So I signed the waiver, but the front desk told me to it might take some time( it didn't). It literally took 2 seconds, so the girl went in, no longer then 5 minutes, less then that. Afterwards I went in, they told me to wrap up, so I did, then the trainer was like" you need the other wraps", before she could even give them to me she was like you may have to reschedule. I shouldn't have to I was ready, and I came in at the same time the other girl came in, sooo why do I need to reschedule? I could have stayed, I just think they was kind of rude and didn't help me out at all, highly would not recommend!

Though you can do drop in classes the marketing to keep you coming back can be quit aggressive, but if you do have the means to do so it's worth signing up. So, I got recommended by a friend who goes to OTF -- no idea which studio he attends but that's def a talking point imo. FNT (for next time) and all dat. I a new member and been going for a week or two by now. I joined when they had that March promo going on. Promo sux TBH, but workout doesn't so. It's pretty solid / decent actually. One minus, they messed up setting up my profile (adding my HR beats thingy and made a typo on my e-mail which caused there to be a dupe one or something). Also price is a minus, they charge me way too much. Like bro I'm not made of money, I'm just a poor boy trying to lose some fat here. Lastly and a pain point of mine, none of the trainers stop you when you're doing something flagrantly stupid. I'm talking bursting past max heart rate and hovering around 200 BPM, which is dangerous I've recently learned. Now I'm going to take it easy and go 6-8 max on the treadmill, but a bummer as I wish the trainers (or anyone there) would start yelling and maybe slap some sense into you when they see something like that. Anyway, cool story of mine. I hope to stick around, I like losing calories and training weights, trainers are pretty decent, approachable and most are even nice, app is great all around no problems so far. High ten, OTF! Up high! Heck yeah. -- UPDATE (9/25/23): Updating my review to 3-stars because I've struggled with getting along with other members here, and I have yet to make a single acquaintance or friend here. Also, front desk people are not really kind to me and pointedly avoid my eyes at times. There is also something to be said about waitlists for a class. I booked a class last minute bc I was busy with an unavoidable chore, and spent 20 min. driving to the studio. Only to be told "don't procrastinate, book earlier" by head coach here, in response to the fact that the 20 min. drive was a waste of my time (and gas). This response irks me as well as the fact that I decided to "stick it to them" and proceeded to last-minute book the next class more than one hour later at 7pm at the South Riding location, and attended class that day there. Seriously, waitlists at this (the Ashburn) studio are brutal and just the worst. Coaches are uncompromising and never kind to me, and other members largely ignore me as a whole. If I can make at least one acquaintance I can consider bumping up the rating to a 5-star, but honestly I don't see that happening anytime soon, and so the rating sticks and the review stands as it is for now. UPDATE (10/31/23): it's gotten consistently better I feel, still have no friends at OTF and don't really know anyone at the work outs, but there was at least one day where I felt good and everyone was nice to me. Then today, last day of Hell Week -- also Halloween -- I dressed up in costume, and even just two people, the coach and studio manager, commented on it. None of the members did, then again everyone's a stranger so it's hard to build rapport. Anyway, updating my review to 4-star to be fair because I have had a pleasant experience with Ashburn as my home studio so far.

To be honest, I think they did better job than any other birthday places in the area... and here is why: 1. Good communication - Throughout the planning process, Joye has been very responsive and patient in answering all our questions. 2. Passion - I can see that they have really put efforts into making the birthday party an memorable event. We told them that our son likes Harry Potter. Not only did they come up with HP games and decorations, but also they dressed up as well. All coaches had high energy level and definitely showed their love for the sport when they demonstrated. 3. Keeping the kids entertained - Mike, Preston and David did a great job to keep the kids entertained. No doubt, with 25 kids, it was quite a challenge. However, they split the kids into teams (houses like in HP) so that they could be attentive to every single kid. They also encouraged kids to take on new challenges which was excellent. 4. Venue - the best of all, we got the whole venue by ourselves, which is hard to do with other birthday places. All of us had a blast at the party, even it was snowing bad outside. The kids had so much fun that they all stayed for the whole 2 hours. Thank you again, Joye, Mike, Preston, and David, for making my son's birthday very special and awesome. We highly recommend NoVA Ninja. (PS: It was so good that some of our friends signed their kids up for classes at the party).

You ever see those girls at your gym that tries to lift weights, but has absolutely no idea what…read moreshe's doing? Yup, that's me and I have no problem admitting that! If someone isn't there to guide me while lifting weights, well then I'm shit out of luck. Cardio workouts are the only thing I know. A few weeks ago I finally realized it was time to get my act together and learn how to do more than run on a treadmill or dance around a studio. My best friend's little sister has been a part of Noble Crossfit for over a year now and always tried to get me to join. I was mainly discouraged before because of the price tag, but thought if I maybe didn't go out to eat and drink EVERY weekend..then I can use that money to pay for Crossfit. Or I can pretend I'm a baller and do it all? Sounds like something I'd do. Then I compared it to getting a personal trainer, which essentially that's what Noble Crossfit offers. At my gym, they charge $80 PER SESSION for a personal trainer. That trainer better give me the body of Jen Selter in that session if I'm paying $80 an hour. So, yes..a membership at Noble Crossfit is overall a GREAT value. Anyways, Noble Crossfit has been great. Laura, Nathan, and Ma truly care that you're doing the work outs properly and will adjust to your capabilities. Seeing as I have basically no upper body strength or lifting experience, they really take the time out to show me the proper techniques and form. They, along with all the members, are not there to judge you. They are there to help you lead a healthier lifestyle, so you'll never get that judgmental vibe. Yes there will be members there that are far more experienced than you, but honestly..they're focused on their own workouts...not standing there to see how much you can lift. I love that they have the workout of the day, which presents a variety/combination of work outs. Every day that you come in, you're in for a new surprise. And sometimes what's listed on the board will make you want to run back to your car and go home, but then you realize to not get scared because the instructors will guide you through it all. Nothing is impossible. You just gotta work hard and you'll grow and see results from there. And no, Noble Crossfit is not a cult..like many people assume haha

I was given the mat and towel, but not the foam roll and band(s), so I had to improvise. They have a month-to-month package ("paid in full" not commitment/enrollment fee) and a 6-month package with an enrollment fee. The packages include all the classes; however, the isometric classes require a mat and towel purchase ($100) or daily rental ($5/use). I didn't want to commit to 6 months, so I chose the PIF for one month and only did the HIIT classes. There is also a special membership that allows access to other locations. Their website (hotworx.net/workouts) has previews of each workout, which is helpful when booking the classes. I love the app as members can book their own sessions and as many sessions as desired. There aren't any booking, cancellation or late fees. I was able to book 3-6 HIIT classes back to back, and change them at the last minute. The rooms are meant to fit 3 people, except for Hot Blast, which only has 2 rowing machines. Luckily, most people just book their own rooms and don't double book in a room that's already occupied. The HIIT classes are each 15 minutes long and the isometric classes are 30-45(ish) minutes long. There also a separate workout section in the back with free weights, TRX, etc. The vending machine includes snacks, hydrating beverages and miscellaneous items including blue tooth earbuds, towel, etc. They are open 24/7, but staffed during the daytime. Members can enter any time with a code that is provided upon signing up. There is also an app that grants access. Would I return? absolutely!
