It just gets worse! I wrote a review awhile back about our horrible experience with TSG Auto! Two weeks later the manager, Stan, responded and said to get in touch with him so that we could resolve the issue! I have since called and left 4 messages and emailed him three times asking about setting up a time to meet! In between all these attempts he called ONE time and left a message! I guess that's his attempt at getting back to me? (check mark me off the list) Mind you, since my first complaint about the truck we purchased being In the shop multiple times and thousands of dollars later, it has since been In the shop two more times since then! One time I called Stan to say it wouldn't start and could we stop by that day? Of course, no response! When you call the main line, half the time it's just a recording! When someone does answer they are not friendly and never say, please hold! Before staying home with my kids, I was in outside sales, so I'm very familiar with how to treat a customer! This place is by far the most frustrating place I've EVER come across and the ultimate worst customer service I've EVER experienced! I'm embarrassed and ashamed that we bought from such a place! It's almost like going to a set up, no name car lot on the side of the road! They sell whatever hunk of junk they can just to make a sale! At this point we are over trying, congrats TSGAuto- you won! Your not answering calls and ignoring got you your sale! I'm now just hoping I save even just one person from experience the headache we have experienced! This will be an updated review, I recently wrote a review explaining that I had been given a bad experience with TSG Auto. My previous statement explained that I had bought my 06 Honda Ridgeline with a few issues inside and outside the car. I feel it is still respectable and fair to still include what was wrong with the car and how TSG made measures to mend the problems at hand. As I stated above, I bought the car with several issues, those being: missing bolt in the windshield washer reservoir that caused a huge rattle in the cabin because it was no longer mounted but laying against the front wheel fender. I had a dome light stop working and most aggravating, I had a problem with the back passenger door not opening from the inside. I was not too worried at first because I was still going to come in and pay for the remaining balance on the car's price. Upon presenting my check, TSG gave me an answer I was not completely thrilled with. I was told to go down the street to a place they worked with called The Auto Clinic, because they did not have a mechanic on hand (this was also the day after Xmas). I brought it down to the Auto Clinic and they told me the door cable was broken in two and that the fix would be $340. From there I was given a bad offer by TSG to fix the problem with the door, which in turn made me write this last review for them. I was appalled that a dealership would not stand behind the cars they sold. A few days after the reviews were given online I received a call from Tim, the owner of TSG. I knew he had been on vacation because I was told he was out of town from the beginning of me looking at cars on the lots. So I knew this much was true. Tim had called me because even though he had more to catch up on, he read my review and wanted to understand why I was not given the care he thrives on giving to each customer that comes in. He asked for me story from the beginning to the end, and apologized several times for not being able to be around during my shopping and buying of the Honda. Now this is where it got tricky for Tim. Being a very hands-on type of guy, I was able to to fix all my problems with the car with just a few extra things to buy and a few days time to really get to the bottom on things. That makes it hard for a car dealership owner to try and mend the issues at hand. We talked it over a little more and with how much time I put in, the cost of repairing, and for the inconvenience, Tim offered to give me a fair amount back for having to deal with this and not being treated to the par he believes every customer should that walks through his doors. I malled it over in my mind and he was right in offering a check back to me for an amount that was more than gracious. I waited to write and edit my reviews because I wanted to make sure TSG would be holding true to the check I would be receiving in the mail. So for anyone that read this review before I was able to get my hands on the editing, I am sorry if my comments made any distrust or unwillingness to check out TSG's car lot. This company is a good place to do business with and they do stand behind their word and the vehicles they sell, we just had a bad communication due to holiday traveling. What I am trying to say is that, shit happens, and TSG did what they could to mend any and all issues I had with the truck. So next time you are looking for a car, go into TSG and ask for Dave, he will take care of you without any pressure to purchase a vehicle and make you feel right home. This is the first car I've ever bought from a dealer. Franklin who greeted us was such a straight up awesome gentleman. We specifically came down for a particular car which we found our way to, which Franklin was very helpful with answering all of our questions. There were no sales pitches no asking us any "what are you looking for" questions, just straight to the best of his knowledge answers. With no questions he got the keys to the car without us asking or his offer and let us take it out with only suggested guidance to the freeway. When we returned he let us be to decide with no questions. Though I am only two days into driving my car, I am very happy with my purchase, and I am confident that I got a fair deal. read more

