Fully covered. And instead of automatically correcting the overpayment once insurance processed the claim, this office just... keeps the money unless you call and demand it back. Let that sink in. They will not issue refunds automatically. The patient has to catch the mistake and call. How many patients never even realize they were overcharged? How many people assume the office knows what it's doing and trust the bill? This office handles insurance claims every single day. They know how preventive services are billed. They know preventive screenings are covered at 100%. Pretending confusion or acting like this is some unpredictable insurance mystery is insulting. This isn't a rare coding anomaly -- it's routine, standard billing. Patients shouldn't have to audit their own medical bills to make sure a provider isn't sitting on their money. If you overcharge, you fix it. Automatically. Period. If you go here, scrutinize every single bill and compare it to your EOB. Apparently, that's the only way to make sure you're not quietly overpaying.

From their telephone recording to signs all over the building, they say they 'collect ALL copay and co-insurance upfront' before scheduling any operations. They reached out to my insurance, we figured out what this would truly be out of pocket for me, and I paid them in full that day. Well, they messed up and I am now well over $1500 in unexpected additional medical bills at this point. They said it was my fault. I have all their notes. I have my timeline and I know how serious I was trying to get in front of this, but they don't care and you all should be warned as well. Maybe look for someone more organized. They're so behind that when they send you an invoice, to pay, they expect you to write your credit card number on a piece of paper and mail it back to them. They also expect you to be their accounting department and will send you invoices from different parts of the business despite being one company and in one building. Update: I went into their office to settle, the place where I originally made my payment. They told me they wouldn't accept payment in office and I needed to return with my invoice or use their billing department method. I'm not writing my credit card info on a paper and mailing it. After some back and forth, they agreed to take my payment. How nice of them. They assured me I was paid in full. Two weeks later I just received another invoice in the mail. Chaos, please avoid them.
