Ive been a Trevi customer now for 26 years, The pool was purchased and installled 1998, since then it has been problem free, stable and we are very happy with it. The initial pool liner lasted 26 years before replacement. We contacted Trevi for the new liner 2024 and the installation was on time, and the technical staff did a fantastic replacement - All in a short timeframe, They started the job at 16:00 hrs to my surprise and it was in and being filled before dark. There was one slight issue which one year later became problematic. I contacted Trevi and they responded within a few days - They resolved the issue and there was no charge - respectably honouring the workmanship article. They did their best to minimize the amount of water by transfering it to a temp tank but being that I live in Ontario where water is not cheap - I absorbed that cost of the lost water - just glad they came and resolved the issue. Thank you Trevi, Technical team (Vince) for the followup we are very content overall and will continue to be Trevi customers. I cannot reflect on the state is other reviews, each their own but we have been happy with Trevi overall based on our own experience. MB. read more

I found that Trevi has a major customer service problem. The worst I have ever seen. Their pools have a warranty that decreases over time. That means the cost to repair problems will be high. I had a problem concerning Cedar used in the pool ledges rotting. The sides are in the ground and the worst place to put cedar. Even older pressure treated lumber cannot survive under ground without rotting. To verify if the cedar is rotten below the ground, the earth would have to be removed. An online complaint was listed under "Trevi is in troubled waters with it's wooden swimming pools." To get a correct answer on cedar one can ask any company that deals with wood like Goodfellow. Cedar is the best natural wood to fight rotting however it's use for pools is wrong and if it was right Trevi would not have discontinued installing cedar I would like to give them a zero. I would like to give them a zero. pools. What Trevi posts online about cedar is incorrect. They should have admitted the problem and fixed it. However they have not. I experienced an aggressive evaluator of the cedar pool in emails that based her answers on some photos I sent. They don't come to look at the pool in person. From what I experienced Trevi is trying to get out of properly servicing it's customers. That is against their code of ethics listed on "about us" on their webpage. From what I can see they will fight you. You will need to adhere to a warranty that gives you a percentage on you problem based on years you owned it. The resolution is expensive and is either replacement cedar or a composite that doesn't rot. Also note Trev emails contain a notice of Privacy warming about disclosure. The best solution with Trevi Fabrication Inc or others under them across Canada should be avoided. read more

DO NOT BUY A POOL FORM TRÉVI! Do your homework, read their POOL AFTER INSTALLATION customer service reviews. Crooks and bullies. They are able time and time again to not have to honour their product/installation warranty by blaming the client for negligence. Every time. Individuals even bring them to court. 1- Look here (SOQUIJ) : https://aide.soquij.qc.ca/s/article/trouver-une-decision-comment-formuler-les-recherches 2- enter TRÉVI as a keyword. Look at the court cases filed against them. Judges mostly rule AGAINST TRÉVI and for their clients. Their defence, regardless of the situation, is always "it's the client's fault/negligence/misuse". I am having issues with my 1.5 year old INDUSTRIA. My neighbours with their 0.7 year old FUTURA. Both our faults even if you do EVERYTHING BY THE BOOK. I have been to the store where I purchased the pool. Spoke to the manager. I have been going back and forth with customer service and all they have offered is that I pay them to move the problem (lowering a support strap that is making the bottom of my pool open) instead of actually fixing it and taking responsibility for a faulty product deign/manufacturing defect/installation. STAY AWAY! Buy your pool elsewhere. read more

Terrible experience as well. Currently in a build phase of in ground pool. Our contract with Trevi on this pool was slated for for Oct-2021 and we are now close to Jul-2022 and still not even near finished. This company main goal is to get the bank payment done by completing the payable steps first and then the remaining steps for in ground pool completion shall wait or in their excuse is delay due to weather for the past 30 days. It is utterly impossible to connect through their call line, and also their hired project manager continuously provides the same delay cause due to weather. I understand this summer weather hasn't been great but we it hasn't rained continuously for 30 days to continue installation. Trevi has over committed to projects at the expense of the consumer who has to wait very long time for the end product. SL read more

