Nice selection of hip-hop music and helpful employees who greet you and want to help without being pushy.

The low, low prices are the same. The employees and customer service make the difference. They seem to understand that, as moms, we don't have all day to hang around a strip mall! I sold them some of my kids' clothes, and since it took longer than they promised, they apologized profusely and gave me an extra stamp on my frequent shopper's card. I'm not asking for much-- just a little friendliness. See y'all at Once Upon a Child next week when my boys outgrow this week's clothing...

See, to shore up funds for a pre-order, I tried to sell a few things for some pocket money (because we know how consignment stores work) and I didn't really get anywhere with it . Apparently, they won't buy dolls without clothes, which completely ignores that the kids will redress them anyways, while selling toys that are either missing pieces or beat to hell, matter-of-fact, one of the toys I've seen was practically broken, with one being a dollhouse that has a broken elevator being sold for $18. They passed one of the items that I attempted to sell but I wasn't given a reason why. All this isn't getting into how they lowball your items and the owner's response was especially unhelpful. If you have some baby items and toys that need a new home, I'd suggest donating them to charities. Need some extra funds? I suggest selling on Marketplace, Letgo, Depop, Poshmark, or eBay, NOT at Once Upon a Child. Fairly negative experience and I don't see myself selling here again.

So I have to go to the store to try on all my clothes. Haven't been to Liberty Center for years. We were here for lunch and happen to stumble on it. Was super stoked. Because didn't know there was one in this area. The set up is women's on first floor. Upstairs so is men's and kids combine. It's connected to the mall. Everything is organized and not cluttered. Of course I had to take advantage of the sale rack. Ended up finding two sweaters for $13.99 and a pack of workout socks for $9.99. At checkout the cashier mentioned rewards program which is free. If you first sign up, you get 10% off your first purchase. Had to take advantage of that. Overall, I love H&M, good to know that I can shop at one even if I have to drive 40 minutes out of my way.

An employee will be within 2 ft of you and not acknowledge you at all and when you have a question, you are disturbing them. Today took the cake. Ordered a bunch of stuff online for my daughter and none of it fit (not H&M's fault...I blame the 90's style clothing). Went to this location because it is the only one around. There is a sign on the door that says fitting rooms aren't open and we find out because they are staffed for it. It is back to school shopping time and you can't staff your fitting room? I returned my items (which were paid for using 2 gift cards and credit card). The girl told me it was all going back to my credit card which is never what happens when you use a credit card, so I went outside to call my credit card company and H&M. No credit back to my card pending (understandable) but H&M customer service told me the store told me the wrong thing and I was being emailed two e gift cards, plus credit card refund. So now I'm stuck buying clothes without the gift card that should have just been handed to me. We make our purchase and get to the car and bam, an e gift card back to my account. So now we are walking back in to make them refund and rering the items so we can use the gift cards and forever be done with this store.
