We came in for an underbite consultation, and the doctor thoroughly explained everything. They even used the images from our dentist, avoiding unnecessary repeat checks. The doctor also did a detailed video check of all teeth and gave very thoughtful recommendations. The staff were extremely polite, caring, and never pushed us into any decisions. Instead, they advised us to consult with other specialists, like an ENT, to address mouth breathing before orthodontic treatment. They even provided a referral. Overall, this was one of the most impressive and pleasant consultations we've ever had. We're very satisfied--thank you!

When I tried to follow up and find common ground, it was clear that Dr. Lawton doesn't invite discussion -- it's his way or nothing. The friendly tone I expected just wasn't there. As a Veteran and father of multiple children, I've interacted with many medical providers over the years. Unfortunately, this one left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Filled out all their financial paperwork but choose a bank draft as it was an option they offered made it about the payment and how I should plan to pay when I come in as I choose the other Bank Draft. Thought it would be better to effectively pay as they had it in their paperwork without any extra credit Catd fees. Spoke with Dr. Lawton but he focused on sending me away to another place and made his financial director right. Wasn't a customer service experience.

Terrible from start to finish…read more Before my first appointment, the office was shut down for 2-3 weeks I believe something major happened. Almost like the board demanded shut down due to an issue that may have occurred. Boy do I wish I had took this as a sign. When my first issue with the office occurred, I sent a text to their portal stating something along the lines of "I see why they shut you guys down, they should do it again" EDNA, then called me literally yelling. I'm not even exaggerating when I say this woman was yelling at me for saying that comment and then threatened me with "I CAN HAVE THE DOCTOR DISMISS YOU AND YOU'LL ONLY GET 20% OF YOUR PAYMENT BACK" Being that I had my braces on for 3 months at the time and paid them in full, I was in NO position in getting "dismissed" so I had to play the part well and apologize which is INSANE lol Fast forward to my 2nd last visit, I flew out from tx since I no longer live in FL. This visit was to do a scan for the removal/retainers.. The scanner didn't work lol can't make this up. No sorry, no empathy, nothing!! CAROLINA stated "well it's not working what would you like me to do?" In her very monotone way. I then asked to speak to the doctor because I paid $300 specifically to make it to this appointment and he got argumentative. He was laughing sarcastically and not allowing me to speak Till I finally said "allow me to speak, I'm The one who flew out here just for you guys not to be able to do absolutely anything other than reschedule me" After I left, I asked them to release me since I no longer live in FL and found a much better doctor that was willing to remove the braces and complete the work, only if Dr.lach provided a letter of approval. Took a week to hear back just for Edna to let me know that Dr.lach said no because he wants to finish the work himself. I told her no worries, I'll leave a review on yall. She then bribed me by offering the teeth polishing for free in lieu of a good review. They ended up telling me they don't recommend I do the teeth polishing on the DAY OF but still gave me the options to do it if I wanted to. I just said forget it, I'll gladly pay the money else where. Keep Your free procedure that probably would've came out a hot mess. And you know what, I honestly was going to give them some grace and leave a better review and not share as much of the negative but then during my last visit (YESTERDAY 9/16/25) For some reason I was not scheduled for the teeth polishing. After waiting 40 minutes I asked the receptionist how much longer so he went to check with Brad and BRAD responded "idk, Edna scheduled her not me" He said it in a way as if I was such a bother and loud enough for Me to hear it. That was the last straw for me. I stood quiet and calm which I'm typically not the type to do so. He's very passive aggressive. I knew I no longer had to deal with any of them going forward. I have left out about 80% of the issues I have experienced because it's been so many. But when I say it has been a nightmare from start to finish.... I am not exaggerating!! The only positive I can think of is that they would squeeze me in last minute, but typically had to speak with Edna and pretty much beg them to see me. So I do appreciate them squeezing me in last minute here & there. So here you go, here's your honest review. Do better. EDIT: notice Dr.lach's response to all the negative reviews! I did a course of Invisalign at Collins Dental and it was... okay…read more The Pros: - Everyone at the office is friendly and welcoming - They have freshly baked cookies every day - Dr. Collins is professional and knowledgeable - I *mostly* got my teeth straightened The Cons: - They are very hands off; I saw them a total of once during my actual treatment (halfway through). In fairness, I was told I could call in at any