Bought a swimming pool 3 years ago. I should have read reviews before. Installation dates were not respected, it was installed 3 months later than promised. Since then I keep having problems with equipment and technicians on an average come two three weeks later. Last time they changed the lining and broke the jet and noone wants to come back to fix. Customer service is terrible. read more

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. Our kids have been begging for a pool for the past 4 years. So in May we took off on the hunt for a spa and above ground pool. We went into Trevi and were happy that they had pools available and installation would be done in a timer matter (club piscine had a lot of back orders) We decided on a gorgeous spa and 21ft above ground pool. So the problems started from the start. Our representative Gabriel gave us two options for fianancing. National bank (with a lower interest rate and payments start immediately) or FinanceIt (with a much highter interest rate but no payment for 1 year) We requested to go with National bank. We waited almost two weeks to find out if we were approved only to find out they never applied for financing with National Bank but instead used FiananceIt and the terms and conditions were MUCH higher than what they even stated in store. So back and forth for almost two weeks and hung up on THREE TIMES BECAUSE THEY DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH we ended up just accepting their conditions or else we wouldnt receive our order in time. We were already pushed back a week because of their mistake on financing. So the Spa was delievered without any issues on the date it was supposed to be delievered. The pool was to be delievered on the week June 17th with promise of intstallation the following week (June 24th). The backyard was prepped and ready. The grass was removed the lawn was flattened. The supplies for the pool were delievered the week of the 24th. Delievered at the bottom of the stairs in the only place in that area that still had lawn. Multiple calls have been made to Trevi and hours (I mean HOURS spent on hold to even be able to speak to anyone average 3 hours per call) My husband drove an hour to Trevi on Monday and spoke with the customer service representative who contracted the installation department while he was in store to be told we would have it installed by the end of this week (July 8th 2022) An email was sent from that representative (Salma Yahya) that if it wasn't installed by friday it would be returned for a full refund on Saturday (july 9th 2022). An email was sent from her to confirm she was on it and would make sure it would be done. Emailed her today once again because friday is tomorrow and received an automatic message stating she is out of the office on holidays. Called Trevi again. Waited 37 minutes on hold for someone to answer the phone. Transferred to installation and waited 47 minutes on hold for someone to answer only to be told again that it will not be installed this week. "Maybe" next week. I asked what our options are. Can we get someone privately to install it? We can but it voids all warranty. What happens if the parts don't work that have been sitting in boxes in the backyard for a month? They are not responsible for any of that once it's delievered its our responsibility and as per there contact they are no longer responsible. They also do not do any refunds once you have received the order it's final sale. So thanks Trevi Gatineau for the $10k lawn ornaments which may or may not be installed this summer. Which may or may not work properly anymore. So if you value customer service, if you value your hard earned money or if you are english. I highly recommend you shop anywhere besides Trevi Gatineau because they only care about their customers until the contract is signed and then everything is your problem afterwards. If you don't believe me feel free to check out their 176 1 star reviews online. Hindsight truly is 20/20. read more

I'm not even the one getting a pool!! But the noise and absolute mess they've left in front of *my* house for the past TWO WEEKS is horrible. They've started working at 6:30am (illegally), park their truck entirely blocking my driveway, back their dump trucks up against all the neighborhood cars within a foot while they drop huge loads of dirt- I'm not happy, and have never had this kind of an issue when other neighbors have had their own pools done. read more

Had a pool installed by Trevi in August 2018 -bought pool in May 2018 promised installation by beginning of June. Pool installers arrived August 18, cordial, polite and efficient. Used pool for the rest of August and closed pool my self since I have been a pool owner for 15 years and the pool being replaced was a Trevi pool that was there for 15 years so was accustom . Spring 2019 pool has buckled and liner torn in 4 places... I figure pool under warranty... pool used for a month... Trevi says no and its a write off and I was to call my insurance, this all from the Dorval location... no one came bye to assess until I insisted. So their inspector came by and within seconds said they could do nothing .. make an insurance claim, Insurance said yea no...pool cost 5000$ used 15 times. Out 5000$ No Pool and TREVI not responsible wtf... sharing on this 2 year Anniversary read more

