I tired buying a tuff shed at the Overland, Mo location and spoke with someone after calling for several days and then the man gave me his number because he was at a different location and he told me to send him the ones i like after i go look at them i did so and it has been several days and no response back at all. so i called the Overland, Mo phone number again and all i get is voicemail. i guess that is my sign to let them be and find another company that wants a sale. read more

When we purchased our shed 7 years ago we were told by an agent that the will come and relocate the shed to a different area in our yard. We live in the city of StL and at the time we didn't have a fence in to encase our shed in the desired location. We have alleys and people would typically cut through our yard, so we had it placed closer to the house. Fast forward to present, my neighbor recently purchased a Tuff Shed around Feb 2025 and was told the same thing regarding yard relocating. Now, we are working on our landscaping in our backyard and is in need of this added benefit, we made the phone call and was told this benefit is no longer available as of years ago. This was my only let down with Tuff Shed. My neighbor is also slightly irritated as they were told the same thing as a selling point even though the service has been suspended for quite some time. Other than that, our shed has been very nice and has serve it's purpose as aspected, I wish my husband bought a larger size as he need more room for his tools. read more

We ordered a 12x14 Tuff Shed after designing exactly what we wanted on their website. The personnel were easy to work with and exacting. Day of instillation, 3 guys came to build the shed. They were great! They talked to my husband and told him everything about the project. By the end of the day, the shed was built exactly as we requested, the yard was clean, and we were thrilled. I submitted a review on 7/29/2023 giving the St. Louis MO Tuff Shed a poor rating due to the difficulty in contacting them. It was the voice prompt black hole with no call back. Since then I was contacted by Tuff Shed and have been surprisingly thrilled with the response. They fixed my shed which was out of warranty, we have had it for over 20 years, for a very reasonable price. They came out to give me a bid within days. They scheduled the repairs within a short time frame and they did a very good job. They actually did more than I expected for the same price. It looks great. The owner called me and said he was able to find my original paint color and I was so happy for that and that he took the time to find it. From start to finish they were professional, efficient, polite, friendly and went above and beyond in the repairs. read more

Owners of a Premier Tall Ranch (12'X16'). Happy with the useful space it provides. However, there are many things that make me unhappy and dissatisfied. There is NO EXTERNAL LOCK ON THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR, and there is NO SCREEN ON THE DOOR EITHER. Both of which were promised at the time of the upsell by our Sales & Design Consultant out of the Fenton, MO location. We noticed the discrepancy as soon as the shed was erected in Nov 2022, but the problem has not been resolved by Tuff Shed. This is just a warning to all who want to upgrade to the glass slider. Your property won't be secure without an aftermarket modification BY YOU AND ON YOUR DIME! I imagine our problem hasn't been satisfactorily resolved because the communication on Tuff Shed's end is subpar. (Hence why I am here writing a 2 star review!!!) As the paid customer we had to continuously call Tuff Shed for an installation date (purchased Aug 1, finally installed Nov 9th - we did have one last minute installation cancelation after we had taken off work and arranged for our dogs to be boarded for the day, but that seems to be par for the course looking at others reviews). After install we, the paid customer, had to follow up as our shed was installed without the wall vent covers. The installers told us day of install they were on back order. We got our ladder out an taped up cardboard so nothing could get in the shed. We have since received the wall vent covers! Further, we are working through a warranty claim as of Friday as we noticed water coming in at the 3'X2' insulated horizontal sliding window (also an upsell). Pictures and videos were provided to Tuff Shed and we hope it have this seal fixed in short order. Will update review once that is handled. read more

For several months, I had been working with personnel at Tuff Shed in Overland while awaiting decisions that had to be made regarding the shed's location. I was very pleased with the great customer service! The staff in the Sales and Permit departments were oustanding; being patient, very helpful, and dependable during several delays on my part. I was finally not able to work out my plan, so I was disappointed but Allison and John were very supportive and always friendly, kind, and responsive to my concerns. Terrible company with terrible management ordered from Home Depot last winter and was told it would be here in a couple of weeks fast forward to September finally got it!They put it together wrong,guess couldn't figure out how to lay out pre cut angles"seepic"....on top of that they wanted me to pay an extra 200 because they had to use more paver stones to sit it on...something like 100 every couple inches....they salesman said it was more tHan flat enough and they would just build it on blocks to completely level. Then the boss had the nerve to call and threaten us with coming in removing the shed if we didn't pay the $200 they try to extort out of us LOL,Especially after having several appointments and all being canceled because they couldn't find people to work read more

