He walked us through areas we could save some money while still completing the required project and took the time to answer multiple follow up calls and emails. His crew was very clean and minimized disruption in our house. They managed to remove and replaced K&T without creating new holes/access in our walls so we did not need to do any repair work after the project. The project ended up coming in under our budget with high quality work. Finally, he responded immediately to follow up documentation needed for our CEC/weatherization project. Where things were a bit less wonderful were, from my point of view, the challenges with communication. There were a number of these and the last one is the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. A week after the utility company gave the final okay, there has been zero contact from Banner. Not a "how are things going?" nor a "thanks for working with us" or even an attempt to sell us on their maintenance plan. :) Today, the final payment request arrived, from a no reply email no less. Maybe I asked too many questions or it was the fact that I had an issue with the payment schedule not being made clear?

He recently completed a generator install for us and made the trip out to Skykomish, WA without hesitation. The install was clean, well thought out, and done right the first time. What really impressed me was his response during the recent flooding in Skykomish. On his own time, Shane came back out to check on things. He lifted our generator to keep it from being submerged or swept away. While there, he noticed our propane tanks had broken loose and were floating in the floodwater. He went into chest-deep, freezing water to retrieve them and secure them to nearby trees so they wouldn't be lost. That kind of dedication is rare. Shane went well beyond what anyone would normally expect from a contractor. If you're looking for an electrician who actually cares about his customers and stands behind his work, I highly recommend Shane and Fjord Electric.

Says delivered but for some reason he didn't get it, as I waited 48 hours as he says it would probably be the next day from my 9am call, for him to take a look at it. I was upset that he didn't get back to me but I have no complaints about his work as he did an excellent job for me previously and was Johnny on the spot. Just a communication breakdown unfortunately!!
