I was able to navigate fairly easily for the most part, however it seems the closer you get to your destination it's easier to get confused or lost. I adored the astronaut cow near the IAH entrance and the big photo-op letters! The quirky cowboy aesthetic was phenomenal. I arrived during the World Cup so the airport had plenty of soccer mannequins and memorabilia. Gift shops had space suits and Astros merch. The gentlemen at the shuttle/rideshare area were so nice! They gave me thorough directions on where to locate The Parking Spot shuttle. Additionally, when I returned a few days later for departure I had a favorable experience with a Clear TSA agent, she was very polite and helpful. I never have heartwarming experiences with TSA, I did here! She walked me through the fast lane process and brought levity to a stressful environment for many. Seats are comfortable in the terminals, bathrooms could be cleaner. I saw some trash on the floor in the men's restroom.

This time I was on a connecting flight on my way to Dallas. IAH is a United hub. Terminal C. is clean and bright. It has window to floor windows. They also have chargers on every table for your electronics. Vida Taqueria, Cibo Express, BamBam, Sunglass Hut, Jo Malone, Wendy's, Pick Stix, Potbelly and Neapolitan Pizza are all located at Terminal C.

Everything seem straightforward, and I didn't have to deal with baggage claim delays, which made getting out much faster. The signage was clear enough to follow without confusion, and the flow from the gate to ground transportation was pretty effcient even with other passengers arriving at the same time. Overall a simple and easy arrival back into Houston through terminal E. I would love to get this terminal each time I arrive home. Could be because we had a light passage haul even though we were on a larger craft.

Wow. I haven't flown out of IAH terminal A in several years! Much to…read moremy surprise there were some notable changes. In the lower gate A numbers (A1-A15) they now have 2 new eating restaurants. In addition to the Breakfast Klub (southern breakfast/brunch food), they now have Simone Biles Taste of Gold (American, cocktails) & El Tiempo Cantina (Mexican, cocktails). I'm pretty sure they changed out a few of the fast food restaurants but I honestly didn't look at those. They had live music in the center near Breakfast Klub, in the area they call "Symphony in the Air". The live saxophonist & drummer sounded really great. Another change was the exit to baggage claim. It was surprisingly a much longer walk! From the lower A gates you now must walk all the way around toward the higher gates to get to the baggage claim exit. Its about a 5 min walk to get to the baggage exit/escalators. During this walk through the connector hallway of the lower & higher A gates, there is an Art display area called "Houston Airport Artist in Residence (AIR)". The display from local artist is wonderful to see. The enhancements for terminal A are good. Previously, it always felt like one of the more neglected terminals. I know IAH still has a lot of construction underway. I look forward to seeing additional airport improvements.

Not here, it was calm and relatively relaxed. Again, I'm only talking about my arrival terminal at the time (the rest of the airport is massive and always busy).

A layover brought us back here and it was quiet and not crowded for a Saturday, early evening. As far as US airports go, this was a nice change and a pleasure to fly through. Connecting international flights take extra time to go through passport control, immigration, and recheck bags. Allow extra time for connecting flights. Only downside, hence a deduction of a point is somehow my neck pillow was either stolen or thrown away after going through the security machine. Although there are cameras everywhere, they couldn't find it. All in a matter of minutes. At least all my important items were still there.

I was here a month ago and wires and AC ducts were hanging out of the ceiling. Since, it is like a heck of an upgraded remodel! Terminal D has always been the worst and I guess they took that into consideration for this upgrade to a proper international terminal. It is not finished and they are still working on the proper international gates. Terminal D went from worse to first or close to C1 - C15, the current best. I spoke to the United agent and she said this has only been "finished" for about a week. I didn't deduct three points for the ongoing parking and train mess out front. Please note it continues to be a huge mess and the airport authority has no clue. This isn't being managed well. IAH has more land than almost any other airport. Why don't they use it an establish a train to get to terminals. This is silliness.

Frontier may have made it a headache and a half dropping my bag off this morning (my gate was D7,…read morebut I needed to go to Terminal A to check in my $69 40lb limit bag...), but thankfully, Terminal D restrooms are much cleaner and up to date than those in Terminal A. Also, Terminal D departure signage can be a more prominent. It's very easy to miss. However, the art work is beautiful and makes for a scenic walk from gate to gate. The skytrain here is much more up to date than the subway, which feels like creeping doom and gloom, but it beats walking uphill 23 min from Terminal D/E to Terminal A.

Looks like some upgrades have been done here. Last time I was in, it smelled raunchy and there was very little seating by the gates. This time around, though, it didn't stink (literally) and there were an adequate number of seats for travelers. Not my fave terminal at IAH, but it will do.

I was like... at least we don't have to walk all the way to Gate E24. Boy was I wrong. This airport apparently counts backwards!!! Gate E4 was at the end... wth Houston. You get a 2 for counting the incorrect way and tricking me to have hope. Tips for those traveling with young kids: 1. Check in all your bags. 2. Make sure you have a full night's rest beforehand

I was traveling with my 87 year old father and autistic son. We asked for a ride on one of those golf cart type things, and they said maybe and then yes and they'll be right back. When the cart came back, the driver would not let us on even though a friend of theirs hopped on. There is a transport cart every 50 yards in this place but there are no drivers and the drivers they have are rude. It's really sad, because the airport has a beautiful interior design. This airport an almost certainly not ADA-compliant.
