If you…read moredo not ask many questions and are not seeing any other doctors and do not mind taking a TON of supplements, you'll be fine with them. At my last appointment, Dr. Kam got frustrated when I asked her about potential side effects of the various supplements she subscribed. She also asked questions about the other doctors who had ordered my labs, as if she was upset I was seeing other doctors as well. Dr. Kam, who in my last (and final visit, as I will not be back to see her), told me not to come back. Now, this would be understandable if I had been rude or unkind to her in any way. This was absolutely not the case. I have always always been exceptionally kind and always am to all doctors (they are prescribing treatment for my health and don't want that to go awry, so I make a special point of being extra nice). I only asked questions, not an excessive amount. She got upset at the end of the appointment and said "you are making me mad." This is so extremely unprofessional. I was so shocked. Please save your time and money and go somewhere where questions are encouraged and where you will be treated with kindness. I came to Dr. Kam after being prescribed something by another doctor (an M.D.) which made me very sick, so I am cautious of what I take. Dr. Kam knows this as she treated me afterwards. This last appointment, I came to her in an urgent health crisis and was in tears afterwards due to her complete disrespect. I saw Dr. DeVille the next day at Naturecure, asked just as many questions and was treated with the utmost respect. She always asks if there are any other questions and doesn't make me feel like I'm annoying her or there is something wrong with me for asking. Go to Dr. Lauren DeVille or any of the doctors at Blue Oak Clinic instead. A doctor should never be so rude and disrespectful to a patient, especially when they are just asking questions. Dr. Kam is not understanding or accepting of those with anxiety. So, if you have any, or are unwilling to just take supplements without first asking about potential side effects, you should go elsewhere. Seriously, just simple questions. To me, this shows that she is insecure. Doctors who are competent and secure do not mind when you want to educate yourself.

Throughout my time there, everyone on the staff, from doctors and nurses to food service and cleaning staff, went above and beyond to take care of me to the absolute best of their abiiity. My room was always clean, medications were administered on time, and they all gave me the impression that they genuinely cared about me as a person, not just as a patient. I want to give special credit to nurses Teresa, Marlo and Jennifer, who went above and beyond to make sure I was well cared for and comfortable. I truly appreciate the efforts of these three ladies. The only complaints I have about my stay was having to sit in the emergency room lobby for four hours after being seen and admitted, waiting for a bed to be available, and they have the worst food and coffee of any hospital I've ever been in.

Who had been sitting there the entire time! Calling it Poor care quality is being polite. I was there almost two hours and we left because they would not say if it would be 10 minutes or 3 hours. But No one was being seen except the 96 year old who threatened to leave. Went home called an ambulance. They gave meds and IV bag. They took her back to this hole and they set her in the hall . We left. Don't bring a dog to this place! Special shout out to the emergency room receptionist, she certainly wasn't a nurse (no nurse would ignore two people in distress, who are writhing in pain!) . FU. And the nurse who FINALLY GOT OFF HER ASS to help the 96 year old man , hope your parents end up with a similar care giver. How do two sleep at night?

I honestly thought it was just a mistake that I got this letter discharging me. So, I called and they said they would call me back to work it out and I never got a return call. I have no idea what I'm going to do now. It's impossible to find a doctor who is not full and going through my entire medical history with a new doctor sounds so stressful that I don't want to do it. The medical advice that I'm supposed to be following is to avoid stress at all costs and now my DOCTOR has put me in a situation where I have the stress of searching for a new doctor. AND I didn't even get the courtesy of hearing it from her. I almost think my doctor doesn't even know because the letter wasn't signed by her! I'm just so sad that a medial practice would treat its patients this way, I didn't want to believe that things like this happen. It is probably for the best I'm just really really disappointed, Please do not go here. You will be left disappointed, and without your medication without any warning.

Terrible experience with Dr. Loomer…read more I saw him as a new patient back in November. I had been having joint pain and inflamed lymph nodes. The referring practitioner had ordered labs that indicated abnormal values for; ANA, sed rate, and rheumatoid factor. Dr Loomer + assistant ignored these labs, even though I made sure the clinic had received them and brought them up during the visit. After a quick visual exam of my hands and feet, Dr. Loomer said verbatim, "I don't think you have RA. I think, you think, you have RA." My mind was blown and my jaw literally dropped open. The PA in the room did not offer any advocacy on my part, she was a silent witness. He declined to answer my questions about other auto immune conditions, and said condescending, "I think you want a second opinion. Do you want to get another opinion?" He made sure to stipulate that I wasn't allowed to see another doctor in that office- then swiftly the room, while my jaw was still on the floor. Absolutely flabbergasted. That policy is a red flag, it protects bad doctors and is a barrier to care. I went to my car and cried. Then went back to the office to advocate for myself. I'm a young woman who has worked in healthcare, and felt that if I was obviously erroneously dismissed - who else is not receiving the standard of care? I spoke with a sweet medical assistant, bless her, and explained what happened - and that, based on my lab values, I had expected to be referred for additional testing, and I was so upset by how this doctor had dismissed me, talked down to me, and medically gaslit me. She said she would escalate the issue. The next day she called me back and what do you know? Dr. Loomer DID look at my intake info properly and actually did recommend me for additional testing and a follow up. Obviously, I declined. I'm sorry to this MA for having to clean up the mess of a professional doctor. After this discouraging experience, I found a wonderfully curious and intelligent doctor in Dr. Redford at TMC. He explained ALL my referring labs to me, said that what was going on WAS NOT NORMAL. And started me immediately on treatment. Additional testing confirmed my diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis. His treatment and care was exactly what I had expected in the first place. P.S. after such an unsavory meeting with Dr L, I googled him to find out more. He is Laura Loomer's dad. Had I know this prior to seeing him, I'd have kept far away. I hope this helps someone!

He sent me out the door with an allopathic prescription for something he could have easily addressed with a natural approach. When I called to cancel my follow up appointment, his staff was curt and dismissive and attempted to make me feel badly about cancelling. He is not someone I would seek out if I was looking for a kind, respectful medical practitioner.
