History
Established in 2010.
True Nature is the result of about 15 years of work and dedication towards creating a spiritual way station for those wishing to experience a deeper connection to the natural rhythms of life. After realizing a call to develop a retreat center, Dave began a massage and bodywork practice in 1997. This was the perfect way to lay the foundation for True Nature. Soon after, he started organizing meditative retreats and healing retreats for bodyworkers at a variety of centers. Alana was living in Italy when she had a clear urging to move to Santa Fe, NM, and she followed this call of her heart, which nurtured her immensely and helped clarify her life's direction. Living and working at The Omega Institute, she was immersed in a truly holistic environment and saw firsthand the benefits people gleaned from this atmosphere. As husband and wife, Dave and Alana have worked together to develop their dream of offering a retreat center that is exactly what they would wish for if they were the guests
