Also their number is +1 (503) 287-5715 if ur having trouble Not only did they repair everything in a timely fashion, they accommodated additional repairs upon request while the vehicle was being serviced (I'm sure this is dependent on mechanic availability). They are also REASONABLY PRICED (I do repairs on my own car regularly and was pleasantly surprised). Their customer service is phenomenal, the pricing extremely transparent, and Eduardo walked me through different options to help me decide whether to buy my CV Axel with them or elsewhere and just pay them for labor. I bought the CV Axel myself, but to have them replace the right inner and outer tire rod ends + get a brake fluid exchange + CV Axel replacement, I paid $534. The first place I went tried to charge me $1.2k this place is a god send thank you Eduardo! I was worried abt not being able to drive to and from work and school, and they really delivered. I explained to them in detail what i had done, and what parts i had replaced. Their idea was to replace the same part i did instead of diagnosing the entire sysytem to pinpoint the problem as a shop should...so they call me up the day before pick up to inform me that the problem isnt the part i replaced (big suprise) and low and behold they want another 1400 to crack into the actual problem, and that i just basically paid them 1300 to babysit my daughters car for a week. Instead of diagnosing the system they just threw parts at it...not a good look fellas...so when i get her car back i will go over the lil "easter eggs" i hid to see if it was put back together correctly (i know it wasnt) becuase there should be supplements...my advice is pay those techs better so corners dont need to be cut...and yall wont get put on blast for this type of work...

I brought her into MBI two days before her scheduled appointment for an inspection and to address the whine under the hood. They took her in, provided me with a priority list of repairs, changed the alternator, tensioner and belt and replaced the coolant reservoir. Why I will 100% choose MBI moving forward: The check engine light came on an hour after I picked her up. Not their fault, a completely unrelated issue. I called Kevin and he told me to bring it back as soon as I could. They took it in, diagnosed the issue and installed a sensor in just under two hours. Because I had just driven my car off their property after paying for the alternator repair, Kevin charged me only for the price of the sensor and waived the labor. This is customer service, folks. Overall, I feel their prices are quite high. It is absolutely the best shop to go to in Portland. I took my Subaru there with a problem with the cam sensor. They got it all figured out the place I took it to in Portland, which will rename nameless insisted that it was a $3000 job and what I was asking to do was just remap the ECM at the dealer near Burnside I'll say told me that that was impossible that my ECM had the burned in memory that could not be erased from the trouble light being on. I insisted to do what Gary's automotive Portland auto clinic had told me to have done instead of the $3000 work that that dealer told me that I was gonna have to pay but thanks to Portland auto clinic otherwise known as Gary's automotive they saved me $3000 actually they saved me $2803 cause I had to pay their $200 for the ECM remap I'm gonna take my Subaru there for the rest of its life savings of $2803 is just enough to never go anywhere else. Can you believe that they saved me? They were honest they were quick with the return, they were very knowledgeable more knowledgeable than the dealership of Subaru.
