The selection is extensive & fairly well organized with a good balance between large & small items. I've not had an issue reading the price tags though my vision is not the best. The prices marked are high though the proprietor was willing to negotiate fairly. He even made the effort to retrieve & offer us an item which had not yet been inventoried because it was associated with our other purchases. For the collector looking for the out-of-the-ordinary, I feel it's definitely worth a stop. ______ Hey, fellow Yelpers! Be careful shopping at taylors. Ive been supporting local businesses as much as possible but…read moreunfortunately after making a purchase at taylors and being told buyer beware because they sell items that arent really vintage or even what they claim they are ill never shop there again. The items were marked and sold as vintage eye wash cups but in reality they are just small laboratory beakers. I do not collect eye wash cups or know much about the types or designs but paid $10 a piece for 3 of them for an elderly friend that collects them because the tag said they were eye wash cups. Taylors refuses to refund and do a return. #1 false advertising. #2 bad business decision. #3 not a business I will ever trust again and have gone there and spent quite a bit on items just for home decor not for antique value.

Items from the shop were placed online. I reached out letting the owner know I was interested and…read moreasked if the items were still available, understanding that I might not be the first to comment. The lister then said that it WAS available - this was after the shop had already closed for the evening by the time we were communicating. I was working out with the owner when I could pick up based on her open hours - telling her my best convenience but ultimately letting her know that I'd rework my schedule with whatever works for her since it was something my daughter really needed. She said she'd get back to me in the morning with the time that would work. I didn't hear from her so I checked my messages to see that she marked the item as sold. I, of course, figured she had marked it sold for me (giving her the benefit of the doubt) and asked her if she had figured out when I could grab the items and she told me she had sold it. In hindsight, there was one red flag when we were communicating as she said "a ton of people want it". If that was the case, then I imagine it wasn't really available and/or we were being scammed. I was disappointed to say the least. If she had told me that I had to get it the second she opened, I would have called off work to grab it. She didn't. She simply said she'd get back to me with the time that worked for her. If it wasn't available, she should not have said it was. This is not how a shop with integrity works.

Not a bad store but didn't care for how I was treated. Walked around for about five minutes when…read morecollege kids came in. Suddenly everyone had to lock their "bags" in tiny lockers because we might "knock things over". Oh please! My husband was carrying a bag from another store and a big bag of kettle corn. The lady at the counter was rudely grandstanding to like cover up her distrust on young college kids, which is bad enough, but now you're going to get all up in my face to cover it up? Nope. There's a very nice antique store across the street. Thanks.
