He was so helpful and polite...remember I am calling a scrap metal place! I don't receive this level friendly when I go to my bank. OK, so I arrive at 1:30 & the place was buzzing. Of course I would pull in and have no idea where to pull in & drop off, so I started to wait in line. After only 2 min I see a young man walking across the yard to approach our vehicle, I was ready for someone to yell profanity because I was in the wrong place. NOPE it was a friendly young man named Edwin and again it was amazing how helpful & friendly he was! First Tip: if you are bringing in large amounts of just metal, stay to the left and drive right the scales to weigh in. Once on the scale we discover hospitality & friendliness is just how this gang rolls! Andrew was the next person we would encounter and he explained the process clearly. He even tried to insure someone would be in the back yard to assist with unloading. The unloading process was easy because again Edwin showed up to give us a helping hand. I have been to at least 15-16 dumping fields or junk yards over the years and rarely do you find someone who cares in a place like this. Well Express is not your typical dump or scrap metal yard. These group want your business and they are willing to earn it! Just up 985 from Buford on Hwy 60, well worth the drive. I picked $33 bucks and it was easy!

How sad, truly, because there are going to be people who simply just don't recycle then. It does take more effort to load your car and also to separate things into the proper recycling receptacles here but oh so worth it if you care about the environment. I hate plastic and paper waste in particular. Some people take for granted the trees, and what great benefits we have from them, and so many are being cut down for housing, other buildings, and lots and lots of shipping nowadays. The least I can do is recycle the box my things came in. It was killing me throwing plastic and paper away, till I yelped and I found this recycling center. It's so convenient and it's great! The center is very organized and is perfect for taking your things and helping our environment. It's an extra step in my day, but I'm glad to do it. You can recycle steel, paper, paint, plastics, and they even have a donation area. I will say they don't take styrofoam, but otherwise everything else went! If you collect trash, they will take it but charge a fee to get rid of it. I'm so happy to have found this place, and I thank everyone who utilizes this place for doing their bit for making our environment a better place.

It's a function of the plastics lobby to make you think it's recyclable. 5 6 and 7 rarely have the capability of being recycled. We need to ban packaging that is not 1 or 2.

It's easy to drive up, start sorting recyclables, and then drive off. I appreciate all the work people do here at the facility to stay organized and keep the property clean. It can get busy on Saturdays but the week is very efficient. This is great service to the community and awesome service for residents in Fulton County.
