Please avoid Dr. Nathan Pekar if you have any interest in living a quality life. He has been among…read morethe worst doctor's that I have ever had the misfortune to have dealt with for the following reasons: - Rushes the appointment - General disinterest - Does NOT fill your prescriptions In my initial appointment with him, he attempt to make an effort at listening to me however the entire appointment felt extremely rushed and he made nearly every attempt to end it within 10-15 minutes. Following this, it was nearly impossible to get a prescription filled by him to the point that in the last two months, my prescriptions were filled by other doctor's (despite significant efforts including calls, online messages in the portal, and online messages on the Victory Medical Klarna messenger ranging from 10 days up to day of). The staff was also deeply unhelpful, letting me know that in order to get my prescription refilled, I should use the online portal, but if I sent in my prescription request earlier than 5 business days, then it would be ignored. If I sent in later than 5 business days, it was also likely to be ignored. And when I did send it in 5 business days, it was still ignored. I have left several online messages, following up each day, in an attempt to just get a response, and in the past few months I have received none. And god forbid you have multiple prescriptions, because Dr. Pekar will maybe fill one prescription and completely ignore the others. They also look to charge your insurance as much as possible. By state law, practices can but are not required to drug test you for controlled prescriptions. Most doctors range somewhere between once to twice a year. Dr. Pekar will force you into doing a drug test EVERY month. So, not only is he an uncaring and lazy doctor, he also wants to take as much money from you and your insurance by pushing needless tests on you as often as possible. In sum, please do NOT see Dr. Pekar if you want quality care.

From the minute I stepped foot the entire staff was welcoming and friendly, made the entire experience fantastic. Dr. Pekar himself makes you feel like you've known him forever and has fantastic medical advice and really listens to your concerns. The facility is lovely, clean, and has loads of parking (something I always worry about) and there is a pharmacy for convenience right downstairs in case you need the prescription directly following your appointment! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for top notch care and personalized treatment with your doctor, I cannot…read morerecommend Austin Regional Clinic or this doctor in particular. The office itself is very crowded and freezing cold. I liked the nurses that helped me, and I actually liked Dr. Cherry's personality, but I thought the quality of care was pretty bad. During my surgery Dr. Cherry diagnosed me with endometriosis, and just kind of casually dropped that fact on my mother while I was in recovery. Her office never followed up with me to explain what my condition meant or recommend a path forward for my own health. I had to consult another OB/GYN and have him explain the paperwork from my surgery, the images from my surgery since it was laparoscopic and to understand my condition. Icing on the cake was the billing department charging me twice for the same surgery - writing this review three months later - as I am on an epic hold with their billing office still fighting the duplicate bill and proving I've already paid for this.

Dr. Cherry is absolutely amazing! The office in general is very punctual and concerned about your…read moreindividual health. I had an appointment at 10:00AM and I was called back at 10:02AM.. That's almost unheard of for a busy doctors office! I had an IUD put in and it took maybe 2 minutes! They were fast and so sweet. They made sure that I was comfortable, they warned me before I was going to feel pain and asked if I needed a break multiple times. The nurse that I had was genuinely a nice person. All in all in was a great experience. I highly recommend them for any of you gynecological needs!

I had a sciatic nerve injury at my job that had healed after a month off and I just needed a doctors note to return to work. I called around to a few different places after searching for inexpensive doctors in Austin. This place was the most expensive. They were going to charge me around $190 for a 5 minute appointment. I went to Premier Family Physicians...walked out the door with a doctors note for $80 after being checked thoroughly.

Let me tell you why Dr. Brode is so great -- he is compassionate, knowledgeable, approachable,…read morefunny and - this is what I appreciate most -- actually researches information he does not know (e.g. what the differential diagnosis is between blankity blank and the other thing). He is also the only doctor I have ever had that does not act like he needs to be somewhere else. When you are in his office he is absolutely present with you and will answer any and all questions. I bring in a long list of questions for checkups and he has always been very thorough and very patient in answering every one of them. I had a recent health scare and he was very reassuring yet straightforward about possible results for some extended bloodwork and what we would do in a worst-case scenario. My problem with doctors in the past is that they would be very dismissive or just plain scary with no counseling skills. You know you have a good doctor when you think about getting a diagnosis for a nasty disease and you think, "Well, at least Dr. Brode would be the one to tell me..." The first review is also spot-on. I told him I was breastfeeding when my daughter was two years old and he said, "Whoa. You're a rock star."
