The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a good variety of items to keep you from having to go to big box store.

Showcase Design Kitchen and Bath Renovations

Showcase Design Kitchen and Bath Renovations

I am ecstatic with my kitchen and bath remodeling projects that Showcase Design did for me. I…read moreneeded new countertops, backsplash, sink/faucet, and lighting in my kitchen, plus a new glass shower in one bathroom and wallpaper removal and painting in another. From the minute I stepped into the Showcase Design showroom and was met by Cassie, I was treated as if I were their number-one priority, all the way to the finish. Cassie is the greatest as their frontline rep. She is pleasant, professional, and patient. Jill and Frank, the owners, are extremely knowledgeable with many years of experience, and both are a treasure to work with. Frank and his crew came out to the house and took measurements, and one of the best parts is that they showed up on time! This is often a rarity in the service industry these days, so I greatly appreciated that. All of the people on their team, including Jeff, who did the shower glass, Paul, the electrician, J.C., who did the backsplash, Ron, the painter, the countertop crew -- everyone -- were personable, very experienced, and a pleasure to work with. The countertops were installed in just one day, and the backsplash took only two. The wallpaper removal and painting took a while, as we were told it would, but otherwise the whole process was flawless. I love these people. One of the hallmarks of their business is the personal touch brought on by Jill, the owner, who practically lives on her email in order to give customers immediate feedback and answers. Nights, weekends, it did not matter. Jill treated me as if a red carpet had been rolled out, and she addressed every topic with cheerful helpfulness. Best of all was how thorough and patient she was, and I'm here to tell you that this counted for a lot since there were over 100 email exchanges on these projects! She's great. I'm one of those highly detailed ("picky") people who likes to have things be just right, and Showcase Design never missed a mark. I had started out getting a quote from another local company (I won't name names), but I received a cold reception as they constantly told me, almost as if bragging, about how they were too busy to help me, with no indication that I would ever be able to get on their schedule. All I wanted was an initial consultation and to get on their schedule for the future, no matter how far off. I felt I was being pretty lenient (I mean, how many of their customers walk in the door and say I'm not in any sort of rush?), given that I came in during the summer and was asking for a January start date. But because I was treated coldly, I looked elsewhere. How lucky I was to come upon the great reviews of Showcase Design of Apex! Everything in my baths and kitchen looks great -- from the frameless glass shower, the wallpaper removal and painting, the white glossy subway tile backsplash, the wonderful stainless sink and faucet, to the crowning glory, the Silestone Calacatta Gold quartz countertops -- just breathtaking. I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend Showcase Design, and Jill, Frank, Cassie, and all their crew, for your next renovation/remodel project.

We had new…read morequartz countertops, new backsplash and new sink/faucet placed and also had our split level island demoed to have one big island. From the first day they came to give us a quote they showed up on time and continued to be on time or EARLY. Everyone of the contractors, tile guys, plumbers, counter guys were friendly and detail oriented. Cannot recommend them enough. We love our new kitchen and will continue to use them for any future kitchen or bathroom work!

He gave my husband and me the gift of the installation of a custom fold-down cutting board where a rickety fold-down ironing board used to be. This, of course, was totally his idea because he's creative like that. The cutting board is beautiful, solid, and functional, adding 30% more surface area to our kitchen. It's far superior to the ironing board that was there previously. He used top notch parts, sourced from specialty cabinet makers, to construct it. Ian was also timely and cleaned up after himself. I would feel confident hiring Ian for bigger projects, as I have seen him helping his former employer (my Dad) build bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and more. Sure, I may be his sister, but I'm his older sister and thus prone to harsh judgement... so you know you can trust my review, and Ian with all of your handyman needs.

Ian reframed our space and created a luxurious corner shower complete with an inset shelf for shampoo. His tiling job was excellent! He also thought to create a handy door to a water shut off that will be a huge help if we have issues in the future! Despite having a full bath steps from our bedroom, my husband and I both shower in the basement now, enjoying our spa-like retreat from Hilltop Renovations! Ian was a considerate worker while in our home. He took care of our living spaces by laying drop cloths and covering furniture to minimize drywall dust. He was super pleasant and personable--the dog missed him when our job was done. We highly recommend Ian for your next project. Margot and Nathan D.

People on phone site were friendly and helpful, plenty of stones to choose from in a variety of patterns and colors. There was some confusion over whether an item marked "sold" actually was (spoiler alert: it wasn't) so make sure to ask if you like a particular one even if it's marked (especially given the stone deliveries come infrequently). Brian and the installer crew were punctual, friendly, careful and meticulous (as was the initial measurement and selection of stone sections for the parts of the kitchen for best effect). Clearly these guys knew what they were doing, and it showed. That said we are a detail-oriented house and noticed (over time) some small issues (a small seam that needed some revision as well as a stain left by a silicone drain mat (advice: don't use them if you have white stone)). Suffice to say Brian returned three times, listened, was friendly and made the needed changes. The company really stands behind their work which is both rare and very appreciated. Our sincere thanks to Brian and the team at BU--we are very happy with our countertops and backsplashes and have received many positive comments on both the materials and workmanship. We highly recommend them for your countertop needs.

I called the company and was told the cabinet only had a year warranty. I tried to contact them several times about the issue, and I was ghosted.
