3 years ago when I retired, I called this company & received a very informative help. And it was a service I could afford.

I was looking at mortuaries, alone with an unfamiliar duty in an unfamiliar location. I finally turned to Yelp to see what was posted about mortuaries I'd looked at when David from Honor Cremations popped up to say he thought he could help me. I truly felt an instant feeling of safety and trust. Sometimes we're lucky enough to get guidance. David is kind, sympathetic and morale. I spent the next several years feeling secure for when the time came. One of the few things I was able to feel secure about. When my husband did pass in the middle of the night in the veteran hospital hospice, they knew to call Honor. Because it might take time for Honor to arrive, the hospital wanted to take my husband to their mortuary and I refused saying we would wait for Honor. I trusted them and knew he'd be in good hands and those feelings were right. The gentleman who arrived to take my husband helped the nurse prepare him so when he came out of the room he was draped in the American flag. With everything else my husband and I went through with the change in care facilities, finances, and just 'handling it all' as my husband's condition worsened over the years, David's honesty and compassion took this step off my shoulders. I have purchased Honor Cremation for myself, so our children have the confidence to know everything will be taken care of. Thank you David and Honor Cremations. When so many unexpected doors closed with years-long tragedy, you offered a safe open door.

Losing a parent is incredibly hard, but they handled everything with such a high level of dignity and grace that it truly eased some of the burden for us. Communication: From the very first call, I felt heard and supported. They were incredibly patient with all of my questions and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind. The Process: I found their approach to be very modern, transparent, and straightforward. There was never any pressure or "salesy" feeling, just genuine empathy and a focus on what my mother and our family needed. The Memorial: They helped us navigate the details for her memorial with so much respect. Everything was handled professionally, allowing us to focus on honoring her memory rather than worrying about the logistics. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I also really appreciated the honesty in their business model. I know it could technically be cheaper if they did every single thing in-house, but they intentionally use outside sources for certain steps to ensure everything is handled by specialists. I actually felt like I got more value this way because I knew I was getting the best possible care at every stage. It's also worth noting for other families that they don't have an embalming service; they focus purely on a dignified, natural process which was exactly what we wanted for my mom. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Honor Cremation, for taking such wonderful care of my mom.

When my mother passed, I was facing one of the hardest weeks of my life, made even more complicated by the fact that my wife is due to give birth in less than two weeks and we live across the country. I needed help, and I needed it fast to get back to my wife. Reuben and the team at Colma Cremation & Funeral Services did not just meet the moment. They rose above it. Reuben is one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege to work with. Not "funeral industry kind." Genuinely, deeply kind. On extremely limited notice, they expedited everything: they arranged a viewing before the cremation, completed the cremation itself, and got the death certificate and my mother's ashes into my hands faster than I ever thought possible. Every single step was handled with care, compassion, and total professionalism. What truly set them apart was the responsiveness. Any question I had, I could simply text Reuben and get a prompt, thoughtful reply. During a time when so much feels out of your control, that kind of steady, reliable communication meant the world. I lack the words to fully express my gratitude. If you are searching for people who will treat your loved one, and you, with genuine kindness and respect, look no further. I recommend Colma Cremation & Funeral Services from the absolute bottom of my heart. Thank you, Reuben. Thank you to your entire team.

We came here for my grandma who passed from covid19 Dec 2021 since we were recommended as this was a sudden death cost and this place was said to be CHEAP. Apparently, you get what you paid for. Initially, everything was promised and a pretty picture was painted to getting the tombstone done etc. Fast forward, months later (nearly half a year) POST-burial..we check, and no photo or inscriptions written on the tombstone. We are already going through so much torment during this period. Yet we had to constantly call them asking many times to follow up, and they had the audacity to yell at us, & ignore our calls. Half-done job (months later), and then tell us they don't want to do it anymore and give us some money back. Really? We told them that we need receipts to claim for covid19 burial services, yet its almost been half a year, and they are still ignoring us and so I cant proceed with the claims. Still waiting now, and still getting hung up on the calls by Cynthia Yang (director). Very shady & unprofessional service. Don't come here. They might have some tax fraud going on, so they won't give us proper receipts. Now we are worried about retaliation, yet I believe this is something righteous to do and everyone should be able to see the truth to make a well informed decisions for their loved ones. If I could turn back time, I rather pay double the cost and not come to this place. If I could give this place negative stars, it is what represent their business. (1st time I feel this way about a business which really says a lot)....
