I asked the sales rep at this store to correct my contract, as I didn't want to insulate the unit and install drywall. Irrespective of the number of times we went back-and-forth regarding the order, the snapshot clearly states that we were NOT going to insulate. Even though I asked the rep to make the correction, it didn't happen. I called to ask him about the walls after the install was completed and he deferred me to someone named Chris. She took the position that, essentially, too bad for you, you signed the contract As Is and it's your responsibility to ensure all information was correct. If this were corrected when asked I wouldn't have to worry about it. Wowww, talk about customer service. Very disappointing and I won't be recommending this company. read more

From the salesperson to the installers my Tuff Shed experience was very stress-free. Tom the salesperson came to my house to check the measurements to make sure the shed would fit where I wanted it to go. The installers were on time and did a fantastic job of putting it together exactly where I wanted it to be. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was when I ordered the shed I ordered it with the window box.From the picture I found online it was supposed to be white . When the installers were ready to install the window box they had a problem because there were no brackets in the box to install it (not their fault)and it was not white, it was black. Unfortunately the window box does not come in white. Customer service was very helpful and had the window box picked up and refunded me my money for the box. read more

Beware! Do not buy a shed from here without reading this! I ordered a shed from here for $4,700 and they built me the wrong shed. The whole thing was 7" too short. The walls were supposed to be 7 foot, with a 6'7" door. They gave me the short door (6') and the short walls (6'5"). The taller version that I paid for was significantly more expensive than the one they built for me. I didn't realize it when they were building it because it's not like I had a tape measure on me to measure the specs, but after the builders left, I noticed the whole shed seemed way too short, so I pulled out the tape measure and sure enough, the whole thing was off. I was extremely disappointed as you can probably imagine. I understand builders make mistakes, but for a $4,700 shed I would expect more accurate measuring. I contacted the company and just got the runaround for a few days since apparently they don't work weekends. In the end, they stated the model specs of the shed changed at corporate but the salesman was unaware of the changes. That is a horrible way to do business and just dishonest. I would never recommend tuff shed. read more

I'm in the process of having a Tuff Shed installed and I'm already regretting having gone with this Tuff Shed vendor. Several miscommunications have caused the installation to be delayed. I had requested a change in the placement of the door and window on a 6X10 lean to and when the installers showed up, the changes has not been made. They are refusing to take any responsibility for anything that has gone wrong. Now they are asking for an additional payment of $350.00 dollars if I want to go ahead with the changes. When I asked about cancelling the order altogether (I've already paid half the cost) I was told that I would still have to pay the full amount of $2600.00 plus the additional 20% which is approximately $560.00. Then to top it off, the "installers" who showed up appeared to be more like day laborers from the Home Depot parking lot. They certainly didn't look like carpenters. I am already in contact with the Office of Consumer Affairs and the State Attorney Generals office to file a complaint. I've used Tuff Shed in the past when I lived in the Central Valley and had a wonderful experience. Like most businesses these days, this one is quickly going down the toilet. Please avoid this company at all cost. read more