My experience at the Dorval Trevi location - you be the judge. We sat down with their salesperson, Alexandre, to get a quote for an in-ground pool. Once all the bells and whistles were chosen, we were told that a $2000 deposit would "reserve" our spot in the schedule for mid-June (and of course we were warned that spots were filling up quickly). I explained that there were some unknowns about the property that we would need to confirm (septic system, municipal bylaws, permits, etc) and he assured us that the deposit would be refunded if the permit was not issued by the city. Within six days we found out that in fact the pool could not be built in the spot we had planned due to the septic system and immediately alerted Alexandre by email to ensure it was noted in writing that we would not be able to obtain the city permit and expected our deposit to be refunded, as promised. No answer to a subsequent email and voice message the following day. We drove to the Dorval store and went directly to the Manager on site, Matthieu, who was unempathetic, explaining that we "signed a contract" and no refund would be possible even after we told him that we were assured by his salesperson that the deposit would be refunded if the city would not issue the permit. We were stunned by his position. We pushed further, and he claimed he needed to speak to the salesperson himself but was leaving in an hour and that the salesperson was "busy" so he wouldn't be able to interrupt him before he had to leave. We felt clearly that he simply wanted to get rid of us. A few hours later the salesperson, Alexandre calls to say that it would not be possible to get a refund on the deposit without the official refusal from the city. We explained that we would not file for a permit KNOWING THAT WE WOULD NOT BE APPROVED. He was immovable. I insisted that Matthieu or another store manager contact me to discuss. Considering the magnitude of these purchases, I am stunned by their shortsightedness and lack of integrity: they would rather keep the $2000, lose a client for life (and maybe more as we plan to tell everyone we know about this experience) than honor their word and possibly do business together again in the future with us and everyone we would tell the otherwise positive story to. Let's see how Trevi responds to a challenge on their business ethics and integrity. Stay tuned for how it all ends. read more

Worst customer service after sale. Built an in-ground pool and used their services for opening and closing. Until one year for the opening I see a young teenager with his own pick-up truck (outsourced of course). He did a terrible job opening the pool and my water looked like a cesspool days after opening. He obviously did not shock it properly. I called to complain, and they simply took his word over mine, without even sending a technician to check the work and test the water even after I asked them. I had to call Club Piscines and pay again for a proper shock treatment. Trevi just takes your money and leaves you hanging if you ave any problems or complaints. Worst pool company ever! Deal with Club Piscines or anyone else other than them. Terrible company! read more