I bought a car here and all I can really say is that I regret it. They use high pressure sales techniques. The finance guy will try to bully you into scam after market warranties. It's a stereotypical used car dealership with stereotypical used car salesmen. The car I bought was overpriced with mismatched tires. The worst part is the slimy salesmen. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2006 from here a year ago. After the first month the whole engine blew up and had to pay $6,800 for a new one. Had to buy myself a new alternator and battery for his car. This car breaks down on me more than 3 times a month. I spend more money to fix this car than I did to buy it. This is a follow-up to the review that I posted a 6 days ago. Aside from the issue with the washer fluid pump (see prior post for details), everything involving my car buying experience at TSG auto was superb. Steve and Brian were very helpful and a joy to work with in purchasing my new car. I did end up taking my vehicle to a Honda dealership to have a full inspection done on my car to find out about any other possible issues that it would have besides the pump. Steve offered to talk to his boss regarding the bill for the fluid pump. Luckily, the people at Planet Honda in Golden, CO were nice enough to fix the issue without charging me a cent (it turned out that it was a minor fix, nothing requiring a replacement part), and the vehicle passed the inspection with flying colors! It would have been good to know about the washer pump before going back up to Vail, but I don't think that TSG was aware of the problem when they sold me the car so I can't lower my rating because of just that. I'm very satisfied with my experience and I'm hoping to do business with them again in the future. read more

I will NOT recommend buying from TSG Auto. During the test drive I asked if they do a check over the car to see if it's in good shape.They said yes. Of course it's buyer beware and I did buy it "As is". 2 days after buying, there was a grinding noise. I took it to a mechanic that found the transmission fluid was almost black. I had to have it flushed twice. I emailed the dealer who I bought the car from and asked if he knows anything about the fluid and I didn't hear back. Later I had the battery checked and a radiator hose had been put back together with super glue. That was a disaster waiting to happen. I feel like I've been taken. read more

Bought a 2012 Acura TL from TSG on January 5th. Beautiful car and ran great on my test drive. Got all the paperwork done and went home with it that day. The following day started having lights on the dash come on include power steering causing my steering wheel to lock. Had it towed to TSG, when it got there they couldn't figure out the issue but they noticed the positive cable on the battery was loose(they serviced it last). Picked it up and the lights started back up almost immediately. Took it to Acura for a diagnostic reading, no codes came up. The tech then had to start testing everything from top to bottom until issue is found at $150/hr. Got a call back from Acura that the ABS control module needs to be replaced. Parts and labor through Acura, 2141.00 before tax. Call TSG to see if they can make it right. Rick in service tells me that's not covered through my warranty and the want 2000.00 for a new one or 500.00 for a used.(how are you gonna charge what Acura charges?) I understand the whole bought as is but this vehicle was in their possession for over a month before I purchased it. Not even 24 hours after I bought it the lights started going crazy and for them to say they had no idea it was going on is bullshit. Don't recommend this place. Now I have to pull 2200.00 out of somewhere to fix a vehicle I thought was reliable. read more

RUN AWAY!! My hope is that you read this review and save yourself some time. Went to this dealership as they had two models that we were interested in and quite frankly seemed to have a huge selection. We only looked at two of them and both vehicles were in such a disgusting condition that I can not even imagine what kind of mechanical condition. Further I am sure that this lack of condition is a direct reflection of the work they do and the kind of business they run. First vehicle was a Black MDX that was parked on the sidewalk in front of their main doors as to show off this vehicle! Upon opening the car doors the rancid smell of pet urine was enough to gag a person and visually loads of pet hair, food, and stains were noted. What kind of business would put a product out like that front and center!! Second was an Acadia that the sales man said just got back from detail. Well this one was only better in that it did not smell of animal urine but the detail work didn't even go beyond cleaning anything that was not easily reached. They couldn't even clean beyond where the seats we currently adjusted too. It may seem little but its the little things that matter and show the true grit of a person and business. When we first bought my husbands car in August of 2016 We were really excited... even though I was apprehensive about buying used... but the process was somewhat easy and the people were nice! 6 months later we have put in over 6k to fix problems that were not disclosed to us. We bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland edition that has sat more in the driveway than has ever been driven! We took it in for a maintenance check that turned out to be more of a pain than anything we've ever experienced! We had to take it to a Jeep dealer and back to TSG... costing over $2500 and no one could honestly tell us what was wrong or how to fix it! Thankfully we have found a great company in Parker, CO that has found all issues and will fix them all, but it's insanely disappointing that we have spent over 6K to even have a running vehicle!!! In the past, I have purchased a car from enterprise with less, if not ANY problems. I would never recommend buying a car from this place!! They take no accountability and any purchases will undoubtedly be a huge out of pocket expense after driving any car off of their lot! read more

