My wife and I have been going to True Blue since we moved to the West Side 5 years ago. The staff is always helpful and straight to the point and honest! They worked on my 03 Nissan Frontier while I had it and was always great service. When it was time to trade her in they recommended a few different options to keep it running but we're honest that it may not fix everything. Since then they are the only place we go for services on our jeeps and the price and service can't be beat! read more

They are 50-50. Sometimes good. Sometimes sketchy. Allegedly they own the motorcycle shop next door. Had my motorcycle oil change next door. Next day motor cycle got speed wobbles went down. Then I took my SUV to true blue for suspension work, some how my battery terminals were lose, disconnected while driving, lost power steering brake pressure ect, they blamed me even tho that never happened for 4 years of ownership until they touched my vehicle. Same thing, very next day issue. Can't prove it, but I don't believe in coincidence like that. read more

Moved into the area, stopped by to ask some questions about the shop. The man at the counter was upset that i was asking questions like are your mechanics certified and how long have you been in business. 2 questions set him off saying my questions were stupid. Ok, i wont be going there! Beware. read more

I walked in and instantly felt better about having my car serviced here than the place recommended by Yelp. The place that was recommended was extremely sketchy from location to people. I actually left because I felt unsafe. True Blue is nice and clean and welcoming. Repair was done quickly and efficiently. All services were explained. I will be back for any further repairs I need! read more

Called over to the local auto repair and got the pleaser to speak with Anthony. He came after hours to pick up my truck and then found the issue to why it wasn't starting within minutes. I'd definitely recommend True Blue Automotive for all auto repairs! Thank you Anthony we appreciate you! read more

True Blue Automotive... it's hard to properly express my gratitude for all of the times you've helped me with my vehicles! This auto shop truly cares about their customers and has come to my rescue multiple times! When I needed AC work and was short on cash, they found an alternative to solve the problem and saved me big time! Just today they helped me with my radio, which may seem like something small, but it was a massive help! Other places wanted to charge me 400 just for an inspection and True Blue Automotive was able to find a very simple solution for almost no charge! I highly recommend this auto ship for all of your auto needs! They will treat you with respect and their prices are more than fair!! Keep up the amazing work and THANK YOU for being the best!! read more

Great mechanic. Ask for Anthony. He'll make sure your ride is taken care of. I've been coming here for over a decade. Plus, the prices are affordable. read more

Do not go here for reliable, quality , and honest mechanic! also by the way, come to find out was grossly over priced. Brake work on a vehicle is not rocket science and they obviously don't have a clue! Your brake pedal is not supposed to go to the floor after they replaced my power booster and master cylinder. and when I ask them to fix this, they try to tell me that it's because I need new brake pads in my back wheels "their paper, thin" which is completely wrong. I have at least 20,000 miles left at the minimum on those brake pads in the back, I had just replaced the front ones 4 weeks prior, only because they said at my last oil change, that my pads were "paper thin" when in actual The front pads had plenty of pad left as well! I had my companies mechanic look at the extra travel in my brake pedal and he recognized right away the problem was that they did not bleed all the air out of the master cylinder that I had them replace. lesson learned. Don't give your hard earned money to a shady outfit like this one. Well, when I went to see if they would have the integrity to correct the problem that's when, well I found out that this is a reoccurring problem with the owner and I think his son, because I was cost out and told never to come back and actually had to call the cops because he slammed the door on me. I felt assaulted me, and then when I talk to the police officers, they said that this is a common occurrence with these people, so I do not recommend dealing with that kind of people. Hopefully they learn their lesson for their other customer sake grow some integrity, but we all know probably not gonna happen ‍ read more

Terrible customer service, terrible shop. My wife took her car in and asked for a tune up. They proceeded to replace the spark plugs without looking at them and never checked anything else. When I called to ask about it they responded with a tune up just means replacing the spark plugs (simple google search shows they're wrong) and does not cover any inspection or anything else. read more

We live in El Mirage and try to use businesses locally. A year ago our 19 year old daughter took our Ford Taurus in for an oil change. They overtightened the oil filter. Luckily we love 5 minutes away. By the time our daughter came home half of the oil had leaked out. My husband took it back immediately and they performed a new oil change. We thought it was just an accident. December 27 our son took our Chrysler in for an oil change. This should be a comprehensive service where all fluid levels are checked. Today our son drove over from Tempe in the Chrysler and the temperature shot up. My husband checked the fluid levels for the coolant and there was almost none in the reservoir. He added half a gallon of coolant. We spent over $1,200 a year ago having a coolant hose replaced at this shop. Beware of going to this shop for service. They are not detailed and clearly either don't have the skills or don't care about doing repairs properly. Cars are expensive and being good about regular repairs should keep your car and pocketbook healthy. This shop will just take your money. Update: We took our Chrysler to Firestone. Thankfully the lack of coolant did not blow a head gasket. $717 later, our vehicle is repaired. I also discovered that my vehicle that had it last oil change at True Blue - they apparently drilled a hole in my oil pan after stripping the threads and put the heli-coil "fix" without telling me. Now, I will need to have my oil pan replaced on a car with only 36k miles. Never, never again will we use True Blue. Use a reputable shop or the dealer. It isn't worth the expense later down the road to use this to place where they don't stand by their work and continue to make the same mistakes on vehicles. read more

Extremely dishonest. I have tried to like this place for 3 years. I had two vehicles that needed some work done and they quoted me for replacement of a lot of unnecessary parts. I took both vehicles to get second opinions and they were repaired for a fraction of the cost. I have also waited over 2 months to write my review in case I was wrong. Nope, cars work great. I am done bringing my service here, I have found my trusted mechanic and this place is not it. read more

