Carried my F150 to have the oil changed, tires rotated and balanced. I drive home and park it. I go to drive it again in a couple of days and I realize my tight hub cap is missing. I call them and they said they would look into it. I then look on the other side. Missing two hub caps. I call them again. They would look into it. They call me back and say when the truck left the shop they were both on there. They said I could come and look at the video. I hung up. So I need two of these hub caps. read more

took my truck in for a repair for braking problems and a recall. they did the recall which was reprogramming said they changed a part to fix braking problem but would not tell me what part after asking multiple times and charged me $579 for it drove it for a week same problem popped up so again I asked what I got charged for suspecting I got charged for nothing just so they could make money off the warranty of the recall. then they changed my abs module went to pick it up and got in it i had little grocery bags of trash in it (so not to litter while driving or trashing my truck) they had been ripped up by some type of animal and my truck smelled like an ashtray and the mechanic left trash all in my truck. Please don't ever go to Trotter Ford to get your car fixed in any capacity. Getting a basic oil change ended up cost us over $500. We just had our car serviced and they broke one wheel stud on our car and charged us for it. They charged us over $160 to fix it. They told us we need to get a new battery but we finally realized there's nothing wrong with our car battery. My wife told them we would never do business with them again!!! read more

Trotter Ford sent me an email offering "The Works" service for my car. This was advertised on the website as including oil change & tire rotation, oil & oil filter included, with an advertised price of $64.95. I have a screen shot of this email/website ad. The website offered to "make an appointment" for this service, so I did (for July 23, 1:30pm). I arrived at Trotter Ford before my appointment time and told them I had an appointment for "The Works." When work was completed, I was told my bill was $85. $85 for a service advertised as, and for which I made an appointment for, $64.95. I told the lady who gave me my bill that I had made the appointment for the advertised price of $64.95. She said that "we don't make appointments; it's first come, first serve." I assured her that I had made an appointment for $64.95, for which I could show her the email confirmation of the service and 4 text messages reminding me of this appointment. She said "If you made an appointment, it was with FORD, not with our dealership. The bill I gave you ($85) is our price." Not only did this bill given to me by Trotter Ford for the appointment I made online for $64.96 cost more than $64.95, but they also added $8.11 for "shop supplies." I asked what were the "shop supplies" I was being charged for, because the ad specifically said the $64.95 price (that Trotter refused to honor) included oil & filter. She said the $8.11 was a "standard charge" for their dealership, but could not tell what supplies were used that I was being charged extra for. After I returned home, I printed the email confirming the appointment I made on the website that Trotter ford refused to honor and sent a message on the Trotter website to call me to discuss this horrible, fraudulent, unethical customer service. I have yet to receive a call. I will never do business with any Ford maintenance/service business again, and definitely not Trotter Ford. read more

