Only problem is, I didn't want her shaved down. I took her in the first time and he told me that she had some deep mats and that he couldn't get his blade comb through her fur. He didn't charge me for the bath but said I could work on the mats and bring her back and he would try to groom her again. I have groomed my own dogs for 20 years and I never shaved them down once. I worked on her deep mats for over an hour two different times to be sure she was mostly mat free. I was able to get a metal grooming comb and a blade comb through her legs and ears with ease when I brought her to him. He called me and told me that he still couldn't get his blade comb through her legs and that her paws were matted too. I told him to do the best he could. Well it wasn't anything but a lazy groomer try. Shaved her down to a quarter of an inch all over her body, legs and ears. My wife absolutely freaked when she saw our previously gorgeous Cockapoo which actually looks like a miniature Golden Doodle. She said "I hate that man" and was practically in tears. I took her there because I heard he did a lot of doodles. In my opinion, he is a lazy groomer that just wants the job to be as easy as possible for himself so that he can do more grooming jobs. Guaranteed, she's never going back to Bloomintails Pet Spa again. Thank goodness my other Cockapoo had a bad back or I would have had 2 shaved dogs

That's part of your 12 minutes, and that's my biggest problem. The 12 minutes is supposed to cover washing, drying, and cleaning up. Who is washing and drying their dog in 12 minutes? I had to pay $24 just to have enough time to dry her. The time doesn't pause if you turn off the water or dryer. Unless you're doing a quick, half-ssa bath, it's not the place to go. Other places are better. My dog is short, about 50 pounds, built like a bulldog, and has short hair--and that still wasn't enough time.

This is especially noticeable when you pull up and your dog can't wait to get out of the car and doesn't want to leave when you go to pick them up. All I have to say is "daycare" in the morning and my pups is waiting by the door, tail wagging. The facility offers outdoor running areas, covered areas, inside areas (with heat in the winter), and someone out playing with them the entire time. The rate for daycare (drop off as early as 7am and pick up as early as 6pm) is super reasonable ($22), and they also offer bulk packages. Boarding is also offered for only $30/day - this includes one day of daycare and an overnight - but you must already be a regular daycare participant (since they'll be with all the other puppers throughout the day). If you give them an opportunity, you're guaranteed to love Happy Yap and your pups will love you for taking them.

A future date for daycare was then arranged. Upon arrival for drop off, my daughter inquired if there were any aggressive dogs in the groups. She was informed that yes in fact there are several aggressive dogs on site. My daughter informed them that her dog is well socialized and does great with all dogs, but does not like to be bullied by aggressive dogs. Can you please put her into a group that does not contain the known aggressive dogs? She was immediately and rudely dismissed and told to leave the property! Wait what? So you will take in a known aggressive dog, but when an owner asked that you not place their pet with those known aggressive dogs you are rude and unprofessional?? I would think that you would be looking out for all of the pets under your care and would take measures to keep known aggressive dogs away from the other pets! Instead you cancel the daycare which had been carefully planned out which caused plans to have to be scrapped for the customer and the non aggressive pet! Do yourself a favor and before your pet gets hurt by one of the known aggressive dogs that are allowed to run unchecked in this facility take your pet anywhere else but here!
