If this review was based solely off my actual shed it would be 4 stars. However my recent experience with them deserves 1 star. Bought our shed about 6 years ago. Sales guys at that time were great. Purchase and delivery went well. My shed came with a 7 year guarantee so I thought it would be no problem to get the broken threshold fixed. I was sadly mistaken. Between my husband and I we've made no less than 6 phone calls, 5 voice mails, a contact form completed on their website, two emails, text and a visit to the store. This is months at attempting to reach them with no results. The people I was emailing with acted like I had never bought a shed. I provided them with the serial number on the shed and all my contact info and then they just stopped responding. Left voice mails at the main office with no response. Finally had to drive down there, the guy that was in the office was nice enough but couldn't get anything done. He was supposed to give my name to the general manger and I was supposed to get a call the next day but received nothing. A week after my visit I did get a call back, from a random number at 7:30 at night. Called that back a few times but never got another call. So I had my husband call as well. Then a few days after my husbands call I got a text. Husbands call was never returned. I responded to the text a few days ago and still haven't gotten a response. I'm almost thinking they are waiting for my warranty to expire before they contact me. Good shed. Terrible customer service and communication. If your buying keep that in mind. read more

We bought our shed many years ago. It's as nice now as it was when we first got it. So are the employees. Over the years they have helped replace lost keys and then today we woke up to that someone had tried to break into our shed. I had a great experience using TuffShed and I would highly recommend them if you're looking for affordable but well built to last garages.In fact they are selling more garages than sheds according to their builders. It's a 3 step process to build a garage- they have specifications for the concrete slab(you hire your own contractor) then their builders put up the garage in 2-3 days. I waited a week for the manual door- if I had wanted an automatic door I would have had to contract for that. Lastly you hire an electrician for the lights and outlets you want.Voila,now your garage just needs to be filled up with stuff! But the first person the helped me get started was Joe Ritchie and he,and really everyone that reached out to help got me through the process,and I am very grateful. read more

My family and I were very happy with Tuff Shed in Louisville, Kentucky. It was less expensive than its competitors, it provided a very nice shed that is solid, secure, and looks nice. I'm sure it will last for decades. Our salesman, Joe Ritchie, was very good. He made some useful recommendations and was very helpful during the process. The two men who built the shed (I didn't get their names) worked very hard and got the project done in less than one day. And the man who came and put in the anchors also did a very good job. We are out tonight doing work in the yard and admiriing our sheds that still look new. Other's in the neighborhood did not hold up near as well. Ive had more bad experiences with this company to count. They just keep disappointing... June 2020 After about 20 months, so many of our shingles have fallen off. We have called to get them to come fix it, as it's still under warranty. Just like last time, we cannot get help. They said last week someone would be out this week to fix it. They would call us to tell us when. No call. One day left in "this week". I call and cannot get ahold of anyone. I've left messages. No one will call back. I told my husband that buying a tuff shed was the biggest $5,000 waist of our money we ever made. 2018 Dont ever buy a shed here. Ours was installed 3 months ago. It was installed incorrectly, the shingles are extremely messed up and crooked. They flap in the wind. One of installed windows does not fit and cannot be opened because the sliding window falls on the floor. The attic was not installed correctly because the builders said it couldnt be built the way Tuff Shed promised us it could be. We have called many times to get it fixed but no one would call us back. The one time we reached someone, we were told the GM would get back to us but that never happened either. Our shed was installed in August. 3 months later, no returned phone calls and still a defective shed. BEWARE read more

RE: Tuff Shed operating at Home Depot - Evansville, IN (West) On June 18, 2019, we purchased a Tuff Shed Sundance display shed from the Evansville, IN Home Depot. That transaction left us with mixed feelings. The actual shed was well-built and the delivery man did a good job of getting it positioned where we wanted it... however from that point onward, everything was very disappointing. Prior to the sale, we talked to the Tuff Shed Area Sales Manager regarding some roof shingles that needed to be replaced. He promised us that the delivery man would bring those shingles at the time of delivery and the problem would be fixed. That did not happen. The delivery man apologized and said that on his trip to Evansville the following week, he would bring them. In addition, the shed when delivered, had two 2x6 boards fastened underneath them, and when the shed was positioned on the frame we had built, that left a big gap. The delivery man said that he would also take care of that problem when he returned the next week. The following week, when no one showed up, we called the dispatcher and was told that a different driver would be in Evansville, but he would not be able to deliver the shingles and do any repairs. From that point on, we made several attempts to contact the Area Sales Manager, including a very detailed email on August 21, more than two months after the delivery was made. Ignoring your customers is not a good way to do business. Although what we wanted done may have been optimistic, if that had been explained to us, we could have handled that. Instead, we relied on the word of the Tuff Shed employees that we talked to. In the end, we had the repairs done by someone else at our own expense. My husband and I went with my Mom over Memorial Day weekend to find her a shed. Duane told us it had to be paid in full which we did. Later we found out this is not necessary. Customer service is HORRIBLE but they had her money.It took forever for them to install the shed and the size was wrong 2 times and when they finally installed the shed it was still a foot too big!!!! They told my Mom for all her trouble they would give her a partial refund Lol we are still waiting for that check !!!! She wrote a letter and did not even get a response.The shed is nice but the ceiling has nails sticking through the roof. Thanks goodness we are not tall enough to get a head injury however if you are over 6 ft tall you will be going to the emergency room !!! I would never recommend this company,look for someone else. They make a nice building. In today's market that is the cost of admission to do business. They lack professionalism and their follow up Is unbelievable. They do not do what they will say they will do. I purchased a building that had slight damages. They promised to repair it on more than one occasion. I called the home office and was promised a return call of course nothing happened. I purchased the building several weeks ago and still have not received my warranty information. I am sure they would not honor it and way. If you have a problem the salesperson that sold me the shed would not even call me back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