After reading other reviews I feel a little let down. Jeff Z. was pretty quick to pass me his card and ask me for a 5 star review, rather than just offering a 5 star experience. This was a typical dealership, nothing above and beyond as far as service for me. Found an '07 4 runner online, gave them a call to come check it out and spoke with Jeff. Jeff did the usual song and dance "let me check with my manager and work my magic to get to the price you want to pay" which was mildly insulting and just a waste of time. He literally had to check with his manager to take off an additional $50 to repair a broken piece in the middle console. Ended up purchasing because it was the year I wanted with the right features. After purchase I find out, emissions are out of date, both turn signals went out 2 weeks after purchase, rear lock doesn't work, had to replace the gas cap, interior dash lights didn't work (which they fixed) and the tire pressure sensor that was supposed to be fixed is still not working properly. All of these are little things, but come on, a simple once over by a qualified tech and minimal investment would have solved all of these problems prior to purchase. Update. 3 months after purchase. Silly me I left my license plates on my trade in. Thinking this was a reputable dealership they would properly dispose of them. Nope, they drove my trade in, with the plates on, through a toll! I got the bill called them up and spoke to Stan the "owner". Said it was the customers responsibility to remove the plates and he can't be held liable. Okay I get it, lesson learned. So Stan told me to send him the bill and he would reimburse me for the cost... 2 weeks later, nothing. It was easier to deal with the DMV and E470 toll customer service than it was dealing with these jerks. read more

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. I bought a 2004 Ram 1500 from TSG not too long ago. Within having it for a MAYBE a week the check engine light came on. I get told it's just a bad gas cap so, I buy a new cap and the check engine light still hasn't gone off after driving 100 miles. I reset the codes myself and within 2 days it's back on. Forget about that problem for a second...now we will talk about the next issue. Broken rack and pinion within 2 weeks of having it. Power steering fluid leaking all over my driveway. I'm thinking maybe I can just fix that and it will all be good I mean after all it is a used vehicle you can't expect to be like new. Well now back to the check engine light. I go to get emissions done and it failed (I knew it would, just hoping to see what they could tell me) well it was a hose leak off the evap canister. TSG decides to actually be helpful for once and they fix it and tell me in 150-200 miles to get it tested again and it will pass. Here I am, 800 miles and 5 failed emissions tests later with now expired temporary plates getting screwed over by their bullshit excuses. Also pretty sure an emissions slip is required for a car to even be sold. All-in-All though, pretty pissed off at the company as a whole, sales guy we had was a straight douche who always seemed to have the same problem with his "old vehicle" when I told him about mine. My husband and I came here to find a third row SUV for our growing family. We had our eyes on one, but my husband is a mechanic so we are super careful. After looking at the black escalade we liked a lot, we determined there were some leaks at one point we wanted to look at more, so we had to come back the next day. After further inspection of the transmission, we decided to take it. Not 15 minutes after we left did this vehicle start having problems. The tire sensors needed replacing, the suspension system needed repair and all of the fluids in the vehicle were rancid like they'd never been changed. As soon as we got home, we noticed the cruise control was not working, and the inside of the vehicle seemed to be falling apart at every seem. The power seat fuses were also blown. They advertised that it had Bluetooth and auxiliary. It had neither. When I asked the salesman, Jerryd about it, he assured me it was there, but could not show me how to use it or where to find it. They also advertised that it had navigation. While it had the capability, the dealer failed to "notice" that the disc was missing, therefore navigation was not installed on the vehicle. The next day, the transmission began shifting hard into second gear. We took the vehicle back to be traded in. They offered to repair it, but we were sold a "beautiful" vehicle that was falling apart. Living in the mountains, we could not trust it. We could not cancel our contract, so we traded it for another vehicle which so far has been much better, partially considering it has less miles and was well taken care of by its previous owner. Our only concern was that we were told by Jerryd and Lincoln that nothing would change other than the price of the vehicle and payment because the new one was a few thousand cheaper. They ended up jacking up our interest rate almost 3% and their excuse was because of mileage. They didn't inform us of this until we were already signing paperwork. We also ended up paying $4000 more than the NADA and Blue Book value on the vehicle. We then had to come back down to have a spare key made, which was never made because their key guy is always late. Most people, especially those who live 88 miles away and have a family, do not have time to sit around for three hours because a company has employed someone who has no respect for customer or company time. We have purchased a lot of cars. We've never had issues like this before. We definitely won't be buying from here again. read more