The wife had a dream, an in-ground swimming pool for our backyard. With an infant, our expectation of going on vacation for the next few years were pretty slim, so we decided to bring the vacation to us instead! We visited to Trevi in early-May and looked at the nice setups they had on showcase. After speaking with a vendor who sold us the "dream", my wife quickly went for it. They paraded us to a variety of finance people and asked us questions that rivaled the Spanish Inquisition but in the end... we prevailed. The purchase was complete. The sales guy shakes my hand and tells me the project coordinator will contact me when it's time to start the setup and take care of my needs. It started off well, with a plan architect showing up barely 48 hours later and taking down the measurements of our backyard. He was young, intelligent and polite. He took care of us. A great start. Then we waited slightly over a month before we finally got a call, the parts are here and delivery is scheduled for the next day. Now being in mid-June and an unbearable heat wave, the pool couldn't come soon enough. Delivery was made with a nervous delivery driver making sure I checked off EACH AND EVERY ITEM ON THE LIST which left me cautious and puzzled. Then no news, for over 2 weeks, while my garage was full to the brim with boxes of things for the pool. We called several times to inquire what is going on, nearly 7 weeks since we signed for the pool. If this was Florida, I wouldn't care about the delay but being a few days short of July, with our short summers we get... it was time to start knocking on some doors. In-ground pools take 1-2 weeks to be built. We shot out a few e-mails to select people wondering what was going on. Thankfully we did because a few days later the work finally started. I quickly realized once the project started that Trevi mostly deals with contractors for ever single facet of the job. One contractor will be excavating, one contractor will setting up the pool parts, another contractor will pour the cement, another contractor will setup the electrical devices and another contractor will setup the pool for the customer.... needless to state, a lot of people who in no way or form interact with each other daily and just do what they need to do. If a project coordinator was supposed to contact us to keep its principal stakeholder up to speed, that wasn't done. Everything seemed awkward with 1-2 day delays (not because of weather) as the work went on slowly. Someone did call us a few times but kept feeding us the wrong information which made it even more confusing. Such and such will be there tomorrow morning but they showed up in the afternoon instead or the electrician will show up on Thursday but does so next Tuesday after we contacted him directly on Friday because the person who told me he'll be there on Thursday encouraged ME to contact HIM to see his availability? So much for a turn-key solution. In general, the contractors did a reasonably good job except for a really huge mistake where one of the cement guys had an accident with half a wheel-barrel of cement spilling inside the pools which was full of water. 5 pool clean-ups, 4 new filters and 2 weeks later we were finally able to use the pool in late July, over 2 months after we signed up for the pool. The final product is however without issue, the pool is aesthetically beautiful, we're enjoying it very much (weather permitting!) and maintenance is a breeze so far. The quality is there but the road it took to get there needs a lot more work. Expect this when dealing with Trevi. read more

I am absolutely disgusted by the awful service by Trevi, my spa is Brand New, not even a year old and it's already broken(COMPUTER SPA BROKE). The Trevi technician came and LEFT without fixing my problem, promised it would be fixed before the end of the week and now is cancelling on me saying he has no time and maybe next week, I cannot get a straight answer. I have never seen such horrible service in my life, I will not be recommending them to ANYONE! Very disappointment and if I knew this would be the outcome I would never have purchased from Trevi! read more

Worst experience ever with Trévi Dix-30, Brossard! Once you sign a contract with them, they ask for a full payment more than two months before they install your pool, and then they deliver an incomplete order. Beware: their CS reps are working on comission, so if yours is on vacation, no one will touch your account. In Trevi's case, bottom line trumps customer satisfaction. They seem to forget that once your pool is installed, you can always get the maintenance business elsewhere, so they do not appear to be keen in keeping their customers. I will definitely not choose Trévi again. read more

Just look at the other reviews and you will understand that I am not alone in thinking that this is a horrible company. Avoid TREVI like the plague for big ticket items. Here is my experience on an item (pool heat pump) that costs over 6,000$. First, the salesman never explained to me that I would have to put a 220 V outlet. My previous Turcotte heat pump one did not require one. The cost because of how far the electric box was reached 2500$. At installation time, they removed the old heat pump but would not take it away: I had to arrange for this! Since I had an old pump, the base had tilted over the years and I could not adjust until the removal of the old pump. They did not give me time to adjust and installed the new one "tilted". I could not believe it and begged them to adjust it: to no avail. I then called the Manager of Trevi (Mme Viviane Moreau and here is what she said to me verbatim. I had to make her repeat it twice, as I could not believe my ears: "Le client est responsable de signifier son insatisfaction, après l'installation"!! She absolutely refused that the 2 workers spend any time leveling the heat pump. I later on hired a person to level it, as the pipes were short and stiff and I risked breaking them. It took him 5 minutes. Will I ever buy anything from Trevi? No way. Beware, go somewhere else. I myself run a small high-tech corporation and if I ran it like Trevi, I would have been bankrupt by now. read more

