I told him to stop right there, do not schedule anything, and have those new x-rays emailed to us. So fast forward, his dentist at home squeezed him in when he was able to get home for an evaluation and review of the x- rays they took. His current dentist (who he has seen since his first tooth) had to take new x-rays because the ones provided by Magnolia were sub-par. And as I expected, he did not have even ONE cavity, and his dentist said he teeth looked exactly as his last appointment approximately 9 months ago. And fortunately, not only was his dentist was just happy to report that he had a clean bill of health, but he sent my son on his way without charging him a dime. I really couldn't believe it when my son said SEVEN cavities. That is insane! After I finish writing this review, I will be contacting my insurance company to let them know of the sub-standard service offered at this location by this dentist, and how I really feel like they are taking advantage of patients who are gullible and essentially scam them. I clearly expressed that I've already invested over $10,000 in dental work and was looking for solutions specifically related to the discoloration and possible crowns. Instead of addressing my main concern, the appointment felt focused on upselling. After multiple X-rays, I was told I needed an upgraded cleaning costing around $500, along with other recommendations like braces, none of which addressed the reason I came in. I left without receiving the care I requested. After confirming with my insurance that a basic cleaning was covered, I called Sterling Creek Dental and scheduled a second appointment specifically for that service. However, when I arrived, I was again told in person that they would not provide a basic cleaning and that I would need to pay for the upgraded service. This could and should have been communicated over the phone. Instead, I had to take time out of my day for an appointment that the office already knew they would not honor as requested. Overall, I felt my concerns were dismissed and the focus was placed on selling higher-cost services rather than providing patient-centered care. Clear communication and respect for a patient's time and priorities are essential, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would not return to this office or recommend it to others.