Very disappointed with the service. Took off a day of work to get shed built on country property. Took entire day. 10 hours. And they couldn't finish roof due to missing parts. A week later, a snow and ice storm later and now you're asking me to meet you there to see what's missing. Won't come out on weekend, and we have another snow storm coming our way. You still haven't given me a date for when you will finish. I will not be purchasing my next building from you. And I had planned to buy 2 more buildings. read more

I pay for shed house and have four cancelations in 5 weeks. All of these were day prior or day of installation. Still waiting on new installation date. I lost all my enthusiasm about new shed house. Now I am only concerned about money aspect of this deal. I paid for product fully and I have nothing to show. Don't try and call them, they will not answer. Also do not show up here expecting someone to be willing to help you. There were countless employees there but no "sales" rep to talk to me about inquiring a shed from them. If I could leave 0 stars right now I would. We purchased through Home Depot be that's where we go for all our household projects. Ordering went quick and sales guy was nice but that's because they clearly just wanted our money. After they got our money it has been a nightmare ever since! COMMUNICATION is horrible then excuses of why communication what bad never made it better. We started in May with this process it's now August. We have been rescheduled multiple times. The icing on that cake was is we never got phone calls about reschedules! So we lost pay from work only to find out our shed would arrive a month later. Then the night before the second installation at 430pm mind you we got called to push it back AGAIN to the next day. Next day was today was suppose to load up at 7 and get to our house first thing in the morning. We live 15 mins from the wear house. It's noon and they still have not arrive. My spouse and I have called every number we have from tuff shed to just continuously get sent to voicemails. We will be turning this into the BBB and Home Depot. Absolutely terrible if the product does arrive today and is not up to the thousands of dollars standards we paid for their will be more issues then a bad review on social media. read more

When you drive in you have to go between all the standard sheds and one garage. I know this is for selling purposes but it is nice to look at all of the standard options built. I was with a friend and the sales associate seemed to talk down to him. Still the service was excellent. He was able to look at every shed. With insight from the associate. He did end up buying a shed. The installers came to the house about a ten days later. Which was sooner than the original estimate. The workers were very professional and polite. They even trimmed a tree that had a few branches in the way. It was built and painted in less than five hours. The shed is basically like a miniature house. If you need a new shed or garage this is the place to go. read more

I would like to say that I have had worse customer services experience but I can't. Long story short I would never buy or suggest to someone I like to buy a tuff shed. Around every interaction the company tired to mislead or flat-out lie to me. I would have taken them to court but for a $3,000 shed seemed to not be worth the time nor the added grief. After 2 months of emails and phone calls I finally gave up on having my issues corrected. Largest of which they built my shed on my concrete patio and cracked it right down the middle. I was told all concrete cracks and the 3,500 pound shed didn't cause it. You might be asking why did they build the shed on the patio, well because the measurements the sales person took were wrong and caused them to build it to move it back under the deck...they also damaged the siding when moving the shed back under my deck...GM told me there was no way they caused the damage to the bay window that sits 9 feet over the patio...(Shed was 9 feet tall) if that was the only problem I might have gotten over it but the other all shed is also a pile of boards and nails. Some items that I find with the quality of my shed and how it was installed: * The shed leaked within two weeks of being installed and damaged the floor. * In less than a month I already have two roof shingles come unglued and pop-up * The large door frame has many sections where the cripple studs don't even touch the door header * The large door itself is not level, leaving a large opening into the shed and the doors not to lineup * Many of the nails holding the plywood didn't hit the studs ( I found over 78 nails missed their target) * The newly installed door trap was installed two different ways on the doors * Because the shed was moved into place after it was put together the shed is not level causing the door to swing shut and flex in the flooring Do yourself a favor and don't deal with these people...there are many other companies that can do the job and do it right. I didn't do my research and I am paying for it. read more

Terrible. We told them to install the shed as far back on the concrete pad as they could, which they did not do. Furthermore they installed it so it impinged on a tree, then Garett or whatever his name is, the manager, argued with me and told me that's where my wife said to put it. In fact, they didn't put it where my wife said which we were upset about and to make it worse they didn't use common sense by installing it so it was on a tree when there was two feet of room to push it left so it didn't hit the tree and then manager argues with me about it and accuses us of directing them to install it there. He insisted that we were supposed to stand there and supervise the entire building process, ridiculous. Plus some of the paint was messed up on the shed and the build of it isn't that great. Just go to another shed provider or at least a different tuff shed. read more