October 27th I called Trevi to set up an appointment for them to come and open our jacuzzi. We had closed it in October 2020 due to a personal situation which now allowed us to be able to open it again in October of this year. Trevi took my payment and said that due to the number of requests for closings they could not give me a specific date but that they would be coming the week of November 10th. The week of November 10th came and I had not heard from Trevi since they took my payment on October 27th. I called them on November 10th which was a Wednesday and wanted to know the status. The person I spoke to said they still had 3 days to show up and that I would be receiving an email 48 hours before their arrival. I was surprised that they worked on the weekend however they confirmed that they had until end of day on Saturday to show up. No one came and I did not receive an email notifying me of any change. I called them again on Monday, November 15th in the morning to verify the situation of the opening of my hot tub. I was reassured by the person I spoke to that they were behind in the appointments and that this was the final week for opening the hot tub but that they would be coming and I was in their system. They also mentioned again that I would receive an email 48 hours before their arrival. The week went by and still no one reached out to me. I called back again on Saturday, November 20th since this was the last day that they would be able to open the spa. The person I spoke to mentioned that they could also be coming on Sunday. I was surprised because I didn't think they worked Sundays and they said that they are now working Sundays as well. Again they told me I would get a call before their arrival. I said that I was told that the week of the 20th was the last week to open the spas and the woman I spoke to told me I was misinformed. She said that they would be serving all of the client requests. They told me to wait for their email. I called back on Thursday, November 25 as I had still not heard from them. I mentioned that I was now getting concerned about the weather and if they would be able to open my hot tub. The woman I spoke to said that there would be no issue with the weather for opening my hot tub but that she would speak to the technicians who handle the opening and have them call me back. Shortly after I hung up, I did not receive a call but I did receive an email with the appointment details indicating that Trevi would be coming on Monday, November 29th to open the jacuzzi. On the Monday it was snowing and the temperature was -6 degrees Celsius. I had an appointment scheduled for later in the afternoon and wanted to make sure I would be home for when Trevi arrived in case any issues arose. I called Trevi to try and get an idea of when they were coming. I explained the situation to the lady on the line and she told me to wait on the line while she verified with the technicians to see where they were. When she came back on the phone she explained that they would not be able to come because the weather was too cold and she said the technicians would be coming on Wednesday, December 1 instead. She then informed me that I would need to provide the technicians with 2 space heaters in order to assist them with the opening of the spa. Since I do not own space heaters, I asked if these would be paid for by Trevi and she said no these are essential pieces that as a spa owner I should have on hand at all times. I mentioned that if they needed equipment to be able to do a job that was requested back at the end of October and that they are only able to get to now that I will not be responsible for purchasing any equipment for it. December 1st around 2 pm Trevi showed up however our hose was left outside for them to be able to use and as result had freezes up and hard for them to use. The technician that showed up was nice enough to reschedule for first thing the following day to allow us to be able to warm up the hose. He came first thing the following morning and opened the spa. I then went to do a water test at the Trevi store in Boucherville at 2pm on December 3rd. The store was empty. I went to the analysis station and there was no one there so I went to speak to a man sitting at a desk in the middle of the store and explained that I was there for a water test. He told me the service is only available as of 3pm during the week so I left and came back at 3. There was a young boy doing the water tests and I asked him about the change in times. He said that there was no change in times and that some times his manager (and pointed to the same man I spoke to earlier) even does them. I told him that that was the same man who informed me of the change in time and he just said he guessed he was busy. I just continue to be disappointed by the service this store offers. It is extremely frustrating. We enjoy our spa but the quality of service is horrendous. read more

