I brought my sister with me for her first time, and things went downhill quickly. When we arrived, the woman there greeted us warmly and said we were her first customers of the day. However, once we started discussing services, everything changed. She called someone for help and, while on the phone, used a derogatory name to refer to us -- not once, but twice. My sister and I were both shocked and offended. After that, she tried to upsell us from the $130 couples massage we wanted to a $180 service with no added value, speaking very quickly and trying to rush us into a decision. Then she said we'd need to pay $20 more each for the "girls who were coming," which made no sense since it sounded like a forced tip. When I questioned it, she suddenly acted confused and pretended not to understand me. At that point, I realized she was trying to hustle us out of more money. When I said I didn't want the service and asked for my money back, she actually refused to give it to me at first. I had to raise my voice and demand it before she finally let go of my money. I left feeling completely disrespected and uncomfortable. I've never experienced such unprofessional and rude behavior. I will never return to Ruby Spa again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

It took us a month and a half to get an appt and she said she can only do one person at a time, so clearly she has no employees. She then texts us one hour before the appt and says she has an emergency. She asks us if we want to reschedule for 2 hours later than our original time (kind of weird if you just had an emergency but okay) then says, unless you want to do another day. Well considering we had to wait a month and a half we were going to take the next available time, 2 hours later. She texts us AGAIN to cancel right before the appt. I can't believe she had good reviews on Groupon. After looking on here and other places now I know. Beware!!! She's a scam! Edit: just noticed she told another negative reviewer this is "not her character" and she had a migraine. Actually, apparently it is because I've been reading other people say the same thing!
