This wasn't just a cosmetic remodel. The bathroom was completely gutted, and the electrical and plumbing were updated and reconfigured, including relocating the light switches and adding new lighting. We removed the old bathtub and created a beautiful walk-in shower, enlarged the shower window, added a built-in bench and niche, and completely updated the tile, flooring, vanity, fixtures, and finishes. The tile work is absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail throughout the bathroom is incredible. We were able to choose everything we wanted, and Bryce and his team brought our vision to life even better than I expected. One of the things I appreciated most about Bryce was how involved he was throughout the entire project. He came by every day to check on the progress, and he was hands-on with the work himself. He was always easy to talk to and approachable, and whenever we had a question, he took the time to answer it. He was also very transparent and upfront about costs, and if something unexpected came up, he communicated with us honestly. Every person he brought into our home was professional, respectful, and considerate of our space. Bryce also worked really well with my husband, and I appreciated that they were able to communicate openly and make sure everyone was on the same page throughout the project. At the end of the day, the quality of the work speaks for itself. I am absolutely blown away by our new bathroom and couldn't be happier with the finished result. If you're looking for a contractor who is honest, professional, knowledgeable, hands-on, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way, I would highly recommend Bryce and LVL General Contracting. We definitely found someone we would trust with future projects in our home -- and honestly, I think we made a friend along the way too. Thank you, Bryce, for bringing our vision to life!

Late on a Friday evening, we discovered serious floor damage beneath our tenant's bathroom toilet after it was removed during a plumbing repair. We had added urgency to repair it ASAP since this is the only bathroom in the property. We received a few competitive quotes but ultimately chose to move forward with Bryce because of his thoroughness, attention to detail, promptness, and professionalism from the very beginning. Throughout the entire process, he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions/concerns, was proactive in finding solutions, and made us feel confident that the work was being done correctly. The quality of the work was excellent and his team worked efficiently to complete the project in two days. On top of the emergency repair, we also decided to update the vanity to match the new floors. Bryce went above and beyond by helping us with materials and design choices late on a Saturday night. The final result turned out great and we're very happy with how everything came together. It can be difficult to find trustworthy, reliable contractors in this industry, which made us even more grateful to have come across Bryce and his team. Most importantly, we wanted to find someone we could continue working with for future projects, and we definitely did. Highly recommend Bryce and his team!

After being comfronted of using nonconforming materials they continued to assured that it was the materials specified in contract until we filled a claim with the bond company. Then they admitted to using non conforming materials. After the roofing work was performed, my home developed a leak that had not existed before the project, resulting in damage to the interior of my home. What should have been a straightforward roofing project turned into an ongoing dispute. Despite the leak and resulting interior damage, the company has refused to accept responsibility for the interior damages or pay for the repairs caused by the leaking roof. Since raising these concerns, it has been a nightmare trying to get the company to correct the work. Rather than providing the documentation I requested to verify that qualified personnel would perform a contract-compliant repair, I have received repeated generic responses that fail to address my concerns or provide the information needed to move forward. As a homeowner, I expected the work to be completed according to the contract and for any problems to be addressed promptly and professionally. Instead, I have been forced to spend months pursuing a resolution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If you hire them, verify that the materials being installed match your contract, document every stage of the project, and get everything in writing.

Erick on the other hand has been on time and responsive on our first step of the process and that is the design and permitting of the work we want to do on our house. He has been on time on everything we have asked of him and high degree of honesty. His honesty has helped us with navigating our discussion with other contractors. We have not settled on a contractor on the actual remodel but the work Erick has done so far on drafting our architectural design renderings and permit process. His sehas been top notch and if all goes well, my wife and I are strongly considering hiring him as our contract for the actual remodel. Stay tuned and I'll let you know how that turns out. So this is part 2 of the prior review and it is post project completion review. So long story short Erick and his crew have been top notch, professional, cost effective, honest, punctual, available, approachable in every sense of every word I am using to describe his work. Although the project took a little longer then expected it was not his doing but rather my ability to keep up with the pace of the work. I suggest you order things in advance especially windows and any custom work. In short we remodeled our kitchen, laundry room and master bath. Demolished a hallway and bedroom closet to extend the hall way from front to back, sealed some doorways, widen the doorway to the kitchen and then because the price was right and we had the resources, we decided to paint the whole house. All in all, Erick was a man with solutions, advice and was really looking out for us and making sure the project was done right. I highly recommend Erick from start to finish on any project you are doing. Hey will do your design, get your permits, do the demolishing, remodel and be there for final inspection. And he did this all with the same crew everyday. Which for me means a lot because that means he has people who want to work for him such as Marcos, who was builder on the spot. Thank you Erick and Marcos, our family is really enjoying everything you did. Whatever is our next project, I know I only have one call to make and that is to Erick.

We were also VERY concerned about our businesses in our building being affected with the closure. I received several bids from other companies for the same work, not only was Marco the most competitive, but he went above and beyond the scope of his bid and covered additional things so that the finished product would look complete (e.g. sealing cracks in our concrete, extending the concrete section). He was able to commit to working on a Sunday so we didn't affect the businesses. He was very punctual and true to his word. The work itself was stellar! We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!