Service wasn't pleasant. a lot of pressure to sell, and bad after sales service. unmet promised and very bad appointments to install. I feel I was fooled I had a leak from the pool this year and apparently it was because a piece of the light was broken, I asked for service. I went to Trevi store and asked if I need to buy the any parts for the light before the tech shows in my house and was told that he has every thing. he comes in and changes the plastic piece that is causing the leaking. blame it on closing the pool and says winter damage warantee doesn't include lights. I asked him to fix the lights he said he deosnt' have the parts. now after 2 years my lights are off and they are both broken this will cost 500$ only peices. I ask trevi to come finish fixing the light and what I get is a lady screaming on me on the phone saying that I have to pay two labour visits one for half of the light and one for the other half because they visited me twice. I explained to her that it should be the same claim because the broken light causing the leaking is the one that is off but she kept screaming and threatening me to take my account to collection and hold my warrantee until I pay. I do not understand why is this happening and why I am being treated this way is it because I am stuck and my pool is already paid for? I paid 17000$ for a good luxurious semi-in-ground not for a yearly trouble and bad service. I didn't agree that the lights should be off warrantee because I was told everything and the sales guy stressed on everything and usually I am obsessed with warrantee when I pay a lot. even that I didn't agree I told them I would pay for one service not 2 and they didn't agree they won't send a tech to finish the job. Also, I have learned that one light is enough and does the same job as one. The lights I bought before 2 years are now too old and no body buys them. Just do not trust Trevi's sales people. read more

Buyer beware and anyone interested in maintaining a good credit score steer clear. The sales and Customer serivce when buying and signing the pool were great. Alexi in Boucherville was helpful and polite. HOwever I started questioning answers I was being given as 2 different Trevi locations were giving me different answers on delivery and possible depth. I assumed that had more to do with what store wanted the sale more so I didnt think much about it. I received a call and email an hour after signing at the store for a Customer service Survey. Following that the very next day I had another call setting up the appointment for the designer to come and take the measurements for the pool. All this took place on a Wednesday and Thursday. By Monday we had no decision on financing so I called only to be told they had not heard from National Bank yet. So I called the pool designer and cancelled my appointment as I wasnt going to miss anytime from work if I wasnt going to be approved. When I spoke with the lady, she was almost giving me crap for cancelling, but again, why miss time from work when no financing decision has been made. I placed a call on Tuesday and Wednesday to the credit department only to be told no decision had been made. At this point we decided to cancel the request and the pool and re-think things. I received a call on the Thursday telling me I was approved with another finance company and the only difference were the terms, shorter, and the interest, higher. I promptly declined that option and again asked to cancel my contract. I then received a call from the credit department shortly after offering me the original financing with the National bank, but that I had to provide pay stubs for my wife and I. I also quickly declined this offer. For some background, my wife and I are in our 40's, own our home, cars, weekend getaway place and both have been at ours jobs with good salaries for years as well as excellent credit bureaus. There would be no need for pay stubs or anything else so I again requested they cancel by contract and financing request. I received two other texts and voice mail messages from the salesman and the credit department over the weekend following up asking for my pay stubs? I decided to enjoy the weekend, not in a pool, and figured they would get the hint after having asked to cancel 5 times already. Tuesday arrives and I receive another voice mail message again from Trevi credit asking me now for pay stubs and last 2 years of tax returns? For what??? I have cancelled! So I call and again to the credit department to explain that I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED IN YOUR POOL! only to be told that they cannot canel the request and contract, but that I had to go see the salesman direct??? So I email the salesman and the credit department requesting my contract and request be cancelled. I receive a reply from the sales manager explaining that the requests are from National bank and not Trevi and to please send him the paperwork required so they can continue with my pool. WHAT POOL? I CANCELLED IT 6 TIMES by this point. So I reply back and copy the owner of Trevi pools requesting the number at the National bank so I can make sure my request is cancelled. Instead of getting the number I got a reply from the sales manager saying my contract is cancelled. YAY! Finally! Success! Shortly after I receive an email from the Director of Finance detailing the timeline of events, which were all wroong, again offering the second chance credit, or for me to send in my pay stubs and income tax from the last two years. At this point I decided to call the National bank direct to ensure that all requests for me had been cancelled, and replied to the finance director requesting in writing that all credit verifications had been stopped and requesting the number at the National bank. So far no reply from Trevi confirming my request and contract has been cancelled and I have been on hold for the National bank 42 minutes. Great Customer service! I will update this review with the outcome after I have verified my own personal credit report and will let everyone know how many times they did a verification, and to let you all know if I ever managed to get the National bank on the phone and/or cancel my contract with Trevi! read more

Triste !! read more
