Yet, it does not happen very often. My wife and I just booked a House in Destin for mid-October. I wanted a golf cart. By the way, I used to live in Destin so I knew, the Golf Cart was very important. I called two places. The second was Beach Better Golf Cart Rentals. I got a message however it said I could text them on that number. I did and got a reply back in less then two minutes. The prices were more then reasonable and I could take care of the entire transaction online. Now for the rest of the story!!!! The home we rented is one of my personal friends. I asked him which Golf Cart rental place he uses. He said, "None". The home comes with a six passenger golf cart. So I did not have to rent a golf cart after all. BUT, when I do and that will happen, this is the ONLY place I will consider. The world needs to remember that we clients just want professionalism and prompt communication. We will pay more to get it. Customer service is the key.

Beware On our trip…read moreto Destin, we stepped off of the airplane and met a couple of friends and decided we needed a larger golf cart than the one that came with our condo. In our haste, I went to this company's website filled out all of the information and paid over $1000 to rent a golf cart for a week. They immediately called me collected the address and told me that they would deliver the golf cart that night. A couple hours later they called back realizing that I was staying in Resort called sandestin that they could not deliver the golf cart because Sandestin is a closed resort that does not allow deliveries. It does say "no sandestin" on their website. This was an oversight on my part and I admit it 100%. They then told me that they do not do refunds. The owner reached out through email and told me that people book months in advance and hurt their business because they want a refund once they arrive and realize that the cart cannot be delivered to sandestin. This is understandable and I do not blame them. However, my rental was denied the same day and I did not hold up their cart for a week. The owner simply told me that they're going to keep my $1000 and that's the end of it because the website says "no sandestin". I even offered to pay for the cart for a full day because of the confusion and they refused me because they just want the $1000 for no services rendered. Minor mistake and oversight on my part, absolutely! Ethical of this business owner to take advantage of people from out of town and keep all of the money from a same-day rental when a cart was never issued? You decide. I have copies of the emails. I'm happy to post them, but this company will do whatever they can to keep your money I would not trust them. This was a very simple decision to make for this business owner but that chose to keep money for nothing rendered on a same day mistake. Good luck , there's a lot other rental spots. Choose wisely.

Bikes, Scooters, Golf Carts, Watercraft Rentals, and More!…read more Staff greeted us and explained pricing, took copies of our driver's license, and asked us to read and sign/initial the Scooters Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and Release of Liability. My husband and I rented two scooters for 2 hours for $285.00. There is a $200 deposit that was refunded the next day. Helmets under Florida law, riders over the age of 21 who carry at least $10,000 in medical insurance coverage are not required to wear a helmet. You are required to wear a helmet when you take possession of the scooter but can remove it when you are off of their property. Eyewear is required, so bring your sunglasses. Trust me you will need it. Staff offered a brief instructional on how to operate the scooter and observed a test drive in the front parking lot. After two circles we were off! It is against the law to drive scooters on the interstate or main highways. You can ride on the side streets and six mile beach strip. It was the perfect Florida afternoon to ride the beach strip and enjoy the sun, especially when the beach is crowded. Make sure you return the scooter with a full tank otherwise you will be charged $10.00. There is a Shell gas station on the strip and was less than $2.00 to top off two scooters. We had a blast and happy to Support this Local family Owned Bussiness. Supreme customer service. Highly recommend.

Completely went out- did not work at all. We called the company immediately and told them of our situation. They were very surprised as they told us they test all golf carts Prior to renting but were willing to exchange the cart. We were all very shaken up and asked to get a full refund which we feel should have been offered under these circumstances. I have attempted to use them twice more. They have provided me a quote for two different stays which I agree to. Once they realize it's me, they call me and tell me they misquoted me and hike the price way up. I texted screenshots of previous quotes and told then I was disappointed they were hiking the prices because of the person wanting to rent. They told me it was them who should be disappointed as they have never had to issue a full refund and they felt my husband was rude to them. I was there- he was not rude but we were rightfully upset at what happened. I will never rent from them again and I am very disappointed in how they handled themselves. If truth be told, we could have had a legal case on our hands.

Website also says they had a rental 6 miles from our VRBO . I expected to have the rental until noon on the final day due to the late delivery and the wait for them to return with fuel. They showed up at 10:38 and The driver wad very professional but caught in the middle with his manager James. I called and explained my expectation but James was rude and said they were an hour away and did nothing but kept saying "read the contract" and he would charge an additional day. He also cited their website. I have reviewed both the contract and the website so their information is still incorrect. My bill was over $700 for less than 72 hours and the cart was noncompliance for the back up tone and poor brakes. There were local rental locations offering weekly rentals for $750 and they included sound systems. My advice is to find a business with integrity and representatives that fairly deal with customers.