time. - My first real problem started when I finished my treatment. They had a trainee scan my teeth for the permanent retainer, who spent 15 mins waving the wand around in my mouth. The trainee was being monitored, but after all that work, something that important should have been done directly by a dentist. Additionally, the attachments weren't removed first, which meant they were digitally removed later, this could also be part of why I had trouble later. - My retainers ended up being very tight and painful to wear. I made a follow-up appointment and several calls regarding them, and was told they are fine and that Vivera retainers take 'some getting used to.' However, I then began to develop staining on my front teeth and tooth sensitivity, which I've never had in my life. I made another call and was told in order to be helped, I had to make an appointment for a cleaning (not included in my plan), so that they can polish off the stains and examine my teeth. - The cleaning ended up costing $500, I was upsold a ~$70 electric toothbrush which I was told would help with staining (it did not). I was also told that cleaning my retainers with dish soap was the cause of the problem, so I started using retainer tablets instead, but the stains returned shortly after. - I realized the retainers WERE the issue, and told them I want to get rescanned for new ones. I was charged an additional $320 for them*, and had to toss out the old set. However, due to the pain, I'd stopped wearing the retainers as consistently, and my teeth had shifted. *(Again, being fully fair, they agreed to refund me $290 for my first set of retainers, but ended up just wiping out a $250 balance for my cleaning. Letting me absorb the $40 difference) - I then asked if I had any refinement trays included to fix the shifting, but was told my case had expired. - I found out the office had elected to use Invisalign Go (a lite version that expires a year after its start, despite the fact my invoice says 'Invisalign - Regular Case'). The standard Invisalign version expires after five years. For the curious, I was charged $5400 for a short 6 month treatment plan and 12 trays (Online estimates how that Invisalign Go should cost $3k-$4k, and that it cost the office ~$1k to purchase them). However, even that limited plan should have left me plenty of time to get my refinement ordered. Except: My initial complaints about the retainer, staining, sensitivity, and discomfort were waved away for months. When I finally requested a rescan for new retainers, I was not told my teeth had shifted, though it should have been clear to them they had. I requested my scans months before my expiration to verify what I was seeing, but was repeatedly told the scans are 'too difficult to send.' When I finally got them in March (after pushing) I could clearly see they had shifted. But my case had expired in January. The reason I chose this office was because it was $500 dollars cheaper than an orthodontist's quote I received. However, the orthodontist offered a comprehensive plan of Invisalign & 1 free set of retainers, and I'm certain I would not have had the issues I did with staining and tooth sensitivity had I gone there. On top of that, I ended up paying an additional (~$600 for retainers, $500 for a cleaning, and another $70 for a toothbrush), essentially making this option more expensive. And at the end of it, my teeth aren't fully straight, which was the whole point of doing this. I still quite like Dr. Collins and the office, but I'm not exactly happy, so three stars. *Edit: was provided a $1260 refund for inconveniences suffered.

I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other. I really enjoyed the cinnamon but decided to stick with the other that I cannot recall. I even got walked out and was gifted a tumbler too. I absolutely love my new dental office.

No matter what time of day my appointments have been the service is always the same whether it's at 7:30am or late afternoon. I recently had an Orthodontist emergency and love that this office offers "comfort issue" walk-ins between 7:30am-8:30am with no appointments. I was able to have my issue corrected and then I was off to work without being late. Convenience and great service go a long way in my book.

This caused a huge delay in their treatment. Basically it seems like we started over from scratch. And while this was unfortunate and I know my kids weren't thrilled with having the braces twice as long as we expected, everything seems to have worked out well. My son just had his braces taken off and his teeth look great. I appreciate Dr. Marris taking on a huge number of patients suddenly the way she did. Our billing transferred over seamlessly. My only complaint is with scheduling. It has been more difficult to get appointments than the old orthodontist was. I wish they had more flexible hours since so many of their patients are school-aged. I have had real trouble getting afternoon appointments and there are many appointments that they will only book in the morning. That's a big issue for me since I don't want my kids missing too much school. Overall I'm happy. The office staff is very nice. My kids like going there. My youngest will be getting braces soon, we will probably take her to Dr. Marris as well.
