    1 Pollo taco & 1 Carnitas taco

I absolutely love this place. I have come back a few times because it's that good. Their burritos are okay but my favorite are the chicken and carnitas tacos. Studying abroad I've missed home food and this has been the closest I have found. Their salsa roja actually has a little kick to it compared to other place's salsa. The venue is filled with good vibes. You'll love it! They have €5 Taco Tuesdays!

Great and simple place for good Mexican food. You could choose different sorts and flavours.

Our kids wanted a change from the standard pub food. We are so thankful we found this place! The food was excellent and a great value. We highly recommend a stop here for fresh, clean food!

The ones here had hardly any taste at all, was way to crumbly and overcooked, and the hummus that came with it was kind of hard as opposed to smooth. I felt that restaurant lacked authenticity when it comes to actual Mexican food, and I found the food too oily for my liking, even the vegetable side dishes. The sweet potato fries were not too great and I expected better; too limp, soggy-like and greasy compared to what I've had at other restaurants. It very much felt like pricy fast food as opposed to real proper restaurant food. The service was very slow, they forgot one of our orders, did not have any herbal teas except green tea (not even earl grey or peppermint which I find almost all restaurants have) and they did not let us pay separately which made be reduce the stars from a 3 to a 2. Also, I think that the staff could be a bit more attentive to customers. The dessert menu was also quite small. The good points were that the atmosphere was pretty lively, the place seemed clean and the prices were not too bad but didn't really justify the poor quality of food. However, the menu had a variety of options and did cater a small but for vegetarians with dishes like falafel, potato based tapas and salads.

Well you're right, in that…read moretechnically this isn't real Mexican food, it's like calling Four Star Pizza 'Italian' but that doesn't make it any less tasty. It's probably my favourite restaurant in the whole world, and is about 80% to blame for my secondary school obesity. Whenever I'm back home with my sisters, we always try to make a trip to La Salsa for a chicken fajita burrito and taco chicken fries. We're generally always hungover and eat so much food that projectile vomiting isn't out of the question, but we never regret guzzling down enormous plates of deep fried spicy goodness. La Salsa may just be a shortcut to fast food via the theme of Mexico, but if you're gonna pig out, do it right and go to La Salsa. And trust me on this: Taco chicken fries, no onion, extra garlic.

It's an Ireland interpretation of Mexican food - there are tortillas, there are chips, there are beans. But, overall, it's not good. The salsa is ketchup, I'm pretty sure. No spiciness in anything at all. At first, I was so glad to see a tortilla that I didn't care what it tasted like, but after a few bites I realized it was pretty gross. An extra star for at least trying to run a Mexican-ish restaurant in Ireland.

The salad was large enough to feed two people, & there was only one of me! Loved the flavor & felt good eating it! Goat cheese & produce were incredibly fresh. Came with bread/butter on the side - as an American it looked like banana bread - however it was NOT (sad face); it was a plain loaf. Bread was okay; if it's made in-house, then I'll give em more credit! -1 star because I wish there was more crunch (nuts + apples).

For salads and sandwiches you can choose from the menu or make your own by selecting ingredients from the deli. They have a bigger choice than regular deli to include things like roast and smoked salmon, chickpeas, beetroot, cherry tomatoes in addition to the usual stuff. You can also choose between a lettuce or pasta base if ordering salad. They also have a nice breakfast and brunch menu, as well as hot mains like noodles, quesadilla, stews and soup. Prices are overall pretty cheap, you can eat here for less than €10. The staff were pretty nice, not much to say there, and the cafe itself was fairly clean with nice seating. However it does get full at lunch time on weekdays since it's near the hospital, but they do take aways as well.
