Spending the entire evening and observing what goes on after hours was quite eye-opening for me. I observe firsthand many workers who are on cleaning crews. Many thanks for their hard work because the place was spotless and this airport is huge. There were a few, however, who should probably be evaluated a little bit closer. I was down at C Concourse at gate 22. Spent a couple of hours there and observed at least two or three individuals who were vacuuming floors. You may think I'm exaggerating, but it took one of them almost 20 minutes to uncoil an extension cord. During that time he dropped the cord to the floor several times and spent at least 5 to 8 minutes solid texting someone Over the next hour, this scene repeated itself several times. He would work for 3 to 5 minutes and then take a 5 to 8 minute break. Several coworkers nearby were doing the same thing so things seem to move at a very slow pace mind you, the place did get cleaned ultimately but it makes you wonder how much more could've been done if there had been a higher ratio of work to breaks. The shops and amenities at this airport were amazing and I loved a couple of the restaurants that I tried. Hope to be here in better weather for my next visit.

Wow. I haven't flown out of IAH terminal A in several years! Much to…read moremy surprise there were some notable changes. In the lower gate A numbers (A1-A15) they now have 2 new eating restaurants. In addition to the Breakfast Klub (southern breakfast/brunch food), they now have Simone Biles Taste of Gold (American, cocktails) & El Tiempo Cantina (Mexican, cocktails). I'm pretty sure they changed out a few of the fast food restaurants but I honestly didn't look at those. They had live music in the center near Breakfast Klub, in the area they call "Symphony in the Air". The live saxophonist & drummer sounded really great. Another change was the exit to baggage claim. It was surprisingly a much longer walk! From the lower A gates you now must walk all the way around toward the higher gates to get to the baggage claim exit. Its about a 5 min walk to get to the baggage exit/escalators. During this walk through the connector hallway of the lower & higher A gates, there is an Art display area called "Houston Airport Artist in Residence (AIR)". The display from local artist is wonderful to see. The enhancements for terminal A are good. Previously, it always felt like one of the more neglected terminals. I know IAH still has a lot of construction underway. I look forward to seeing additional airport improvements.

Everything seem straightforward, and I didn't have to deal with baggage claim delays, which made getting out much faster. The signage was clear enough to follow without confusion, and the flow from the gate to ground transportation was pretty effcient even with other passengers arriving at the same time. Overall a simple and easy arrival back into Houston through terminal E. I would love to get this terminal each time I arrive home. Could be because we had a light passage haul even though we were on a larger craft.

It's an international terminal (I flew directly to Japan from here.), but it also seems like an overflow terminal, as I have flown United to Newark and Las Vegas from this spot. We have always encountered polite agents, efficient service and, being a southern airport, less travel disruption going to winter places than DEN, MSP or ORD. This one was no different, coming in from Boston and departing to Cancun, Mexico. Even with a delay, the place was quite pleasant. WiFi, plenty of seating and friendly agents. We left relaxed and ready for our conference. We have decided we should fly through here more often. Spacious and comfortable place.

They also have chargers on every table for your electronics. Vida Taqueria, Cibo Express, BamBam, Sunglass Hut, Jo Malone, Wendy's, Pick Stix, Potbelly and Neapolitan Pizza are all located at Terminal C.

A layover brought us back here and it was quiet and not crowded for a Saturday, early evening. As far as US airports go, this was a nice change and a pleasure to fly through. Connecting international flights take extra time to go through passport control, immigration, and recheck bags. Allow extra time for connecting flights. Only downside, hence a deduction of a point is somehow my neck pillow was either stolen or thrown away after going through the security machine. Although there are cameras everywhere, they couldn't find it. All in a matter of minutes. At least all my important items were still there.

I was traveling with my 87 year old father and autistic son. We asked for a ride on one of those golf cart type things, and they said maybe and then yes and they'll be right back. When the cart came back, the driver would not let us on even though a friend of theirs hopped on. There is a transport cart every 50 yards in this place but there are no drivers and the drivers they have are rude. It's really sad, because the airport has a beautiful interior design. This airport an almost certainly not ADA-compliant.

I know that some folks will be dismayed at having to check their carryons, but they were adamant that folks in later groups gate checked their luggage. That alleviated the overhead situation greatly in a full plane. Their emergency exit seats have more legroom than most of the other Economy Plus seating - highly recommend. On the way to Boston, we had ordered their breakfast sandwiches and they came to us a third into the flight, hot, tasty and just on time. We got to Cancun on time, superb flight.
