One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. The three different front desk employees I interacted with were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The woman who oversees breakfast in the mornings was also wonderful and consistently made the breakfast area feel inviting. The complimentary breakfast was great each day, and my room was comfortable and clean throughout my stay. All of the room amenities worked as expected, including the iron and hair dryer, which I appreciated. My only suggestion for improvement would be the laundry room. It could use a little TLC in terms of general upkeep, and there was a noticeable odor in that area. That said, it didn't take away from an otherwise excellent stay. Overall, I would gladly stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Nice touch coming back at midnight after the concert they had water and snacks for everyone. Beautiful setting in the back of the hotel was a lake. Very peaceful to sit outside. When checking in, we were told we had a $100 deposit and when my friend tried to use her card it declined even though there was more than enough on her card. Lisa said "I don't know what you want me to do about that..." and was very rude. She demanded a cash deposit which we had to leave the hotel to get. While checking out we tried to get our $100 deposit back and the cleaning staff said that there was a stain on the sheet. She refused to give the deposit back and sent us back up to the room that we already checked out of to look at the stain. It looked like an old stain that had been washed previously. It also looked like blood and none of us have bled on this trip... the cleaning staff was very rude, staring at us, and telling us this was not her problem. We then came back down stairs to tell the front desk (Lisa) that it was an old stain and that it was not from us. She said she can't give us our deposit back and threatened to call the police because she did not want to speak to us anymore. We were being very nice trying to explain that this stain was not caused by us. We asked for a manager and she told us they wouldn't be in till Monday. We then called customer service and they told us there was nothing they can do besides have the manager reach out to my friend who booked it. When you check into a hotel you don't expect to check the sheets for stains incase you might be blamed for something. Lisa also told us she should have charged us a $200 deposit so she could actually get in trouble anyways because she charged us $100. If it's a standardized deposit I'm not sure how you mix up how much you're supposed to charge guests. Overall, this makes me never want to book at any best western location due to the horrible hospitality experience we had and for customer service not assisting us as they should have. This location especially will scam you for money!

I told them I won't be able to stay and I need my money back. the manager went back and forth trying to say she does not have my money and hotels.com does. after giving them a call, I was told by them that the hotel does have my money and can give me a refund. when the manager heard this, she started telling me I needed to "be nice" in order to get my money back. I did eventually get my refund. I told her she will be getting a one star review and she states she did not care. so here I am!!!

Found out the wall outlet was bad (fire hazard?). The 3rd room had a very loud broken fan in the bathroom. One bottle of shampoo and two bars of soap. When wiping up some spilled water with a washcloth, found out the floor was filthy (never mopped). Also, the microwave did not work. Per an employee, the management only employs a maintenance person for 2 hours PER WEEK at $10 per hour. Corporate should get involved or drop them all together. They are an embarrassment.

SO, you buy a 'house on a lake,' for under $200,000.00 but an additional $350,000 is needed for the 50 year land lease (MORE WITH INCREASES). NO Offense to the developers, but it's INSANE TO Try and sell these units once you buy it, as the LAND LEASE goes up with resales. NOW, who wants to pay that kind of committment for 50 years, then it's renewed after that for 50 more in the $1,000's a month range, for the LAND LEASE. THIS IS BESIDES The cost of the house. I bought in when the land lease was under $300 and sold when it hit over $500, realizing the committment I HAD SIGNED On the purchase agreement. IT's like unto LEGAL FRAUD really, as they don't TELL YOU THE FULL AMOUNT of the contract, only the sale price of the house, and the 3% annual increase, ETERNAL. THAT SUCKS. I don't care for it, and the homes are nice, but not worth THAT KIND OF MONEY OR COMMITTMENT. THESE Philadephia developers need to be shown the way back home to Pa. Besides, they try to grind you for $20,000 on furniture supposedly at 10% above cost, (YEAH RIGHT), but it's a CASH COW FOR THEM, and he even admitted it to me; that's when I decided to RUN AWAY, and get a lake house without a 50 year 3% annual increase committment on A LAND LEASE...A Terrible deal you should NOT BUY INTO..
