Not a huge place but a good general line of antiques: jewelry, odds and ends and some "mantiques" as well. They have a variety dating from 1800s - 1960s. Not a lot of new junk (which is really nice). I know the name makes it sound like a girly antique store, but it's really not!

Ive been supporting local businesses as much as possible but…read moreunfortunately after making a purchase at taylors and being told buyer beware because they sell items that arent really vintage or even what they claim they are ill never shop there again. The items were marked and sold as vintage eye wash cups but in reality they are just small laboratory beakers. I do not collect eye wash cups or know much about the types or designs but paid $10 a piece for 3 of them for an elderly friend that collects them because the tag said they were eye wash cups. Taylors refuses to refund and do a return. #1 false advertising. #2 bad business decision. #3 not a business I will ever trust again and have gone there and spent quite a bit on items just for home decor not for antique value.

Even if it is these amazing brass walking candlesticks that you didn't know you loved already. We have met a few people who run the shop, but it is Sophia who has been the star for us . From helping with finding just the right piece of furniture, to helping put together reasonable packages, to convincing you that something might, or might not, be the right fit for you. She was the star of our experiences there. So far, we have 2 sets of furniture consisting of 12 pieces that fit our new home perfectly and I'm convinced there will be more in our future. We have a relationship with Home Again and I expect it to be a long one.

Stopped at Second Chances Antique Gallery in Warren to see what interesting things I could find…read more From the outside it Second Chances doesn't look like much, but once you get inside it is impressive; there are 3 rooms of a wide variety of stuff. Lots of variety, collectibles, antiques, instruments, toys, and just about anything you could be looking for. Talking to the owner I found out that he had recently bought out the previous owner and was getting things organized and cleaned up. I was impressed with the wooden masks and assorted carvings they had; most were very high quality and vintage. The back room has a wide variety of items, from the usual flea market trinkets to really nice items. I found a really cool walking stick with a hatchet head, it was unpriced and the owner was great about negotiating a fair price. Overall I was very impressed with the variety and selection at Second Chance, well worth the drive. The new owner was very friendly and willing to deal. If you are looking for something vintage or antique go and check them out.

You really need to spend some time here digging if you are looking for something specific. The price point seems fair on most books. Some books seemed more expensive than others. In addition, some parts of the store are a bit dusty and overall the store isn't organized well. They also have an old soda fountain, which I heard wasn't very good. Overall, it was a good stop while I was in town from CA and needed something to do.
