Right across the street from Mt Trashmore, the building had a lovely curb appeal to it and refreshing to see the newness of it all. Upon entering, I didn't have to deal with the stairs or anything like that which was good when you have back pain. It was very clean inside, quiet, and calming which made my nerves ease quite a bit right away. The receptionist were prompt and very easy to work with especially since I had my info put in prior to the appointment. That alone was a great experience as I apparently didn't fill out the pre-registered form correctly the week before however, I received a call and the receptionist walked me through it all filling it out for me which was lovely! It was less than ten minutes upon arrival until I went back with the assistants to which went over my info and made sure it was all matching in case I missed anything. After she left, minutes later Dr. Gauthier enter with his assistant to go over the info one last time. He was very welcoming and took his time making sure all the info was correct and if I had forgotten something and wanted to double check everything. I did remember I had a nerve test to which he then sent the assistant out to get information from that facility. In this time, he performed his testing/evaluation of my issues and then talked about exactly what was going on in his findings and how the procedure was going to work. He assured me that this process would be a bit different and most likely much better than the "caudal injection" to which was excruciating for me in the past. I had such a calm and comforting feeling with the process and really appreciated it. He told me what to take off and would return to take me back for the quick procedure. The assistant came back and escorted me to the room and again, very clean, modern and comforting. The assistant had small talk with me waiting on the Dr to which he quickly returned and picked up right with the assistant. We were laughing and carrying on all while taking pauses and being professional at the same time dialing in the machines. The procedure lasted about 10-15 minutes tops and for me personally, was so much better than any of the other shots or testings I had done. It was closer to a level 3 in pain vs others that reached 9.5! I told him I would happily do another one if it came down to that as that experience overall was very pleasant. I mean its not all comfortable but that is what I did appreciate about them both making it as light and relaxing as possible while filling you in the entire time of what was about to happen, happening and what to do after. I definitely recommend this place if an Epidural Injection is ordered by your Doctor and really appreciate Dr. Gauthier and crew for a lovely experience!

In 2008 I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Jordan. Since then I have had my right hip replaced in 2014 and both knees replaced in 2020. The office staff, Nurses and Physician Assistants are all very nice. Jordan Young Institute is a very large practice with specialists for all Orthopedic issues. I was referred to Jordan-Young Institute by a friend who was convinced they changed her life. From the first phone call to make an appointment, to my second follow up appointment with Dr. Babbington, I am satisfied. My first appointment was scheduled as soon as possible, after sharing my backstory and what I was looking for. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionists were very friendly, and told me to check in on the tablet. A super convenient, easy way to check in, pay your copay and get your insurance on file. Once I met with Dr. Babbington, I knew I was in good hands. His expertise and passion for what he does made me feel confident that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. He went over my prior imagining, talked possibilities, scheduled an injection and a follow up, and made a game plan. On my follow up appointment, Dr. Babbington and I had to talk about the surgical options that I have to think about. Knowing one of them is tough to get covered by insurance, he said he will do whatever he can do to try and can get it covered, so that I can have the best possible procedure and a better future ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing how the procedure goes.

After being diagnosed with severe arthritis in my right knee, I  started to explore alternatives to…read moretotal knee replacement and decided to have an initial free consultation at Rejuvinix in mid-June. Due to a minor knee surgery and a platelet injection a few weeks prior, I was advised I needed to wait at least four weeks post-operation before beginning treatment. I started my initial treatment in mid-July. The office environment is clean and well lighted, as expected from a medical facility. The front desk staff is consistently nice and professional. I haven't met a doctor on the premises, so I am unsure if one is regularly available. Overall, my experience has been stress-free for the most part.  During my first visit, I expected to receive my first gel injection. Instead, I received a Toradol shot, an NSAID for pain and inflammation. I was initially confused and was informed that patients typically receive 4-5 Toradol shots before starting the gel injections. After my second visit, as I prefer to minimize pain medication, I asked if the Toradol series was mandatory. I was then told it was recommended but not required.  Since most insurance does not cover the gel injection and this is an out of pocket expense I believe this distinction should be explained more clearly upfront, as other patients I've spoken with also seemed to be under the impression that the pain shot series was mandatory before starting the gel injections.  My treatment consisted of five weekly/bi-weekly gel injections. I began to feel a significant difference after the third injection, particularly with lunges and squats. The stiff, locking sensation I experienced during workouts improved considerably, and I've also noticed an improvement in my knee pain, though some discomfort remains. You can receive the series of gel injections every 6-12 months.   For those experiencing joint or arthritis pain, I would recommend researching Rejuvinix, with the understanding that individual responses to treatment can vary.

