I was up in Truckee for a few weeks on vacation and needed a good chiropractic adjustment after hitting paddle boarding a little too hard. My regular Dr is in LA. I found Elemental via a FB group recommendation. The office got me in the same day I called them and I saw Cory. I was in good hands. Cory was professional, knowledgeable and a fantastic chiropractor. He spent an hour working on me, and gave me a good adjustment which helped some tightness relax. He also made some good suggestions on some stretches I could keep up with. I highly suggest this place for anyone in the area or from out of town looking for care. I have had great experiences with Elemental Back and Body! My doula (I am currently pregnant) suggested seeing Kaila for my pregnancy aches and pain along with pregnancy depression. On my consultation visit, Kaila spent a lot of time with me getting to know me and understanding how I was feelings both physically and emotionally. I had previously never experienced acupuncture so she was very informative on the process. After my treatment, we discussed the plan for the rest of my pregnancy and she also suggested some supplements to help with my depression. Had a back injury probably due to shoveling snow & picking up my 10 month old grandson this winter. Saw Cory and within 24 hours had relief. I went to Elemental Back & Body when I had the worst lower back spasm pain of my life. They understood the urgency of my pain and fit me in quite quickly. They were very effective at easing the pain of the spasm while encouraging my back to heal, so I saw results in only a handful of visits. It seems like they truly work with the needs of the patient in applying integrative approaches such as an adjustment suitable for my pain level, cupping and exercises to help ease pain and strengthen my core. So...I made the decision to train for my very first marathon...with a bit a persuasion from a good friend. I was a little nervous about the stability of my knee since I had just had a meniscectomy less than a year prior. But it was raising money for a good cause and I wanted to get back in shape, so there I was. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have Spencer Cruttenden, DC work with me both pre and post race. I honestly do not think I could have made it through the race without him. He taught me exercises that helped strengthen the muscles around my knees to provide support, provided adjustments and stretched me out pre race, and kinesiology taped my knee so that it would be properly aligned while running. I made it the 26.2 miles (farthest I have ever ran) with zero knee pain! After the race he provided more treatments that greatly sped up my muscle recovery time.