Very bad experience with this dealership. I was interested buying an electric vehicle they listed at a discounted price. I exchanged few emails with the internet sales rep. First of all he was not responsive. I was asking number of questions and he was responding only one of them then I had to ask again. It took more than 2 days to get the info I needed ( still few of the questions were unanswered.) Then another rep contacted me.  My last pending question was if they are registered on IRS wesite as EV dealer, so that I can get the IRS rebate for EV. They kept on telling that there is no more discount, it is already discounted. When I showed them that there is discount from IRS, sent some articles and IRS links proving that, then they said if you want that discount, we will take off our discount and you will pay sticker price minus the IRS rebate. We cannot give both discounts. Why can't I have both? One is dealer discount, whereas the  other was rebate from federal govt., not from dealer's pocket.  Their dealership will be getting the price they listed it for, then why are they trying to get more if customer is eligible to get rebate from IRS? I did not ask to reduce a single penny from the price they listed. I tried to convince them sending all the information from official IRS website. But they kept repeating the same. Very rude and adamant representatives. Thankfully, I did not drive down and then discovered all these issues.  I will stay away from this dealership. You should too! 8/23/24 Trotter Ford Dealership Dishonesty of used vehicles sales. ~Buyer beware of this dishonest dealership to customers. I am a Disabled Military Veteran, on 8.23.2024 I went into Trotter Ford Lincoln Used Car Dealership to purchase a 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO. Exactly, after three days in the purchase of the truck, the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro was noticed to start having all sorts of problems the engine light came on 3 day after purchase. This gave the impression the Trotter Ford only Cleared the engine codes and sold the truck as is. I had a discussion with the Dusty and the floor sales manager they just told me it's your problem to deal with now after the purchase from day 5. They sold and advertised a Toyota Tundra TRD PRO truck and had cheap fake parts in the suspension and led this customer to believe they were buying a specific Trim model Toyota Tundra TRD Pro packaged truck. They knew about this cheap modification in the truck and sold it as a high-end truck without notifying the customer the truck was modified without OEM parts as dishonest practice. My main complaint here is that I bought a specific trim model of a truck that was advertised by Trotter Ford Lincoln as thus and they falsified and neglected to sell what they had advertised. This gives this dealership a shady and bad taste for customers who just want to buy what is as advertised and represented by Trotter Ford. The real disappointment is that I have to now let all of their future customers know that this is a dishonest Ford dealership that is only driven by bad deal sales and non-customer service. They sale vehicles that are not what they appear and are falsely. I might only be one disabled vet, but you can't take advantage of people like that in general. Please be cautious and wary if you're going to do business with Trotter Ford Lincoln, in Pine Bluff, AR. Of course, there is more to the story, but this review is only allowed so much space for the customer to allow to write up. I only asked that Trotter Ford honor and do what is right and fix there mislead sale of a truck that was not what they advertised to be. This dealer knew and directly sold a fake truck that was not as what they said it should have been in their sales advertising. It's hard to review a car dealership, because everyone's buying experiences will vary. Some folks may think they got a great deal, others may not. Furthermore, some people may be ticked off by a particular dealer's sales tactics. My review here is not about the car buying experience, but rather the outward appearance of the dealership and my interaction with the staff. My wife and I wanted to purchase a car from a family friend that works at a dealership in Camden, AR. They didn't have the car in stock that we wanted, but Trotter Ford did. They arranged for a dealer trade, where we took a car off Trotter's lot and brought it to the dealer in Camden, and later brought a different vehicle back to Trotter Ford to replace the one we took. So we didn't actually purchase the vehicle from Trotter, and hence did not interact with them during a sales transaction. I've been in many car dealerships over the years, and Trotter Ford was very nice in terms of appearance. Very modern, neat, and clean. The lot was well-kept, and they seemed to have a good inventory of new cars and trucks available. We interacted with several different people at the dealership, and they were very friendly and helpful - much more friendly and helpful than other dealerships I've dealt with over the years. While we were waiting for our paperwork for the dealer transfer to be completed, we walked around the lot and looked at a few other cars just to pass the time. A few salesmen approached us, but they were not pushy (like a lot of them tend to be). Overall I was very impressed with the dealership and may consider going back to them the next time I'm looking for a vehicle, even though it's quite a bit out of my way (I live in north Little Rock). read more

Traveling to New Orleans for Spring Break from Little Rock the check engine light came on one hour into our 7 hour drive. Trotter Ford Lincoln was exceptional. Service advisor Emily Finch was efficient, friendly, and worked us into their service queue quickly. Mechanics Chris Barnes and Gary Duckworth resolved our issue and reassured us that our Lincoln MKX was safe and that we should continue our trip. Fairly priced, kind and effective service. I was in Trotter Ford last week. I was with a friend that has had her used Nissan she bought from them 3 times. I told the salesman that sold it to her that it looks like it might be something different from what they keep fixing. He started yelling at me that it was none of my business and to shut my mouth. I reported this to the dealership and was told that I would get a call back. It has been a full week and I have heard nothing. Trotter Ford Lincoln has the WORST service department I have ever seen! If I could give them zero stars, I would. It took their service department about 3 weeks to finally figure out what was wrong with my Mother's car. Initially, they had the car over a full week before they could even get to it. Did they tell us it would take that long? Nope. Offer my Mother a "loaner" car? Nope. My Mother got her car back and the "repairs" lasted a whopping 48 hours! My Mother was stranded on a busy road while waiting for Trotter Ford to show up and tow the car back to the dealer. I even researched possible causes of the problem by contacting a close friend in another state who has his own shop and he made some recommendations based on what he has seen on 2013 Ford Taurus cars. When I politely mentioned this to the guy in the service department, he arrogantly informed me that "....we have expensive machines that will tell us the code so we know what is wrong...." Well, turns out, the recommendation was "spot on" but he wouldn't listen and then later told my Mother that, "Well, with all of this new stuff on cars nowadays, there aren't codes for all of the things that can go wrong." What??!! They then way over-charged my Mother and, later, after our protest, indicated that the "....computer wasn't working right..." and that is why she was over-charged! I called the manager at Trotter but he never returned my phone call, so I contacted the main Ford Headquarters and they opened up a case for my Mother's car. The bottom line is that Ford Trotter Lincoln lied to my Mother, initially overcharged her and then failed to properly repair the car the first time. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Great experience here buying and trading a car.....they quickly fixed paperwork errors and even paid another dealership to fix the car I bought from trotter because I live so far from their dealership....that was impressive! Definitely would recommend trotter ford. read more
