I came to this store because it was the closest to where I was working out. I needed a couple of cards for our friends' 50th birthday parties and was going to take advantage of my BOGO Free coupon. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and shown where the 50th cards are. The store is clean and well stocked. Why the 3 stars? Well, upon checking out, the employee was most likely prompted by the register as to how much to take off because of my BOGO Free coupon. I showed her that it explicitly says I can choose any Hallmark card and that the lesser-value was free. She then called over another employee who I assumed was the MOD as she had unlocked the store before opening hours. They both read the T&Cs and the MOD stated that they're usually only valued at $2.99 or $3.99 off, but said that since the coupon didn't explicitly say, they were going to give me $3.99. When I pointed once again that I could choose any card and the lesser would be free, they doubled down and said that the most they give is $3.99. I just don't under why a customer is held to T&Cs but the store is not. read more

This Hallmark in Southlands is my new go to spot for cards. After years of hastily picking up a card at the grocery store or Wal Mart I started actually taking some time and thought to pick a card for my upcoming occasions. I like this one because it is light and bright and the associates can actually find you the perfect card if you are in a hurry and need some guidance. I also always get sucked in by their gifts with purchase - I mean who doesn't need a bunny who can clap its ears to music? :)- Prices are a bit higher than your Wal Mart card, but worth it for the selection. There is parking around back, but some up close spots right outside the door if you are lucky! read more

I've been a hallmark member for years and I love going here. Especially every Friday you get a free shoebox card. There's always someone that's having a birthday, going away party or wedding these days. LOL I also just got my 40% off coupon for members that purchased I believe at least once a month. Come on out there's always something you can get a Hallmark. If you haven't been there check it out it really is for everyone. Kids, man and woman. Running errands late yesterday, checked their website for closing time, it was 9 PM. So I stop for gas on my way and get to store at 8:05. Doors locked, closing up. I knock and employees wave me off. Hold up my phone with web page of store up and showing posted hours. Don't care, wave me off again. I'm never going back. Lost customer forever. Amy's Hallmark is like the mom and pop shop of yesteryear. It's where I go for all my cards, wrappings, trappings, and special gifts. Upon entering the store I always get greeted. If I am in a hurry, I get great customer service, generally within minutes of entering the store. Otherwise, I can browse along the card aisles for as long as I choose, the selection of cards is vast. The manager always has a funny story, antidote or joke to share with me. The cashiers are helpful and considerate if I am just not finding the item I need. They carry every kind of gift item from funny to religious, baby, graduation (even when it's not May!), birthday, etc. I have even called ahead to have them hold an item for me if I am coming to pick it up that day. Of course, I love the incentives I receive as a Hallmark rewards customer! I have always loved Hallmark cards, now I have a store, Amy's Hallmark, that I love just as much! read more

If I could I would give my whole experience today zero stars!!! I wanted to get a very specific card and I saw online that this store had it. Walked in and asked an employee that I saw that they had two available and could be picked up today...show her a picture and showed her where it says that it could be picked up! She proceeded to say that card was in storage and that it could not be picked up!Ummm what?! I kept telling her that it shows that it's available for FREE SAME DAY pick up and she just walked away! Bottom line: won't be returning due to the horrible customer service and don't have something advertised as available at the store if employees have it hidden in the back and are too lazy to get it! read more

So, shopping with a three year old and a 14th month old is inherently difficult. My trip was made more so by the lack of customer service provided. I walked around the store, found the PERFECT anniversary card and a clearance item I wanted and went to the checkout. At the check out, my 3 year old tells me she has to potty. This is a 3 year old who waits til the very last second. Remembering years ago when I worked there and the store manager who would do anything to help someone in my shoes. The cashier says, "I can let you use the bathroom in the back." Sigh of relief! Well then this other lady who works there stepped up and said she can't "take the risk." Wait, what? If I am carrying both of my kids to ensure they don't trip, etc., why do you want me to have to walk half a block away in the frigid cold?! Needless to say, we had t o leave because they refused to let my THREE year old use the bathroom. (I feel like I should have let her pee on the floor). So we walked out in the 21 degree weather with a windchill about 15 degrees, and TRIED to get to a bathroom. Well, shopping trip ruined, anniversary card going to be late....kid peed all over herself. Now, I'm not one who has the sense of entitlement to everything, but seriously, you can't let ME take responsibility for MY kids? You can't let a 3 year old use the stinking toilet?! Really? So I end up with no anniversary card or present and a kid shivering in the cold as we try to huff it back to the car since she is SOAKED. A bit of compassion would have gone a long way. The employees exhibited none. Maybe they didn't have kids and didn't understand, but if you have kids, make sure you stop at Wal Mart across the street to make them potty first and make sure you don't take too much time shopping - otherwise, you're doomed. read more

We went today... my 4 yr old granddaughter and I picked out birthday and Father's Day cards. After choosing several cards, but before we checked out, my granddaughter had to go potty. The UNFRIENDLY staff refused to let her go potty there! This "royalty card member" will shop elsewhere in the future. Terrible customer service!! read more

We went into this location for a last-minute birthday gift this past Saturday night. Lori went above and beyond helping us including putting a ribbon around a wine glass that we bought just to add a little special touch. She helped us as soon as we walk to the door and I just throughout the store. I really appreciated all her help and I will return to the store because of her. It was very nice to have that kind of hands-on help when I was rushed to buy a gift. read more

I walked into this shop today hoping to grab a few Christmas gifts for family. Immediately as I entered there were several employees behind the counter talking to each other. No one greeted or acknowledged my presence. I spent a good 20-30 minutes shopping and picking out gifts despite zero interaction with staff. As I went to pay, the woman at the register was waiting on one other customer, ringing them out. I got behind this customer in line. Another customer walked up to discuss a purchase with the woman working at the register, the employee (manager perhaps) turned without acknowledging me once and started helping the woman who walked up after me, the customer actually apologized to me while this Hallmark employee continued to ignore me. I set my items on the counter and promptly left and will not be back. Having worked for years in customer service this is simply unacceptable. If I was an actual mystery shopper, this whole experience would've earned a zero. read more

I like this store, but couldn't find birthday-appropriate wrapping paper or ribbons on my November 11, 2016 visit. There was only a small selection of generic wrapping paper and a small bin of assorted ribbons. The clerk said they remove most of the gift wrap when Christmas wrap, cards, etc. are up. Most of the store was indeed packed with Christmas items. Went to the grocery store where there was an abundant supply. Disappointing!! read more
