Besides a very clean pond filled with beautiful water fowl , there is also a small Japanese garden at the top of a steep hill that overlooks the pond. I don't know about you, but swans are a very rare occurrence in my sheltered world so being able to see two up close was awesome! There is a large shelter house in the very back of the park that provides a clean, uncluttered view of Lake Erie. Right now there are Christmas decorations if you're into viewing holiday lights. This is easily one of the cleanest parks I've ever visited. Although it is NOT DOG FRIENDLY, I would encourage you to bring the rest of the family.

The grounds are well-maintained and there is strategic seating along most trails. There were these chain link basket devices located around one field and it took me almost a month to find out that it has something to do with a frisbee game. There are bathroom facilities and grills and garbage pails so this is designed to be used by families for picnics. I plan on returning in the summer to see this beautiful park in full bloom.

I love chicken tenders, but was not a fan; they were not crispy and breading was falling off which stinks because theirs was so good last year. Jumbotron does not work so 7 inning stretch and side games were not to be seen. No games on the field (like ketchup and mustard race), no t-shirts thrown out during the 7th inning. Disappointed for the first game of the season. But even with those issues, I love going just for a cheaper baseball atmosphere (vs guardians). You still need a clear backpack if you want to bring in a purse size, but diaper bags are allowed.
