if you wanted an entire roll, you have to order 2 business days in advance.

Highly recommend going early because the parking fills up fast, therefore, the seating in the coffee shop fills up fast as well. Our go-tos are usually an Iced Hojicha Einspanner and a pour over, Iced Americano, or an Espresso Tonic. We've tried their matcha as well, which is also solid! Every single time we have gone (which is usually when they open), there is already a line forming outside the door. Depending on how busy it is, we have waited between 12-18 minutes for our drinks (on the high end), but the drinks are always so yummy! They also have an amazing selection of pastries including an everything croissant, cookies, mochi, pistachio raspberry croissant, spinach and feta croissant, and a mushroom croissant to name a few! Their Hojicha Einspanner is sooo good. The Einspanner is so creamy and their Hojicha is the perfect, balanced amount of nutty flavors. Whenever I have ordered this drink, people are always eyeing to see what it is because the presentation is also that good! The Espresso Tonic is also a perfect summer drink and the shot was pulled perfectly. If you want to get some work done here, I'd highly recommend coming early so you can grab a table and to also bring your headphones because it does get busy and loud. They also have WiFi and one single bathroom. Thanks Covour Coffee!

The people who go here are not real coffee connoisseurs. Careful with the reviews. For the connoisseurs - the drinks are not refined. It's slapped together. Perhaps, many university students go here for that. I saw many people use their laptops and devices. Back to the interior, it looks really modern and a perfect fit for a coffee place. I didn't really get something crazy, but I did had cafe au lait. Tastes like usual, but their prices are quite expensive since that drink was $6.30, which can be twice as expensive as the ones from low-end cafes. However, it's worth the stay and experience. I did stay outside and I honestly like it. It's probably going to be one of go to places for coffee whenever I visit downtown.

A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers!…read more We stumbled upon this place while craving coffee after a heavy meal at another restaurant in Palo Alto. Tucked away in a cozy spot, it's accessible through an 'Insta-friendly' walkway between two beautifully painted mural walls--a hidden gem in every sense. At first, I assumed it was one of those trendy spots that people flock to more for the aesthetics than the actual coffee. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Our group ordered a variety of drinks, and everyone loved what they got. The service was friendly and prompt, and to our surprise, there was plenty of seating. While their signature brews feature some unique craft coffee blends, I went with a classic cappuccino--and it did not disappoint. Bold, flavorful, and beautifully presented, it was everything I hoped for. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
