Wow. Bought a vehicle from out of state. Trusted the brand from familiarity. Flew in and picked it up: Didn't even make it to Salt Lake without a tire going flat... Still haven't been able to get the cigarette smoke out of the interior that was covered by an air freshener. Windshield wiper sprayers didn't work. All of these I dealt with, because I shouldn't have bought sight unseen. Today I found a key FOB wedged underneath the rubber cup holders. I think this business is a bit of a scam, in my experience. The CO location had a vehicle advertised on Facebook, after driving to see it, and making an offer I learned a bit more information. The vehicle is personally owned by a manager, not the business. I was told this along with since it's his personal vehicle he doesn't need to sell it. Note that I am not unhappy my offer wasn't taken, what is wrong is to sell a personal vehicle and represent it as dealer owned. Then on top of it, they want a dealer doc fee. In CO when you buy a vehicle from a person there is nothing needed but a signed title, the seller doesn't collect taxes, or do any other paperwork. What kind of scam is this place running. I have to say the salesman was doing good, for a used car salesman, but these businesses practices of selling personal vehicles not even owned by the dealership and charging doc fees, etc. is extremely sus. Avoid Truck Ranch. They claim to do thorough inspections, but please look at the google reviews (sort low to high) and you will see that they sell a lot of trucks where their buyers end up putting thousands of dollars to fix things that truck ranch "overlooked." We bought a truck two months ago from Truck Ranch and have only put 200 miles on it. The engine light came on so we had our mechanic look at it. Turns out the turbo in the engine is out and will be $2500+ to fix. Our mechanic also said this would have been a pre-issue that truck ranch "overlooked" because our 200 miles on it would not have caused the turbo to go out. I called a manager and asked them to make it right and I got a nice apology of no, but that I could use their mechanic and get a good price. No thank you...you are dishonest. They read more

I began looking for a truck in September and after much research and debating, I decided on a Ram 3500 Megacab. Now that I decided what vehicle I wanted; it was time to find the right one. I looked for several weeks and finally found what looked to be the perfect truck; a Ram 3500 Megacab with all the extras. One problem, I am in Oregon and the truck is at Truck Ranch in Logan, Utah 750 miles away. I have always been leery of used car lots as it typically doesn't go how you planned whether it be finding out the vehicle has problems, or the price doesn't get to where you think it should be OR both. I was already reluctant, add in the lot was 750 miles away....but the truck was perfect. I decided to reach out to them and spoke with Greg Titus. Greg was extremely helpful and very patient with me as I had lots of questions and I had to depend on him texting me pictures and videos in order to "see" the truck. He was honest and thorough during the entire deal. I decided to roll the dice and buy the truck at their asking price even though I had never laid eyes on it much less driven it. They agreed to ship the truck to their lot in Oregon, which is about 30 minutes from me. Several days later the truck arrived and it looked and drove far better than I expected. It was perfect in every way....almost. I took the truck to my mechanic and he pointed out a couple of things he thought may have been "deal breakers" had he inspected the truck prior to me buying it. I called Greg on the phone and explained what I had learned. Greg told me he would talk to his boss, Jase Hill, and get back to me. Honestly, I was sick to my stomach and felt like I had made a big mistake. Jase called me back shortly thereafter and told me he would do what it took to make things right and offered to pay for the repairs I had mentioned. The repairs were completed and Jase took care of the bill just as he had assured me. Jase and Greg went above and beyond with my buying experience and I must say they changed the way I feel about buying a used vehicle. They were professional, polite, honest and enthusiastic about the entire transaction and their follow through was the most impressive. I HIGHLY recommend Truck Ranch if you want a high end, solid truck and if you want to deal with trustworthy, honorable professionals. I just bought my first diesel truck. Being an hours drive from the Logan location, I visited the local dealerships first. I thought the big local dealerships would give me a decent deal, but to my surprise it turned out they just matched up to their reputation of treating people like a dollar sign. Greg went WAY above and beyond doing what he could to work out a deal over phone/text. He gave us 1/3 more for my trade then any of the big dealerships. Not only were we treated like people from the start, they were HONEST. Even when a vehicle