I do wish they used sterilized equipment; the woman I had just pulled her tools from her desk drawer and didn't even spray the equipment with alcohol. They are small and while they do take walkins, when possible, they never compromise repeat clients schedules. They also manage to fit customers in for a broken nail repair, if it might happen when possible. The bottom line, they respect my time as a client and I respect theirs and their other clients time also. They gave me a robe and while I received my facial I was able to put my robe in a warmer so when my facial was over I had a warm comfy robe to put back on. When I first arrived, everyone seemed very friendly, including the owner, her husband, their two children, another employee, and the young woman named Sabrina who performed my pedicure. During my pedicure, Sabrina accidentally cut my skin and removed a piece of it, causing it to bleed. She also cut my left big toenail much shorter than my right, and it continued to bleed after I left. Since my appointment, the area has become infected. As someone with diabetes, this is especially concerning and has caused me a lot of worry. I was also told that Sabrina is 18 years old and about to start her senior year of high school and is not licensed to perform nail services. If that is true, it raises serious concerns about customer safety. The owner did my eyebrow waxing, and I was very disappointed with the results. My eyebrows are uneven and do not match. She didn't trim them with scissors or clean them up afterward, leaving them looking unfinished. I don't even know how to fix them now. I spent a lot of money expecting professional services, but instead I left with an injury, an infection, and eyebrows that need to be corrected elsewhere. Overall, this was a very upsetting experience, and I will not be returning.
