Tru Blu has come so highly recommended for such a long time, and has been a staple of Lower Bucks and surrounding areas. I had a tribal piece on my forearm that I was looking to "soften" for quite some time. I researched the artists and ultimately chose Jerome Taylor. I approached him with my idea, and he immediately understood what I was looking for. He not only provided his professional and artistic input, but allowed me to help collaborate. Now, the forearm hibiscus that started it all, is slowly but surely becoming a right arm sleeve, to include: plumeria, lotus, peacock feather, another hibiscus, and it's still going. I certainly didn't plan it that way, but was so impressed by the realistic coloring and detail, that we just kept going. The atmosphere is professional, clean, fun, creative, and you can absolutely feel the family vibe between the artists. I love Tru Blu Tattoo. Everyone in there is so nice and they make you feel right at home. I got tattoo's from 2 artists in there Kamala and Jerome. Kamala helped me dream up my one tattoo and make it reality. She did such and amazing job on my sugar skull girl (who I call Betty ) and Jerome helped me with a unique way of showing of both my daughters birthdates in roman numeral number. After having previously been tattooed by a few different artists, I found Tru Blu online and just scheduled an apptm as a walk in. My friend and I were both tattooed by Cody, and after having such a great few hours with him, he's been my go to ever since. Crazy talented guy, super meticulous, cares about his clients, and is just an overall great friend. I wouldn't go to anyone else! This was my first time at Tru Blu (but second time getting tattooed by Cody), and I loved the shop. Very cool environment. Just as he did the first time, Cody blew me away with his work. He tattooed my dog on my right shoulder blade area. The tattoo is amazing! I can't believe that when I look at it I actually see my dog's expressions in her eyes and facial features. This place is cleaner than a doctors office. I've had a few previous tattoos from different artists, but this place has been my favorite. My Artist of choice is Cody, he is very patient, very gentle, and does AMAZING work. He takes time to listen to what you want, even if you change your mind a million times. He makes 3 1/2 hours feel like 20 minutes. He is a very deep thinker so conversations are always interesting while getting inked. I think if he moved cross country I would still go to him for a tattoo. read more

I absolutely love this place! Very clean shop. Everyone there is really friendly and helpful. I've been there for 3 different tattoo's and each time I've gone I wasn't 100% what I wanted but they nailed it every time!!!! Jackie did my first 2 a cover up on my ankle (beautiful flower) and a tribute to my son on back and Lou did an awesome job on the angel wings for my son on my wrist. Best tattoo I ever got was from Jackie "The Ink Bitch" Jennings. I wish I knew of her before I got my first few tattoos. I will never go anywhere else but tru Blu tattoo. I asked her for a real like owl with cherry blossoms and for it to say your wings were ready my heart was not. What I got was awesome real like and just absolutely beautiful. Horrible experience. Tattoo was messed up . Jackie the owner apologized , but never called me back after I tipped her artist. I never had any argument and was polite. I was just ignored after 3 calls , texts and voicemail message. I just wanted a reasonable price to fix it. Jackie Jennings lied to me and contacted me after I gave her shop a bad review 4 months later. She blamed it on the circumstances and didn't offer me any way to correct an alien headed tattoo. read more

Followed artist Lou here from Jersey because he's awesome. Tru Blu is a great job where you can see everyone has a good relationship and works well together. When I was there I was getting a cover up and it turned out great. That night my sister ended up getting her first tattoo because she felt so comfortable there. Would definitely recommend. Love all my ink, let Jackie do what she thought would look good down huge rib side piece, she came in when closed to work on it and I love it soo much I get tons Compliments on it and she do little writing in minutes after a long session in unique places that fit body curves perfect and all hwr work unique. Cody has done 5 of my tattoos so far. And each more incredible than the last. I get compliments almost every day for my finger tattoo which seems so simple to me compared to the 3 bigger ones on my legs. He's insanely talented for how young he is and I know he's just going to get better and better, if that's even possible!!! The artist are top notch! Very clean and awesome studio. For the pieces my husband got the prices are great. Kamala did a coverup on my husband's arm and it turned out great.
