The store is full of charm and value - and most importantly, local foods! Of course we were looking for cheese curds and Denny's Super Valu had quite the selection. Cheddar and white - and a mix, plus others with seasonings and such... and local! We already had our smoked salmon from Havegard's and the mix of Cheddar and white looked most appealing. We saw some other cruisers looking for WI cheese curds and pointed out the great varieties. We weren't the only ones looking for local cheese goodness! No indeed, as when we were back onboard the ship we found some new friends had grown up with cheese curds and were wishing they had found Denny's Super Valu as well. Yep, we DID share our cheese curds and even some of the smoked salmon. The ship's food was fabulous, but the cheese curds and smoked salmon were worthy of a scouting trip in lovely Algoma! We always check out the baking aisle - and were so tempted at the boxed whipped frosting. You all have Jello sugar free pudding that is to be cooked - and that did come home with us. The candy aisle is also a gotta check it out, and I found a special bag of black licorice for a new friend who LOVES it - and the rewards for it were beyond belief. I'm not a fan of premade pizzas, especially when we have places in town that make theirs from scratch. This is a good place for someone getting gas and wants a slice of pizza. It felt light and was several grams under what it was supposed to be. I put in for a return, and these guys cancelled my return request, and won't answer any of my messages. They refuse to give me a refund on my money. I just have to say, if this is a professional business, its being run very unprofessionally. For one, they should be embarrassed for selling a fake coin. Any LCS worth its salt tests EVERYTHING that comes thru the door. Their reputation counts on it. Well, I'd give a pass if this was their first mistake, but after reading some more reviews on Ebay, this isn't the first time they've sold counterfeit coins. I left a negative review, but somehow they got it scrubbed. Employee did not give me a chance to explain after the appraisal I would check with my sister for approval to sell. She told me they would charge me for the appraisal. This is horrible service!!! I know I looked a little homeless because I was dressed for the weather but how about getting the whole story from potential customers before dismissing them! I will never come back to this establishment!!!!
