I intentionally waited three weeks to fully assess the system and the water quality it produces both for general use and the drinking/cooking water it produces via the included 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis System. (Note: When the system was installed, I still had a 50-gallon water heater that was full of non-filtered/non-treated water, so I wanted to give it time to cycle the untreated water out of the water heater to fully assess the system. I could have immediately drained the water heater and let it fill with treated water, but this is El Paso, Texas so why waste precious water.) Do keep in mind though that the cold water taps in the house immediately started producing the treated and purified water. And to this date I will tell you that we are totally pleased with the entire process of getting the system installed and the overall quality of our water which has improved tremendously. You immediately feel the difference in the water being softer and cleaner when using the tap water for washing, bathing, or laundry. You also immediately notice how little soap is required to produce a good lathering when washing anything or showering/bathing. I also want to give "Kuddos" to the Owner/Operator of "The Good Water Guy" (Andy) who came to my house and provided me with an outstanding thirty minute briefing which included the testing and analysis of the existing water coming out of our taps. Although the El Paso Water System meets the standard and does provide potable water, I was in awe of how hard the water is and how much sediment it contained. Andy was a true professional in all sense of the word and took the time to explain the results of each of the test he performed. He also took the time to explain the entire process the water would go through once connected to the Ten Stage Purity Bay Whole Home Water Filtration System. Andy also left me with a brochure so that I could, should I want to, research the internet and double check anything or everything regarding what he had told me about the system. And when it came time to install the system he worked efficiently and expeditiously installing the entire system in under two hours. This included cleaning of the workspaces (post installation) and checking all the connections to insure there weren't any immediate leaks. I was with him the entire time and was impressed with his knowledge, skills, and ability to connect the system to an existing water-loop in the garage. He also, very politely, answered all my questions as he went along with the installation. Upon the completion of the installation Andy requested that for 24 hours, I keep a look out for any leaks from any of the connections, but assured me he didn't think any would occur. But if they did he would immediately come out and correct the leak. To this date there haven't been any leaks from any of the connections, however within 24 hours the reverse osmosis tap/faucet started leaking from the vicinity of the on/off handle. Apparently it had a faulty internal seal and came like that from the factory (it happens). I called Andy and he immediately scheduled a service call and was here with 4 hours of me making the call. And rather than repair the faucet, Andy just totally replaced it with a new one and it corrected the problem. In summary: Great system! Great company! And great all-around service!! Additionally, apart from having to add a bag of salt crystals to the system every couple of months (dependent on your water usage) this is a "totally" hands off system that is self-cleaning and self-regenerating. I high recommend "The Good Water Guy", the Ten Stage Purity Bay Whole Home Water Filtration System and the 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System.

I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I've tried to be patient throughout this process, but I…read morefeel it's important to share my experience. My appointments were rescheduled six different times, which made things difficult to coordinate. When the work was finally completed, it was unfortunately left incomplete, and the water softener system itself stopped working after about a year. Recently I tried reaching out simply to see if someone could stop by to look at the issue. I called multiple times and did not receive an answer or a call back. When I finally did get through, the call was ended abruptly, and shortly after it appeared that my number had been blocked, which made it impossible to continue trying to resolve the issue. I'm not writing this out of anger, but out of disappointment. As a customer who paid for the service, I hoped for communication and a willingness to stand behind the work that was done. I sincerely hope the company improves how it handles customer concerns in the future, because good communication and accountability go a long way in building trust with people.
