I was recommended to Trusty by a friend who had used them twice on different appliances. I had an issue with my 7+yo Samsung Washer- it wasn't emptying some of the water after the rinse cycle. When Lisa returned my voicemail she was friendly, asked good questions about the problem, etc. After showing Pett the issue he first checked the filter and was surprised to find it totally clean. What impressed this non-mechanical guy was that he explained everything he was doing as he checked this and that. Long story short, after running the machine through a quick cycle he figured out that it was a touch-pad issue. Somehow the "no spin" button & light were turned off. He took time to explain to me what he was doing each time and then helped me learn how to recalibrate my oven later if needed.. Our 5 year old microwave oven suddenly stopped working. My wife heard a pop sound just before it quit. The microwave is built into a cabinet above the oven. A quick call to Trusty Appliance Repair was answered by Lisa, who quickly scheduled an appointment and asked for a photo of the microwave model & serial number. Pett was able to diagnose the problem as a faulty control board and ordered a new one. He patiently explained why the microwave had stopped working and how soon the replacement part would be available. After a week, the part arrived and Pett installed it quickly. Our microwave oven stopped heating again, and, of course, it was on a Saturday evening. We called Trusty Appliance Services that night and left a message. Early Monday morning we got a call back and were able to set up an appointment for that afternoon. Pett arrived as scheduled and he and a coworker diagnosed the problem. The magnetron had failed again. This time Pett had the part on his truck, so he and the coworker replaced it. The work was done quickly and neatly, and the oven works fine once more. This is the third time we have used Trusty Appliance Services and each time I have been impressed with the level of service we received, not to mention the reasonable cost. I was so pleased with Trusty Appliance Service. From the prompt call back from Lisa who was so pleasant and helpful to get my job scheduled to Pett the service person who was so professional and kind. My dog liked him immediately which kind of shocked me as she barks at everyone. Pett got to work right away on stovetop which had a bad ignition starter on it. It sparked when he tried to turn it on and it popped which made me jump. He took it all in stride and was so calming. He ordered the parts for it and some new parts for dishwasher. We have an older Whirlpool Microwave/Oven combo in our wall. We weren't sure how long we had it but knew it was at least 15 years old or more. Pett came out to assess the problem. My husband and I thought we might have to replace the whole thing. We had to do that before. Pett quickly diagnosed the problem and took the offending part and had it shipped to be rebuilt. It was 8 days before Thanksgiving it took less than 3 weeks to get the part back and installed. Even though the part is only guaranteed for a year, he still was able to save us at least $2500 if we would have had to buy a new appliance. By far the very best customer experience I have ever encountered. Lisa and Pett at Trusty Appliance Service went well out of there way to resolve our refrigerator issues - rapidly and effectively. As the owners and sole operators of their company, they provided a customer service experience second to none, and placed a keen focus on customer service and support, far beyond the norm. Pett was excellent with his diagnosis of our refrigerator problem, but even before this repair was made, Lisa provided me with detailed problem solving feedback to help me fix the issue on my own, which was far beyond the call of duty, in my personal opinion. She even went as far as to check up on me after the attempted fix that she offered, which was simply exceptional. With 3 separate service calls, Pett and Lisa only charged for 1 service call, and they did not accept payment until the job was complete. This included ordering parts before the job began. Coalesce this with ultra prompt on time arrivals with text updates from Lisa on when Pett would be arriving, Trusty Appliance S was stellar in every respect. There is something to be said about this level of professionalism and customer care. Had a secondary issue arise with our 10 year old Samsung refrigerator, along with an issue with our gas dryer, which actually had a minor internal fire take place due to some much needed maintenance. Just as before, Pett took an in depth diagnosis with both issues, and located the problems that we were experiencing. Taking great care and the necessary time to properly remedy the problems, he was able to resolve both issues, explaining the issues to my wife and I so we could avoid future issues with our dryer. As for our refrigerator, this was solved with an out of production part, which Pett was able to locate via eBay, savings us from a possible non repairable refrigerator due to the age of our unit. Quite the relief! I cannot overstate the level of customer service and care both Pett and Lisa provide. As a former customer service supervisor, I am very familiar when it comes to going the extra mile for the customer, and both Pett and Lisa personify these characteristics in every interaction they offer. Had a great experience with Trusty Appliance Services (Lisa & Pett). Lisa correctly diagnosed our GE refrigerator's problem over the phone. Pett came and knew right away what to do. Our problem didn't need a new part; he cleaned it up and it's working great. We had a little scheduling mixup when we made the appointment, so Pett started fixing things and then came back later to finish the job when we were back home. We discussed another minor problem; he knew what to do, and even looked up the part and told us the price for when we're ready to get that done.
