I live north of Dallas, TX. Went to the website (through the funeral home webpage) and was impressed by the selection available. I chose a blue and white basket with an angel and a sympathy card. The order was placed easily and the price was very reasonable. I was given an order confirmation and receipt within hours. The afternoon of the visitation, I texted my friend to offer support and he sent me a picture of what I had ordered. The flowers were gorgeous and I was so glad they could bring beauty to a sad occasion. He told me that they were beautiful. The picture shows it. Thank you Flowers and Fancies.

I placed the order online, scheduled pick up, and moved on with my life. Unfortunately, I received an email about 5 days before I was due to pick up the arrangement essentially advising that my selection was no longer available because the flowers wouldn't be in season the month of December. Huh? They explained that they would do their best but I asked for a refund instead. Apparently there was a website issue that allowed the purchase to go through but shouldn't have. Disappointed and frustrated, I placed a last minute birthday order with a large corporation and tried to put the matter behind me. Well color me surprised when the Flowers & Fancies team sent me an arrangement to apologize for the error. I was shocked, surprised, and necessarily reminded that mistakes happen and it's best to have patience and understanding, especially for local, well meaning businesses. The arrangement provided is gorgeous and makes the one I ordered from a large corporation just doesn't compare. Thank you to Heather and the Flowers & Fancies team for making it right. I look forward to supporting in the future.

We chose this tall elegant designer's arrangement and I asked Lisa Fiore to choose red, white, and blue flowers, because the deceased had been in the army and had also been a police officer after serving in the army, and we wanted to commemorate his commitment to service, and when I called I shared that I was fine with spending over the $150.00 price to include red roses, and no carnations or baby's breath, and to charge separately for the tax and delivery charge, along with adding gratuity. In this arrangement, the serenity of the color blue and the purity of intention symbolized by white let our family know that we were sending our calm strength to them during these difficult times. Beautiful blooms included blue delphinium, white lilies, and alstroemeria, along with red roses, eucalyptus, limonium, and more, beautifully arranged in a dazzling cobalt blue vase. I asked to include a second arrangement Two Dozen Long Stemmed Red Roses by BloomNation™ Custom Sympathy Arrangement - Premium for the deceased wife to take home after the services, with the red roses matching the red roses that were in the custom red, wite, and blue arrangement. We read the reviews for the various local florists, and after reading the reviews, we selected "Flowers by Fiore". I called the florist, Lisa Fiore, by phone, and I wanted to be sure that the arrangements could be sent for the wake service, followed by the funeral the next day, and the reception post the cemetery. I was asked what I was looking for, and I went onto the web site and selected a tall elegant arrangement, so I could share specific flowers and colors that I was considering, along with purchased sympathy card for both arrangements, because there did not appear to be enough room on the card section on the web site. Lisa provided her email address so I could email the longer cards, mentioning all the family members by name. Lisa Fiore and her team created two beautiful, thoughtful arrangements that accurately reflected the occasion's solemnity. Flowers by Fiore gets top praise for attentive customer service, timely delivery, and understanding my personal preferences during a difficult time. The florist was willing to incorporate meaningful flowers and colors to personalize the arrangement, making it a fitting tribute to the deceased. I very much appreciated the florist's empathy and care in creating two arrangements that were at the wake, the church service, reception after the burial, and the family's home after the services. The florist created the floral arrangements with attention to detail, beautiful colors, and fresh flowers in early April 2025. The sympathy arrangements were stunning and arrived on time at the funeral home. It was exactly what we needed to express our condolences during a difficult time. My family stated, "Your floral arrangements are magnificent, and the funeral home staff even commented on how beautiful they are." Thank you so much for your efforts in creating two floral arrangements in an array of colors that represented the impact that the deceased had on so many family members and friends! Our sincere thanks!

I just wanted to give a shout-out to Janda Florists. I wanted flowers for my Mama for Mother's Day…read moreand gave this local shop a call. I didn't know what to expect, because the shop was closed due to COVID measures. They had limited inventory (mind you, I waited until only a few days before Mother's Day) and the prices were steep. Still, I wanted to gift my mother a petunia hanging basket and so I placed my order. The lady in charge of entering and processing my order did a fantastic job. It was seamless. She promised me she would "pick out a nice one" and boy did she; the purple petunia hanging basket was full and healthy, it overflowed -- and it was the smallest (cheapest) I could buy (afford). My mother adored the flowers and you could tell that this local business puts their hearts into fulfilling orders. It was easy, seamless, and in the end, worth every dollar spent. Plus, I feel good about helping a local business during this madness of COVID. Thank you so much, Janda Florists!

Their on line system asked who the sender was (me) which caused the people filling the order some confusion which caused the first delay. Once that was straightened out, I asked that the flowers be delivered in the morning, not to leave them at the door or with a neighbor and instead to call me if they can't leave the flowers with the recipient. They said sure, no problem, they would do this. They didn't. Called them at 11:30 a.m. the flowers weren't delivered - was told the driver was back from morning funeral deliveries which "took priority". My delivery was in Cockeysville about 15 minutes from Janda, so, that made no sense. By 3:45 p.m. received an email flowers were delivered but hadn't heard from my friend, which was odd. Called Janda and they said the driver left the flowers with a random person who said they knew my friend and said they could get the flowers over tonight. Thank goodness there are a ton of other florists to choose from. Don't bother with this one unless you don't care when the flowers are delivered or who they are delivered to... Spent $116.00 to do something nice for someone that was completely botched by Janda's horrible service. Don't waste your money.

She has so much experience, which made the entire process so much easier. She was able to give thoughtful, on-point recommendations that helped us figure out exactly what would look best. Teresa was so kind, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the planning, which made everything feel effortless. We are so grateful for her talent, professionalism, and guidance, and would highly recommend Floral Impressions to anyone looking for stunning wedding florals!

The picture I showed her had maybe 15 in the vase, my centerpieces had 6. Plus she added a white boa, which was so tacky. In addition to the MOG and FOG not getting their pieces till after dinner because no one knew where they were to not giving a discount offered because we lived too far to pay cash, this vendor was a huge disappointment. It got worse when I reviewed her on wedding wire (not well obviously) and she emailed me asking to change it with no sincere apology about the horrid centerpieces. After several emails where she tried to show where she "worked with us" and was hoping we would change the review (like changing the number of bouquets months prior, if she didn't want changes she should have said so in the contract), accusing us of delivering the rental vases late (the contract said 1/17 and we delivered 1/12), and saying she didn't have the picture from our meeting (this is my fault?) to blaming the vendors for the lack of quality and not her ability to manage expectations of the ostrich plumes... it really is just mind blowing how unprofessional she was and the lack of accountability. Response to owners comment 12/8/17: wouldn't it make sense downsizing from 4 round tables to one long table, to actually not change the number of plumes required for the "dramatic" centerpieces we requested? Since it would have, in fact, doubled the number of plumes? I find it unfortunate and tacky that you are broadcasting our attendee number (especially since its inaccurate) as it is nobody's business and not your information to discuss. I hope you'll be professional enough to keep our addresses and phone numbers private. Picture uploaded as proof.