I went to change my truck battery and noticed that my battery cable terminal was pretty much snapped in half, I took my truck into Anthony & they took a look at it and had the cables & terminal replaced in under an hour. Great customer service from the time I arrived to the time my truck was completed. read more

The service is quick and the oil change is a great value for the price. They always do a great job with my car. Although the upsell can be a little out there. They suggested new tires for my car a month after they were replaced? So, do they think me a sucker because I am a woman? read more

Feel like these guys can definitely give alot more transparency and better customer service on what could be goin wrong with customers vehicles when told what the cust is there for. Customer service was lacking ALOT and they seem pretty dull, like its another day in hell. Told them what i was wanting to get checked and charged $50 for a quick diagnostic on what i already knew was wrong. Other mechanics would have loved to come outside and take a quick look and tell me then and there and putting extra customer satisfaction for the customer with a quick look at the vehicle instead of trying to get cash into their shop and selling. They didnt bother checkin the air filter i had told them to look into and was possibly wanting changed, but quoted me for my a/c compressor that was noisy and the radiator fans that are also "going bad" and while its nice to also tell me my brakes are low (which were actually replaced and done pretty recently), im sure they didnt bother checking my air filter to see if it actually needed to be replaced. This place will definitely try to sell a little more than other places out there so the trust is definitely not good here. Theres definitely other places to look other than this shop if you're needing more than just a cheap oil change. read more

True Blue Automotive - Auto Repair Near Me - El Mirage, Arizona

Was quoted $1587 over the phone for a job. Told them I would be in to talk to them. I came in and asked the gal at the front to see a quote. Owner was right there, he said I don't have an actual 'quote' and the office gal reassured me "it's pretty messed up" as if that was good enough and I should take her advice on auto mechanics. Owner produced a quote and went over it with me and the mechanic. I asked about any other options or payment plans, he said there were none. I told him I simply didn't have $1587. He said, "Well how much do you have?" I thought there were no other options I told him. He said, "Well maybe a discount or something." I thought to myself, wow did I just look like I was worth $1587 when I walked in the door? True Blue has the highest markup on parts pricing that I've ever seen. I took it down the road to Thunderbird Auto and they did the entire job and washed it for me for $750, less than half the price. read more

I made a appointment with True Blue to get some parts installed my car. When I dropped off my car the mechanic informed me that there might parts that need to be replace in order to install everything which was nice that he told me ahead of time. The mechanic also told me it would be done the next day. After dropping off my car I got a text message from True Blue that informed me that they were working on my car and I needed to replace my stabilizer links. The text message included photos of my cracked and worn out links. The text also had a link that took me to a quote for the parts and labor and asked if I wanted to accept or decline. I accepted the repair. This was super convenient. The next day I received another text from True Blue saying my vehicle was ready for pick up. This was another great smooth visit with True Blue! read more

I live right next to the Northern Ave location and decided to try them out to get a tire repaired...my Jeep needed an oil change so I decided to get that done as well...Anthony had my oil changed and tire fixed in about 30 minutes! The shop and waiting area is super clean and organized and the super nice lady who worked in the office and I had a great chat about all kinds of stuff. This was my first experience here and I will definitely bring my vehicles back so I highly recommend True Blue! read more

My family has been going here for years. We are always greeted with a smile, they are very nice & professional. We never feel that they charge too much or try to recommend things that don't need to be done. They are fair & I would and have recommended them. read more

My husband's truck was towed there. They waited almost until closing time for it. We kept in contact throughout the day since it needed to be towed there. They did extensive work to repair his truck two days prior to Christmas. They did an amazing job and the price was extremely reasonable for the repairs. They are a family owned business and they now have our families business too! They did not talk me lie to me about anything or do extra work to increase their revenue. We will be back to have our vehicles serviced there! It is a great and honest business!!!! read more

I had been going here to get my oil changed on and off for years. I had my daughter take her car here to get her oil changed a couple of weeks ago. When the car failed emissions I took it to AAA. There they found the oil and air filter and not been changed. That cost me 400 dollars to fix. Very, very unhappy. read more

As a woman, I find that taking my car in for any kind of work (even a simple oil change) is about as fun of an experience as going to the dentist. That is, until I found this place! If they find something wrong they explain it to me & provide me with options & suggestions. I never feel pressured to accept anything or go beyond my budget. The people who work there are truly honest, hard working individuals & I know because there have been a couple of instances were they told me how to get the work done cheaper, even if it meant them not making a profit. The prices are reasonable & they are very fast. I've waited longer for my car to get washed at the car wash, lol. They have flexible hours: Mondays through Fridays: 7:30 am to 4 pm. Saturday: 7:30 am to 4 pm. Sunday: closed read more

Rude costumer service and mechanics. I went in for a oil change and a a/c charge. They only gave me a oil change and they checked the air but didn't recharge it. They billed me to check it and didn't recharge the air. I came in with minor mechanics and came out with major car issues. read more

The receptionist is nice. They are nice, but if something goes wrong...it's not their fault. They make excuses. I still brought my vehicle back. I figured I started with them I would rather have one shop know the vehicle instead of starting with someone knew. Big mistake. Once you start asking questions they aren't so mice. Go somewhere else. read more

Excellent and quick service! My boyfriend and I both took our cars here today for an oil change in our cars. We were in and out in under and hour. True Blue really took care of us and ensured that all of our needs and questions were met. The price was not too bad either; the boyfriend's service was only $26 and mine was $45 (my car takes synthetic). All in all, we will be sure to come back. read more