I drove to this dealership from the Brighton area, very excited and impressed by their website. I was looking to buy a vehicle that day. Walked around out side and found the vehicles I was interested in, never once approached by ANYONE who works there. Walked in to the show room. To find salesmen sitting at their desk, salesman walking around talking to each other, not one even saying hello. Went back out in the lot was passed by sales people in carts alone was not spoken to. On my drive back I decided to call and ask to speak to a sales manager. After the receptionist transferred me it rang and rang finally going to a recording with no ones name saying the person was on the phone then it hung up. Called back in and ask for the General manager she said his name is Stan and he is not in I asked to leave a message she sent me to the same recording and again it hung up on me. I'm now driving to Thornton to buy a vehicle. They should put a sign out saying we don't need your business! read more

The dealer, Charlie, did not seem to care to keep my business or help me much when I finally did go to test drive. He would just point to the direction of the car to look at it on my own and test drive on my own. He was on the phone the majority of my visit and had to ask for him several times. One of my friends bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty diesel from this place and coincidentally I was going to be in Denver so I offered to drive it home to Calif for them. After days of waiting for this place to confirm that I could pick it up, they said they could not release it until they had all the docs signed and in hand, even though they had the paid in full check for the car. They would not do electronic signing, and was supposed to overnight the docs to my friend so they could sign and send back. They ended up sending them Fed Ex Home and that doesnt' arrive until late in the day. Had to go hunt down the Fed ex driver to get them in time to over night back. The envelope that TSG sent along to ship them back was 2 day!!!. So they had to pay another $50 go get it back to Parker by Sat morning so I could pick it up. FINALLY I got the jeep and hit the road. Stopped for fuel, started up and check eng light is on. Seems to be running ok so I drove it anyway. When I got home I scanned the codes and found 3 repair codes. So I thought I would check to make sure the air filter was clean, since it felt like it might be plugged up. THERE IS NO AIR FILTER IN IT!!!! GREAT JOB TSG!!!! Along with other problems like visor mount broken. Driver side window only goes up when it feels like it. Windshield wipers old and torn. Pass side speaker blown. I have been on the hunt for a new pick up truck for my son who is college. He came across an ad online at TSG Auto so we decided to go down and check it out after confirming with Charlie Walker if it was still available. When we arrived to take a look and test drive, we weren't greeted when we entered the dealership, it took over 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledged me. The vehicle wasn't available for a test drive. Total waste of time. Didn't like the other inventory so we left and took our business to Berkenkotter Motors.! From both my son and my experience, the customer service was terrible at TSG Auto. I took my car here about a year ago when it was leaking coolant. They replaced the water pump. It ended up taking a week for them to get the part and fix it. I received a discount because of the delay. I recently found out they do loaner cars but they never mentioned that to me when I was ubering to the light rail station every day for a week because the car took so long to fix. Approximately 12 months and 2 weeks later (conveniently 2 weeks or 1,000 miles after their warranty expires) my car started leaking coolant again. I took it to a different mechanic who said my water pump was leaking. Frustrated that I fixed this a year ago, I took it back to TSG after they agreed to fix for a discount. Water pump replacements should last at least 30,000 miles but this one only lasted 11,000. I was told my car had no leak. I had been told two different things so I got a 3rd opinion at the dealership and pay for a diagnostic test. They confirmed my water pump needed to be replaced. I came to an agreed upon price and conditions to fix the vehicle with TSG. Then they decided to refuse service altogether, breaking the verbal promise. read more

