Premier Marine is the best. My boat wouldn't start despite changing a blown fuse. Aaron Davis,…read morethe owner, was able to get me in quickly despite being very busy. for a quick diagnostic. He was hoping he could diagnose and quickly fix my boat so I wouldn't have to wait the three weeks for an open spot. Within 20 mins he had determined my problem was a bad relay. He didn't have one in stock so he sent me to a local automotive parts store to get one, which I did and installed it myself. Everything is now back to normal. Aaron didn't win my business that day as he already had, but he further solidified my opinion that Premier Marine is one of the best, highest quality, and honest boat repair places I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend them. One thing that was different from the last time I had an issue and needed Premier Marines services, is email communication. When I called I got a VM message that directed me to send an email rather than leaving a VM. I did and it was promptly answered. We had an exchange of five or six emails over the course of a couple hours. Easy and convenient to communicate with and a nice way to have a record of all that was discussed.

I have an older 1997 Sea Ray, so some of the little things I had been looking over, but Aaron just took care of them. Also, my neighbor across the street has a fishing boat with a Mercury 90, and turns out he did great and fairly priced work last year for him as well. Next time I have a problem, no question I will be back. Thanks Aaron.

Either way, it was a huge letdown when I tried to buy a used boat from them off there Facebook listing, posted by staff supervisor Frankie. Posting was listed as a 2007 Searay 240 for $16,800.00 . Since I live over 300 miles away, I called and spoke with Frankie, who told me I should put down $500 to secure the sale and I better do it quick since there's a lot of other people on-site looking at it. As soon as I paid the $500 the same day the ad on Facebook was switched to a 1997 with no apology to myself about misrepresentation. I asked him to send me more pictures of the boat, specifically the engine and any service records, along with a delivery quote, which was a service they can provide. I was told he would, but I never received anything after several days. I called Frankie, after several days of no response and he told me he is putting the boat on auction instead we'd be better off not buying this boat . Since this was totally shady I requested my deposit returned, which I did receive . Later I checked their website and found they Re-listed the boat for over $23,000 dollars ! Germain marina sales person Frankie I found was very dishonest and probably shouldn't work at a boat dealership... . So buyers beware!

I was understanding and nice about it, realizing things happen and mistakes are made. I still gave shop a good review. They put in writing via email that they'd make it right and replace motor. I was relieved and didn't give things much more thought after that. Before new, 2nd replacement motor came in they even mentioned on phone and apologized for forgetting to charge me sales tax of $500.00. I told them I'd stop by and pay it when in the area again which I did. After that, same Maine non OEM repair shop later denied me service requiring me to take my RZR to a Polaris dealer which set me back over $700.00. The shop obviously found out after promising me a motor that Rev 6 wouldn't comp them for labor on second engine install so I got the shaft and the bill. Yesterday, my second Rev 6 motor came apart from no oil at only 1300 miles. Easy, mid 50's non mud, rail bed riding. My adult friend was riding it with his young daughter and I had to tow him back to camp. Awful day. I called Rev 6 and the rep said, "well you did get 1300 miles". The first Rev 6 engine stopped starting at 800 or so miles and second Rev 6 engine died at 500. 1300 miles total on 2 bad Rev 6 Motors. I almost didn't know what to say when he said that. He then just hung up on me. I was very surprised too by how I was always adding oil to my second newly rebuilt motor. I even paid the extra $600.00 for the added 20 HP. Today they emailed saying "we regret to inform that you are past the warranty period." That is correct but the motor was bad day one, blew oil and in principle should be replaced out of good faith. This machine was my back up and got used very little after the SECOND Rev 6 motor was installed. It was a total nightmare getting two motors installed and now with nothing to show for it. Owning my own business, I would never do this to a customer even if it cost me money. My good reputation means more to me. This company cost me thou$and$ when I could have put that hard earned money toward a new machine or real OEM motor from a Polaris dealer that would have gone to bat for me. Really disappointed with Rev 6. Two badly rebuilt motors sent to me and no recourse unless I pursue legal. Hold onto your money and just put it towards another ATV with a real warranty. Hope this helps someone, thanks for listening!

Then said the seized cable was all repaired. Got to the lake and the steering was worse than when the boat was dropped off. We did a whole steering replacement on the lake. I was unemployed at the time with no money, the boat motor was my retired dad's who was trying to pay some medical bills. We could have sold the motor with a diagnostic as is, I had to borrow money from family members to get it out. I question it even needed most of the work done as other than not being run for a few years, it had been meticulous winterized and cared for since new. Complaining to management when picked up got me nothing but deadpan and a sour look. We now use Dick's marine in Layton for all our needs. At least no deadpan, sour looks and flippant attitudes.
