I came late on a Friday night right before they closed, with a big nail in my tire. They didn't have a replacement, but patched it real quick _for free!_ I had never patched a tire before, so wasn't familiar with the process, but they communicated everything very clearly and worked quickly. Great experience on a very stressful day, thank you Truckee Tire! Grab some cash for a tip, because they'll save your butt. read more

This morning it showed on my dash board 'low pressure in a tire.' We are so job specific in my long term marriage that I really didn't know what to do next. Thank God for these guys at Truckee Tires. They not only checked that tire but they checked all the tires and went over the car inside and out. They found that an old patch was leaking, fixed it and sent me safely on my way. I wish I could remember the names of those two guys on the desk that were so helpful. They were great but I'd leave out who worked on my tires.. I'm grateful to all of them and am so happy and relieved that they're there. I highly recommend them. Barbara read more

Friendly staff and high expertise quickly completing tire fix exceeding my expectations! Highly recommend.

Our tire pressure indicator went off and I looked on Yell and found this place. They were able to take a look immediately when we drove in, we may have been lucky with timing. They found the weird nail/screw that was stuck in our tire and was able to patch up the tire very quickly. Best tire service I ever had. I had my 3 kids with me and they were all mesmerized by the whole process. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that needs services for tires. read more

Not very friendly, had a flat, needed help. staff said they don't have time during the holidays, like if I was stupid for asking.

4 hours from home, no cell service and I get a flat outside of Sierra City. I hitched a ride to town to use the local mercantile Wi-Fi. Google pops up this location. Travis kindly get me a quote and sets a time. Hitch a ride back, toss on the donut and 1 slow hour later, I find myself in Truckee. The team was quick and professional. I feel that Travis gave me a fair price. Highly recommend read more

I am beyond grateful for Truckee Tire and the incredible support they gave me during a really difficult situation. I broke down on a Saturday with two flat tires and was told by multiple places that no one could help me until Monday. I was stranded with two kids and starting to panic. But then I reached out to Truckee Tire, and even though it was Sunday--their day off--they still took the time to help me. They offered text support and stayed in contact with me late Saturday night through early Sunday morning. Their kindness and willingness to communicate during their time off brought me so much comfort when I desperately needed it. Felipe ended up coming in and saving the day. I honestly owe everything to him and the team. If it weren't for their help, I don't know how I would've gotten home safely with my kids. Truckee Tire didn't just provide amazing customer service--they showed genuine care and compassion. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! read more

My husband and I are not locals, and found ourselves at Truckee Tire one minute before closing with a leaking tire. Had a flat tire on a Sunday and at 86 I am physically unable to change and install the spare. Truckee Tire sent a repairman who arrived quickly and promptly removed the nail from the tire and plugged the hole with a repair plug. Twice in the last few years, I have brought one of my cars into Truckee Tire with a slow leak in one of the tires. In both cases, the problem was a plug put in by someone else that was leaking. Each time, they removed the tire and patched it from the inside. They did this while I waited, even though I didn't have an appointment. Much to my surprise, they charged me nothing--$0, zilch! I promised myself that the next time I needed new tires, I would get them from Truckee Tire. And so, a few months ago, I got new tires for my Subaru. It was great working with a shop that knows what tires work well in the mountains. Great experience--I highly recommend them! read more

We had some surface damage on the sidewalls of our tires of our Tesla Model Y and we had Travis take a look to assess the need for replacement. He took a close look with a flashlight and deemed them to be safe and functional. Without question the BEST emergency tire experience ever. We were driving out the 267 and got a flat on our way to go ice-skating late on a Sunday night after a day of skiing . The price was a little less than they quoted me on the phone. read more

I came to this tire shop because of a flat tire on my jet ski trailer. They checked both tires and there was no air leak. Well folks, there's a reason why Truckee Tire has so many solid five-star reviews - this place is legit. Today I had my first solo experience with a flat tire in a very remote area. I called AAA for a tow and declined offers of help from two good samaritans as I kept an eye out for my tow truck in shining armor. After two hours of waiting, I realized that no one was coming. The next person who passed by offered to put the spare on for me (I watched sheepishly, thinking "how can I be an adult who has driven for over 25 years and still not know how to do this??") To do: learn how to change a f'in tire. My lameness aside, I did get to Truckee Tire before the 5pm close. Travis and team got my car fixed up with a new tire in a prompt and professional manner and I was on my way within 15 minutes. Kudos and thanks to this excellent team for making my otherwise tough day a bit brighter. read more

Travis was communicative and helpful explaining what was going on with my flat tire and recommending how I should navigate getting a replacement since the EV specific tire wasn't available.
