Meeting friends next door at the Indian restaurant, I had 45 minutes to kill, which felt like the perfect reason to come in and have a manicure. I was sat with a nice woman right away, who didn't really speak to me other than to ask what color, and if I liked the shape of my nails, but that was fine. The place is a bit dingy on the inside, and since I opted for clear, I didn't really peruse their color options. The woman next to me was getting a very fancy design on her nails, so they definitely have at least one technician who can do nail art. I do wish they used sterilized equipment; the woman I had just pulled her tools from her desk drawer and didn't even spray the equipment with alcohol. All in all I'm happy with how my nails came out, and I think $18 was reasonable for a basic manicure. read more

Yayyy! Finally: a nail shop in Tampa that takes their time, focuses on the details and does a simple job correctly. Hannah was patient and did my simple nude nails exactly like I wanted them done. I don't ask for much; I don't do designs usually or acrylics - I have healthy natural nails and I like a clean gel polish in nudes, neutrals, greys, and coffin/squoval shape. She shaped my nails exactly the way I wanted and went back for a couple minor corrections with no issue - no rushing, no loud talking in another language to her neighbor lol. She was really amazing, took her time, and paid close attention to detail. She kinda squeezed my fingers when she applied the paint so they were completely full to the edges and my nail beds - which are DEEP! She did three coats of Havana Cream (my favorite standard for work), and I'm so satisfied with the results. I was tired from work but enjoyed vibing to some 70s Americana favorites on the stereo. I revealed that I'd just gotten my nails done less than a week ago and was really disappointed so I needed them to look perfect for a video promo & headshots for work tomorrow. Extremely unprofessional. Please go elsewhere. I came here with my fiancé and she's 7 months pregnant. She needed help in the bathroom so I came in to help. The lady is banging on the door harassing us as we're about to come out. Extremely rude and condescending. As we confronted her when we got out she was yelling it's my store I don't care only one person in the bathroom. I tried to explain she needed help and only got backlash to the point where I wouldn't recommend any service here as the workers true colors are disgusting. She probably hates her job and she's not giving her all for the service she's being payed for. I just moved here from Carrollwoid and went for a luxury pedicure and Mary did an amazing job. She clearly knew what she was doing, has an amazing and happy personality, and asked me throughout how I liked everything. She even greeted me at the door. She's been working there for 3 years. I don't usually get a mani done, only pedis so I can't comment on that. I saw another reviewer say it is not relaxing... totally disagree...I mean it's a nail salon & spa, not a fully massage place. They offer multiple services. I was in a massage chair, Mary brought me water, the music was mellow, her personality was engaging ... what's not to like for a pedi? My pedi was amazing and I was VERY happy that she immediately picked out a problem spot I have on my left foot with an ingrown nail without me even having to say anything. I will definitely be back. Regarding my fill: They are not very clean, the gel polish selection is sparse, the atmosphere is not very relaxing and I felt my service was rushed. Overall 3.5/5 Regarding my pedicure: again not very clean, the technician hurt my toe, they do not use a callus remover and overall just not a luxury experience. I really do hate to post a negative review but for $47 + a $10 tip, I feel the work should have been much neater. I will say, Tiny (I believe that was her name) was the sweetest! Although, her work is a step below awful, for the price. I originally asked for the Luxury, but she wanted to do the collagen. During the entire Salt massage, she only focused on the middle of my foot (which feels amazing!) but didn't touch my heel ONCE! which defeated the entire purpose. Now, my heel is just as rough as it was when I walked in, & I'm short $57 for sloppy work. I will not return, nor recommend Tiny. read more

I just moved to Florida so I am trying out new nail places around the area. I saw this place on yelp and it had pretty good reviews so I decided to try it out. Oh boy was that a mistake. Don't get me wrong, everyone that works here was very nice. My nails however, are the worst they've ever looked. Not only are they very messy looking, they are crooked and an entire spot is missing on my thumb as you can see in the photos attached. My right thumb was also made significantly shorter then the rest of my nails and when I brought that up and how crooked they were she just took a file to it for two seconds and that was it. I am very very unhappy with how my nails turned out and will not be going here again read more

I was super hesitant to get my nails done and was even more nervous when I pulled into the parking lot. I made an appointment with Ping and when I walked in they weren't super busy, but I am so glad I stayed. Ping was excellent and super patient with me when deciding what I wanted and even when I didn't quite like the color and we had to redo. We had a great conversation the whole time and she did an amazing job taking her time to get the design/look I wanted. She also asked me before she did anything to make sure I liked it and was ok with what she was doing. I also received an amazing pedicure from her. She took her time with each foot/leg and was very diligent with my nail polish during and after application so that it wouldn't mess it up. I was on the fence about getting my eyebrows waxed and she convinced me and did an amazing job. Everyone loves my nails and eyebrows and I do too! I started coming to this nail salon while I was a student at USF. I've graduated and moved back to Wimauma, but I would travel to this salon because I really liked their work (I will say most recently I've noticed a lot of issues with my nails, chipping, uneven lines, etc.) I always set up an appointment before coming in. However, 2 out of the last 4 times I showed up for my appointment I was told they were behind and asked to come back 30-45 minutes later. I don't understand why they would set up appointment times if they wouldn't get people in for those appointments, especially since when I set my appointment time there were no other appointments set for the afternoon that I could see when signing up online (all were available for selection.) If you have an appointment coming in, maybe prioritize that over a walk-in you know will go past that appointment time? Again, frustrating because I travel, and even more frustrating because both of these times I had plans that I would not make it to if I waited around for them to be ready for me. Today I just left. I just moved into the area last week and when I saw that there was a nail salon 4 minutes away from my apartment - I HAD to try it out! I decided the safest bet was something I had never gotten done before - a gel mani. I did decide to do something simple, yes. But I came in with very beat up nails. A couple breaks and nicks. The man who did it for me blew me away. For only 22 dollars I have never seen someone pay so much attention to my nails. In the end..they look like nothing was ever wrong with them.