wouldn't work for me they didn't try and drag me an hour away just to find out there wasn't anything I wanted. After we arrived at the dealership, we waited for the bad news you get at every dealership I have ever been to like the numbers you were given suddenly didn't work out. But that news never came, Greg and Jase stood by their word, gave me the promised amount for my trade and the new truck at the agreed price. Hands down the best truck buying experience of my life! I was in and out of the dealership in two hours, driving my new truck home and made some friends in the process. You can't beat that! The next day Greg contacted us to make sure we were happy with our purchase. These guys care about customer relationships and being your go to truck dealer for the future and make sure you're happy, not the money they can get off you now. RUN FAR AWAY!!! This company has turned off Google reviews and deleted all non-positive ones. We are now almost $5k deep into repairs on a truck my husband bought in May of this year. And that's even with the crappy "warranty" they told us to buy. One initial repair of $800 before he could really even drive it, a surprise $4,000 bill, another $1000 for it to work in the canyon properly, annnnnnd the check engine light is on. When we called to explain the problems and how much money has been sunk into this truck, they basically told us there's nothing they can do. Most, if not all their trucks will come from Canada. Weather in Canada causes a lot of rust. Truck ranch sprays the underneath with what they call a protection coating. It's actually just used as a cover up to cover all the rust. They were even nice enough to cover my exhaust and my leaking struts. Also, like someone else said on here, the customer service goes way down after the purchase. My truck is nice but a year later , 2500 miles, you start to see things. Stay away from the sketching warranty. Look at the fine print. The dollar amount it covers isn't very much. Not the worst place to buy from but maybe look around first read more

Bought a two rig, very next day lights came on there was barely any coolant in it, the oil was black and old after they claim they did the fluid's , even posted on the ad. Called in and they just told me to fill it, the next day the alternator went out, so I put in a new alternator and two batteries, should be good? nope! 3 weeks later and the transfer case exploded while in the highway, mechanic said it must have been cracked for a while. Do they even inspect their trucks like they say? 120 point inspection my ass! The guys are down to earth dudes but I don't think they look at shit, I contacted to see what they could for me and they told me it's as is! I traded in a truck with zero problems and end up here! A few weeks ago I travelled from out of state to buy a Jeep Wrangler Sahara at Truck Ranch. Spending 30k is nothing to take lightly and thankfully Trent and Ty were super supportive throughout the whole process. I had a unique situation--as I live in Durango, CO, eight hours from Logan, UT, I wanted to be pretty confident when I left quarantine and traveled to the vehicle it would be because I'd be driving back in it. Trent took extra photos for me and a video, and he drove the Jeep to a third party where I had it inspected. I appreciated that extra service and his flexibility to work with me remotely. The next day, Ty worked with me and my credit union through all the financing. Within two days of first seeing the Jeep online, I traveled to pick it up. Overall, I really appreciated the customer service. That said, two things still sit with me as room for Truck Ranch to improve: 1. As of three weeks ago, Truck Ranch was not taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously. Although everyone at Truck Ranch knew I was coming to get the vehicle, a gentleman who worked there spent some time inside my Jeep without a mask and my car was not sanitized before I took possession. I also had to ask Trent to wear a mask while we finalized things in the office (Ty would not). Trent quickly apologized, took his mask out of a backpack, and put it on, but then he proceeded to say how "laid back" they all are at Truck Ranch, which I'm sure he didn't think was offensive, but the implication from that comment entails that I am not "laid back" because I wear a mask and consider my own health and the health of others. To note, throughout my hours in Utah, I received three emergency texts from the state of Utah about rising COVID numbers there, all of which stressed the importance of masks and sanitizing. 2. When you spend 30k you should drive off with a full tank of gas--that's just a classy business move. My Jeep had a little less than half a tank when the keys were handed to me. Still, overall, I am super happy with my purchase and would recommend Truck Ranch. Although, I'd give them an even bigger shout out if they took safer precautions with COVID and topped people's gas tanks off when they drive off in a new vehicle. read more