My wife's car finally died and we decided to go shop around. After checking out several new car dealerships, we decided to check out TSG. Let me just say that I wouldn't recommend them. When I go to buy a car I want to have a 1:1 salesperson, whereas they were short staffed and was more along the lines of 1 salesperson for 3-4 customers. In addition, we had been there for 2 hours and it was continuing to take even longer to run a credit app. Rest assured, we were told if we wanted to leave, they'd call us back. Never heard the phone ring once from them. Tried calling my salesman back, but no returned calls. I probably didn't get approved for their high interest loan, but when you don't call people back, that's terrible customer service. Oh, and when you look online for what they charge compared to what KB says, they mark the cars up 20-30%. So yeah, I hope they learn what customer service is all about because when Carmax moves in down the road...we will see how long they stay open...Oh and we did buy a car elsewhere! read more

My wife and I went to TSG Auto a few times. The first time I went into the dealership wanting to look at a truck I saw on their website. I couldn't get anyone to help me. A lot of people looked at me as they walked by, but not a single employee stopped to ask me if I was being helped or if I needed anything. I have never been to a dealership where I have not been greeted by someone, but it was like I was invisible. I just thought it was because they were busy, even though it did not appear to be crazy. So I came back a few more times, still horrible customer service. Another time I came in with my wife and 2 year old and was asked to wait in their waiting area because no one was available to help me. So we sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half and no one came to help us. We finally just left. I have never experienced such horrible customer service at a car dealership and we won't be going back. After our experience I spoke to some of our neighbors here in Parker about TSG and they also said they had poor experiences at this dealership. We ended up going to Echo Park on Arapahoe Rd and purchased a vehicle. We had a great experience at Echo Park. Unfortunately I think TSG Auto is a sinking ship, especially since CarMax is just down the road now. read more

I just bought a 2002 Jetta today from TSG - let me say, if you are "used car shopping" this is the most legitimate company to go to! Their inventory is priced right at, or barely over KBB or Edmunds pricing. Everytime! This is HUGE! Most used car dealers price their inventory 2k-5k over KBB's dealer retail. TSG brings a whole new way to shop for a used car. All of their used car inventory is first sent to the shop, so when you get it, it's a close to new as possible and you can count on them to put you in to something that is reliable. Obviously, cars will have their problems. But I feel like their customer service, and real way of doing honest, used car, business is something worth yelping about! read more

Dishonest Liars! I was interested in a used vehicle for my teenage daughter to take to college with her. We found one she liked at TSG Auto and I liked the idea of shopping local in my hometown of Parker. We test drove it 3 seperate times. After the test drive we noticed oil on the ground under the car and checked under it to discover oil in fact was dripping. The car fax says that TSG replaced the oil pan gasket 1 month ago. After I mentioned my concern to the salesman, Doug Storz, he said he would have the mechanics put the vehicle on the lift to take a look. He then called me back to tell me that what we saw was residule oil and the original mechanic that changed the gasket did a "sloppy" job. He stated there was no current problem with leaking oil and it had been cleaned up. I thought that it didnt sound right because the gasket was changed 1 month ago according to the Car Fax. After thinking about it over the weekend, I called Doug on Monday Morning to tell him we were still interested in the car and I would like to take it to my mechanic to check for an oil leak before we buy. As I suspected, the mechanic confirmed oil was leaking from above the oil pan gasket. When I brought the car back to TSG and spoke with Doug, I informed him that my mechanic found an oil leak. This is what Doug told me as he saw I was a little upset when I said I dont like being lied to...He said, "well I told you and your daughter there was seepage from above the oil pan gasket and we just arent going to fix it for a $10,000 vehicle"!!! #1. if he told me he knew it was leaking oil, I would not have looked any further. #2. He knew I was taking it to my mechanic to look for an oil leak (which I had to pay for!) #3. He said several times to my face and my daughters face that the oil was residual. This is flat out lie. So I ask this, which one is it Doug? Residual OR active seepage? Beware buyers. This vehicle is going to be put back on the lot for some other fool who thinks car salesmen at TSG are honest. Over all I was pleased with the service I received at TSG Auto. I drove in specifically to look at an 05 Grand Cherokee and after walking around the lot by myself looking at several jeeps Mark my sales rep approached. Mark took the time to answer all my questions and let me take the Jeep on a test drive. When I returned he did not pressure me into buying the vehicle but rather let me look a little more and think about my decision and later that day I did buy it. After purchasing the 05 grand Cherokee there were a few minor issues in which TSG helped to promptly correct.
