This fall, we have been to two birthday parties at SkateWorld, and I think they were significantly superior to the party at United Skates. Better neighborhood (no metal detector), easy skate rentals, easier check in. Food was similarly bad (looking - I didn't taste), but there were more options to order if you wanted something other than pizza (they had wings, sandwich platters, etc.). If my daughter decides on a skating party in the future, we'll be coming to SkateWorld rather than returning to United Skates. My only concern is the parking situation. There's no problem for the Sunday parties, but on a Saturday, there really isn't enough parking for the venue capacity.
