On the very first night, I managed to get a brutal kink in my neck thanks to a questionable timeshare pillow. The pain and immobility were so bad my wife insisted I see a chiropractor. Even though they were out of network and I had to pay cash ($125 for the new patient assessment and $75 for the adjustment), it ended up being some of the best money I've ever spent. Dr. Tim was incredibly kind, thorough, and generous with his time. He didn't just focus on the immediate neck pain -- he took a deep dive into my history of injuries, mobility, and overall fitness goals. His approach felt truly holistic. After some time resting with CBD cream and a heating pad, he came back in and delivered what I can only describe as a "bomber" adjustment. The relief was so immediate and powerful I actually teared up. I told him, "I feel like I should give you a hug." With the calm confidence of someone who is one part Kurt Russell and one part martial arts sensei, he said, "Well, that's okay," and gave me a good‑natured embrace. I was able to see him again a few days later to reinforce the work before our 10‑hour drive back to Los Angeles, which made a huge difference. If I lived in Tahoe, I'd be in his office regularly. If you're visiting and something goes sideways with your back or neck, I can't recommend Dr. Tim and his wonderful staff highly enough. Next year I'll be back -- but since I'm over 40, I'll also be bringing my own pillow.

Shah called me right away and within an hour I was in Dr. Tim Schoeder's Office getting the care and healing I needed. No X-Ray's needed. Dr. Tim went right to work with a variety of modalities. His experience in Karate gives Dr. Tim an extra boost with his hands and the ability to seek, find and penetrate into those areas especially painful. The office is clean, bright and a sense of "Ahhh" when you walk in, knowing you are in the best hands and with the right people. Many thanks to both Sha and Tim. See you next holiday for sure. Thank you Dr. Geoff Lowden for first putting my mind at ease and then for saving my ski season!…read more My knee injury never stood a chance against your experience, your facilities and your genuine care for my recovery. Although my injury was the result of a bonehead move, Dr. Lowden made me feel like a professional athlete when I walked through his door. He asked a lot of questions during the initial exam and kept probing when I was trying to act tough. It was a pleasure watching him work and listening to him describe the trauma my knee went through, how it was reacting to the injury, and how we were going to help it recover. He quickly made me feel comfortable and confident that together we would work a plan to get well. Dr. Geoff has personally followed up after each treatment and that's how I know I have found a partner for all of my sports ailments big or small. Tahoe Spine and Sports has a great location in Incline Village NV right above High Altitude Fitness. The office is peaceful and clean with state of the art equipment. I purchased several non refundable ski tickets and could barely sit, stand, walk or bend over without a shot of sharp, intense nerve pain but knew if I could see a chiropractor I could at least get my kids to the slopes and watch them. As it was, I could not tolerate sitting or standing for long. After calling every chiropractor in the bay area, I discovered no one is open on a Sun. It felt like a miracle when I found Dr. Dave on Yelp in Truckee, where we are staying. Not only was he open on Sunday, but he was extremely responsive, works until 8 pm and he works on holidays. We texted, and scheduled a very last min appointment for 7:30 on a Sun night. He even had guests over! I felt so bad intruding, but he was kind and welcoming. My pain decreased right away. I saw him Mon morning as well, before heading to slopes, and let's just say, I got to ski a half day with zero pain! I was so grateful to be able to spend the gorgeous day with the my family on the slopes. We were all looking so forward to it, it would've been a shame to cancel. Thank you, Dr. Dave! I appreciate your knowledge, skill and special office hours!

Wow. Dr. Abbe Gage is so attuned to the body and what it…read moreneeds. The way she guides ones body to move and breath to heal from the inside out, structurally and muscularly is absolutely phenomenal. I went in with extreme pain and difficulty breathing from a ski injury to my rib cage. Abbe had me sit on the table first, to talk about what ailed me. I could tell she was reading my body as I sat there, discussing, putting me at ease with the conversation. I then lay down, and she gently evaluated my whole body; makes sense, everything is after all connected. She then started to have me tune into parts of my body, and breath into those spots. Then move and hone in on deeper spots, again all the while guiding me with my own breath. She would then evaluate and continue to develop my positioning and movements to further expand upon her work with me. By the end of the session, I felt more whole, relaxed, connected, and surprisingly, stronger. As I write this now hours later, I feel even better and can breath deeply with considerably less pain and again, a more whole sense of self and body. Hands down one of the most incredible healers I've had a chance to work with. Thank you Abbe!
