I have never had a problem with this groomer until recently. We had been taking Bella there to get her nails clipped between grooms and they told me when I asked the charge for the nail trim that it was free because I got my dog groomed there. This was the way it was for years. Then my husband took her two weeks ago and didn't have cash or his card on him and they said it was $10. He was throw off and said he would bring his card back. I called them when he got home and went round and round with the woman. She acted like I was lying. I asked to speak to the manager and they said he would call me back. Never did.
I have been taking my dog to this groomer for 4 + years. My dog has always been high strung and stressed out during her visit but the previous employees were always very patient and kind. She is a German Shepherd and only needs a bath once or twice a year. It's not routine for her.
Lisa always worked with her and took amazing care of her. Well she is gone now. Today we took her and after 3 hours I called to see if she was ready. The girl who answered went on to tell me how difficult and disruptive my dog was. That she broke a cage, etc. I get it, I would be stressed out too in that position, but to tell a paying customer that, was totally inappropriate. If this was happening, why did they continue to work on her? I would have gladly came to get her. But, instead of doing that, they felt it would be better to finish her and tell me later what a bad dog she is. Every employee in that place was just awful to me when I picked her up.
The people who work there look like they are on crack, sit outside and chain smoke while there are 8-10 dogs inside, off leash, peeing all over the floor. I saw this today with my own eyes. It was very upsetting.
There are a lot of good groomers in our area and I'll never step foot in there again. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know with dogs to avoid this place at all costs. read more