Their customer service, attention to detail, level of care and honestly they even greet you with a smile when you walk in. They go out of their way to ensure that you get the best level of care by listening to your complaint, asking you question to try to "pinpoint" the problem, doing a thorough exam (which unfortunately can be painful sometimes - just a PT thing I think), and then prior to you doing your "regiment" which they match to your issue explain the thoughts behind it as needed. I, unfortunately, have been a somewhat frequent flyer, here as of recent and they have always been nothing but excellent all around. SPT Southeastern Physical Therapy (Haygood)…read more My Experience . After seeing a series of specialists for almost two years, while attempting to find relief and or a diagnosis for my ongoing and increasing symptoms, my PCP referred me to Southeastern Physical Therapy Haygood-- Major Improvements! Major. Major. After only two (2) weeks. The first day, I was greeted by name with a warm smiling welcome from Shamecia at the front desk. Check-in and paperwork were handled with ease, care, and professionalism. That set the tone. Maricel, my Physical Therapist and the Clinic Director, is Totally Awesome! Absolutely. Amazing. She listened carefully to my litany of symptoms and asked important questions. She "got it"-- She understood, immediately, the stress of, daily, feeling helpless to make sense of increasing discomfort and pain. For a full year plus, I have consulted specialists: had scans, tests, x-rays, prescriptions...without a clear explanation for my ongoing, increasing, symptoms. I really believed ever-decreasing mobility was simply my new normal-- And the most I could hope for in keeping this appointment would be to learn to limp less and to better cover my distress. I don't believe that anymore. Nope. There is, definitely, something that I can do to restore my mobility and well-being. Maricel is a consummate professional, knowledgeable, skillful, resourceful, warm, and genuinely caring. She treats you as a whole person. The first session, she carefully assessed my gait and range of motion and outlined a personal plan of treatment. It is tailored specifically to getting me back to my fit level of mobility--without meds--or the frustrating discomfort and pain of the past year plus. She assured me, as I progressed, my plan would continue to be tweaked to reflect my changing needs. I was not alone. Her confidence in my body's ability to make the needed corrections is joyfully contagious! When I say there was Significant Physical Relief after my first session--just know, I smiled like an idiot all the way home. I am still smiling. Chris, my Physical Therapist Technician, is Great! He has a great sense of humor, is professional, knowledgeable, and has a great way of explaining and demonstrating new exercises. He is unhurried and always encouraging. He makes the exercises actually enjoyable. Each modality is explained with clarity and adjusted to meet my fitness goals and current level of ability. The treatment space at SPT Haygood is comfortable, clean, attractive, well-kept, and bright with natural light. At my second session, Maricel confirmed and more fully explained the underlying causes of my symptoms--and created a treatment plan for me that is working ~ Beautifully. The at-home exercises, for outside of my scheduled sessions, are effective, empowering, and immediate morale raisers. The staff at Southeastern Physical Therapy (SPT) Haygood is Committed, Professional, Knowledgeable, Caring, and Kind. The overall positive atmosphere -- lifts my spirits -- as I restore my body to optimal function. I was helped more in one session at SPT Haygood than I was able to achieve in well over a year of seeing other professional medical specialists. Southeastern Physical Therapy Haygood gets Highest Recommendations! ~It Works! : ) Thank You! - does not fully express my feeling of Gratitude. Best Regards, 18 January 2017
