I was desperate to find some relief for my extremely painful lower back/sacroiliac on a Sunday night of a holiday weekend after triggering a recurring injury on Sat morning. I purchased several non refundable ski tickets and could barely sit, stand, walk or bend over without a shot of sharp, intense nerve pain but knew if I could see a chiropractor I could at least get my kids to the slopes and watch them. As it was, I could not tolerate sitting or standing for long. After calling every chiropractor in the bay area, I discovered no one is open on a Sun. It felt like a miracle when I found Dr. Dave on Yelp in Truckee, where we are staying. Not only was he open on Sunday, but he was extremely responsive, works until 8 pm and he works on holidays. We texted, and scheduled a very last min appointment for 7:30 on a Sun night. He even had guests over! I felt so bad intruding, but he was kind and welcoming. My pain decreased right away. I saw him Mon morning as well, before heading to slopes, and let's just say, I got to ski a half day with zero pain! I was so grateful to be able to spend the gorgeous day with the my family on the slopes. We were all looking so forward to it, it would've been a shame to cancel. Thank you, Dr. Dave! I appreciate your knowledge, skill and special office hours! read more

Dr Dave did an amazing job with me! I developed a bad back pain just after arriving in Tahoe, and not only did Dr. Dave take me on immediately on a Sunday, but he also was amazingly effective. He got me back on my snowboard within a couple days. I've been with multiple chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Dave has a very sure, precise and effective approach. I recommend him unreservedly. read more

Dr. Dave helps keep me in alignment and well!I have been to many chiropractors over the years because of a condition with my neck from a car accident when I was younger. My discs are hyper mobile and so sometimes I get out of alignment and I can get pinched nerves, pain, limited mobility etc. However, ever since I've been going to Dr. Dave for about three years now I haven't had any bad episodes and I am at my optimal wellness. I go to him for seasonal adjustments and whenever I need it, and he's the best chiropractor I've ever been to. He uses a variety of customized techniques for me specifically and after I get an adjustment from him I always feel great. I highly recommend his chiropractic care. read more

This was not a good experience. First bad sign was the fact that as soon as I reached out to Dave with my problem, he responded with his price. I did not ask for pricing. I asked for availability and described my issue. Second bad sign when I got there was no mask. He asked if he should wear a mask to which I responded with "yes, please." Not only was he not wearing a mask, but he was surprised that I asked him to wear one. A medical professional without a mask! Lastly, the service he provided was not particularly helpful. Found a few pressure points that may or may not have been related to my issue, and that was it. Did not really provide much feedback on the issue I was having, how to fix it, how long it will likely last, how to prevent it, etc. Pointed me to his website to watch a few videos and asked me to schedule a follow up. Took 20 minutes. Do not recommend. read more

Dr. Dave is very accommodating and has a great positive aura. I was in pain after an unsuccessful "head stand" (messing around with an 8 year old). He was like a savior. He saw me the same day, did a great adjustment with professional attitude, great smile and some cool technical instrument that relaxed the muscles right away. When I am back in Truckee I will be definitely contacting Dr. Dave - and since he is able to travel to the location, my whole family will get the adjustment at the comfort of our home! read more

Doctor Dave responded to my inquiry promptly, gave me several options for care to take care of my unplanned (are they ever..) back injury impacting our family vacation, and patched me up through a home visit as I was not able to get to his home clinic. Dr. Dave has been beyond helpful when it comes to my back and neck pain. He is such a great chiropractor because his adjustments last!! I am a hairdresser so my shoulders and neck often are bothering me. The thing I appreciate about being a patient of Dr. Dave is that he is always quick to see me for an appointment. He knows how living in pain isn't something you can just put off for a few days until he is "able to get you in". He truly puts the clients needs first, and that is something that I believe sets him apart. I also love his non toxic and holistic approach to muscle relaxing!! Dr. Dave gets straight to the issues that you are experiencing while easing your mind about being adjusted (as many people are). I would recommended him to anyone who's looking for a chiropractor! read more

Dr. Dave was super responsive. I was up in Tahoe for a medical conference. I don't know if it was the combination of the relaxation of being in Tahoe, but his adjustments lasted a lot longer than my adjustments in San Francisco! He used a machine called 'Rapid Release' that worked on the soft tissue before the adjustment. His rates were very reasonable (especially compared to San Francisco rates). He fit me in when I needed to, and was helpful with local Truckee rec's! I will be back next time I go up to Tahoe. Saved me money on a massage as well. Thanks! read more

I'm an avid snowboarder that frequents Northstar, Truckee, and the Lake Tahoe area. I was in search of a chiropractor to just align me after a 3 hour drive and a couple falls on the slopes. To my relief Dr. Dave was available, and not only did he give me a great adjustment, he also used a new technique called Rapid Release that broke up adhesions in my neck, lowerback, and shoulders. He is extremely friendly and professional. If you are a weekend warrior and need a good fix before your drive home I would definitely give Dr. Dave a call! read more

I was in Tahoe recently for some snow skiing and took a bad fall. My back went into spasm and I was in dire need of a chiropractic adjustment. I was referred to Dr.Dave by a friend who told me about his great services. I have been treated by many different chiropractors in my day and was very impressed with Dr.Dave and his chiropractic knowledge. Using his chiropractic skills he was able to get me some serious relief and I was able to get back on the ski hill the next day. Thanks so much for the great service. Dr. Dave totally saved me! I was on day 3 of a 2 week ski trip when I slipped a rib head out of place (not an infrequent occurrence) and he was able to see me within hours. His home office is totally clean and welcoming (the house smells like fresh baked cookies), and he has all of the latest tools of the trade including a new mechanism for breaking up deep scar tissue. Dr. Dave also takes most insurance and was flexible regarding a claim or cash. I felt immediate relief and would definitely see him again when I'm in town. Dr. Dave is the best! read more

Super treatment today, relieved some major pain stopping me from sleeping. In Tahoe, I always see Dr. Schroeder.

Dr. Dave is a great guy! He helped take away some intense back pain after one adjustment. I am grateful for his practice!

Dr. Dave is a great chiropractor. Has good natural mussel relaxers, and knows how to work intense pain away. Would recommend to everyone.

My back went into spasms on our first day of vacation. Dave was able to see me on a Sunday and provided relief, herbs and reminded me to ice, stretch and rest. I did my homework, saw him again two days later and my back slowly returned to normal. He was easy going, flexible and professional. Definitely recommend! read more

I have been having chronic back pain since I was in my late twenties. Was diagnosed with a condition that is common among people who are very active. I saw Dr. Dave about a month or so ago and he literally left me pain free. I was skeptical about seeing a chiropractor (I am a nurse and those guys don't have the best rep) but I finally caved in. I have done everything such as a Accupuncture, weekly massages, ibuprofen EVERYDAY, and the list goes on. I am now PAIN FREE since I started treatment with Dr. Dave. It is amazing. I can't express the gratitude that I feel now. Life is good. read more
